sounds kinda seizure-inducing
Yeah, she’s kinda sketched out about it, and honestly, same. Could easily do more harm than good...
As for the workouts—it’s just building muscle at this point. She’s been running, I think, maybe jogging still, but she’s just getting super ripped while her weight stays the same.

silverharbor81, can you break down what these supplements actually are?
My sister’s asking if these are actually worth the money. She’s looking to drop about 20 or 30 pounds and wants to know if there's any point in trying them... and if so, which ones are best. thanks

Honestly, I don't even know what a corn looks like. This thing on my finger might be one, but feels more like a blister... won't go away all summer long as long as I'm wearing flip-flops

It happens because your skin keeps rubbing against something else, like a sandal strap or some other leather bit. Since skin’s got a little stretch to it, it doesn't just snap—it stretches out instead, and boom... you've got a blister. And why does it fill up with fluid? Honestly, I'm wondering that too.

As for fixing it—I don't know much about specific ointments, but from what I've seen, you shouldn't mess with it too much. If you tear the skin, you'll end up having to clip it off with scissors, and then you're looking at a total mess for a few days. Best bet is to just poke one or two tiny holes with a needle to let the fluid out. Do it a couple of times a day since it'll just refill anyway, but whatever you do, don't dig so deep that you have to cut the skin away.

(Wearing flip-flops always gives me a callus right by my fourth toe)

2. so Madonna is some guy, right? what was her deal... 😕

3. since you brought up holding it—that's what gets me most. I can't stand it. if I could just skip it, I wouldn't have a problem even if I had to go 7 times. I know some people can hold it for hours. how is that even possible?! 😕 (man, I'm jealous)

1. yeah, true. people have said that before, though I wasn't really trying here
2. Ernest Hemingway: Smells, gold, and incense. A stream-of-consciousness type thing, I guess. High school reading material. Pretty heavy stuff. The woman goes to war every 18 days.
3. I can handle peeing just fine, and I never get people who have to go every five minutes. (okay, maybe it's because I have that bad anxiety about going in public places, maybe that's why). and crap—yeah, I can handle that pretty well too.

Stana said:I can go 5 to 20 days on a single charge...

Good grief, what is wrong with you, Madonna...?

I used to stick to light meals at the exact same time every day: breakfast at 9, lunch at 1, dinner at 6. Digestion was killer—super fast. Best part was knowing exactly when I’d need to hit the restroom... It wasn't like a full-on emergency or anything, just that low-key urge where you could probably make it to a Starbucks before needing to go...

So now I’m eating everything in sight... and then it hits me. I'm gonna be shitting everything in sight too once I remember...
Stomach issues - help! in Health ·
Yeah, I’m joining the club. My acid reflux has been acting up like crazy lately—nausea, stomach pain, the whole deal... all because my nerves are shot. I’m super sensitive to stress, and my gut just reacts immediately. Interestingly, I don't have any ulcers (I had a GI specialist check me out about three years ago when this crap first started, maybe things shifted since then). The thing is, I’ve got zero appetite and my upper stomach is killing me. Now I’m stuck getting a mountain of tests done, and looks like an endoscopy is on the menu too. My doctor told me today to just pick up some Pepcid... thought I’d never be the type to use stuff like that.
Anyone know if there are different forms I should take? (If there are multiple versions, I remember those different types of shampoos, though I doubt it works the same way here)

But if Oliver starts cracking jokes about them, people will still show up for him. Just drop a link to the joke so I can see what the deal is. Maybe they actually are dark. Haven't heard a single one yet, so I can't really say...
(btw does this mean you're cool with the mob heading to Brenna since she doesn't make jokes about Americans or hold any extremist views?)
Douglas Reyes5 said:Look, I get it. People joke around, whatever... but it’s also totally normal if you don't want to show up to a gig for a band that mocks or hates your people..👎

But then again, Americans shouldn't be listening to music from our neighbors if that's the logic, right? But they do anyway. You gotta learn to take a joke sometimes. Though, obviously, you can't exactly trust a guy with extremist views when he claims he's just "joking" about us.
Douglas Reyes5 said:what American would actually show up to a concert for a band that spends their shows in neighboring states making jokes at our expense?! only total idiots...

hold up, hold up: we make plenty of jokes about Canadians, hippies, and people from Mexico too. so yeah, there’s gonna be jokes about Americans.
with Fish Soup, it’s that blatant nationalist vibe that bugs me. not like I'm some huge fan of their stuff anyway...

I’ve always got some Tylenol, Advil, or Voltaren on hand, plus some antibiotics—usually Amoxicillin. I also keep some muscle rub around for when I mess up my ankle.
I'm sleeping way too much, like 9 or even 10 hours a day.

SpiderMan said:The parties I hit always have some guy playing the accordion or a trumpet...😳

Classic. It's hilarious when you show up to a rager and only two guys can actually play, but the instruments they've got on hand are a total joke. Just waiting to stumble into a party where someone's rocking a harp and a banjo combo instead...

Carol Jackson45 said:Are you just thinking about playing those specific songs, or playing on the beach in general?

Does anyone even play anything else besides that stuff? Just remembered another one that’s perfect for the beach—"Born in the U.S.A."... that song has become totally unbearable because of all the amateur versions played at every single bonfire party...

ari peka nikkola said:Are there seriously still people playing guitar at beach bars??? I thought that died out back in my day.

Unfortunately, they haven't. And honestly, there's something even worse that hasn't died out either: hearing those same shitty songs being played on the boardwalk. I’d drop a hydrogen bomb on those crowds in a heartbeat...

Drew Adams58 said:Because some idiot always plays those two songs at parties. Just like when they play Billy Joel...

Party's over instantly. Amen

Man, you nailed it!🙏

The thing about Azra is spot on too. There’s plenty of other party anthems and artists that just make you want to gag. Like Far Coast is in that same vein. Seriously, if someone grabs a guitar and starts playing "Sea Witch," I’d instinctively smash that guitar over their head like in a movie... especially when everyone starts swaying and singing along🤮 🙂 🙂 🙂

from Bob Dylan😍 😍 😍 😍

I can't stand Bisev. I was at a concert by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra recently where they had already pre-arranged three encores. Absolute disaster! (They basically told the organizers beforehand there'd be three encores)
Yeah, Speculaas are the law. Honestly, for the last few months, I've been strictly on that crumbly chocolate biscuit diet... mostly Koestlin's Gingerbread Man because they're better than the rest with that orange peel bit.
