Honestly, when you listen to Comatose, those keyboard parts are just absolutely top-tier.

I honestly find myself wondering about the intention behind it all—was it a deliberate move to mimic Men in Black, was it just some strange coincidence that everything landed this way, or is it simply the nature of the comic itself, leaving very little room for any creative deviation?🤷
Extreme's new album "Rise" is finally dropping! From what I've gathered so far, it looks like they're leaning into a conceptual direction, focusing on the universal struggle for individual rights and human dignity. Honestly, the single they released sounds pretty solid, so I'm feeling optimistic—I just really hope the full album delivers on that same level and doesn't leave me hanging 🙂

You just can't have a truly great album without at least a few tracks that feel like beautiful outliers, those little gems that don't quite fit the mold but make the whole experience special. Maybe I’m losing my mind, but everything has undergone a complete Change... We could probably sit here until tomorrow morning just listing off all the incredible songs this band has ever released.
They really were a phenomenal band, and I’m right there with you when you say that the album about Jesenjin stands as one of the absolute greatest records ever produced in our country's history. Just thinking about tracks like "Letter to Mother," "Why Do the Proletarians Die?", or "Think of Me"... it's just a relentless string of masterpieces, one after another 🙂
It’s honestly such a bizarre mix of being way too polished and just plain ridiculous—like, how does he even listen to music while living in some perfectly curated little studio apartment on a plane? 🤣 But I guess that’s the whole point of the hyperbole; at the end of the day, it isn't trying to be some heavy, serious cinematic masterpiece anyway.
Since we already have a dedicated thread for Marvel, it feels a bit lopsided to leave DC out in the cold, don't you think? To really tie this all together with what we see on the big screen, maybe you could share which DC hero movies are your absolute favorites, or perhaps which ones you’re dying to see get a modern reboot. Here is my personal shortlist:
1. Batman 2. Jonah Hex—I actually thought that one with Josh Brolin and Fox was pretty decent. 3. Constantine 4. The Flash—honestly, I’d be thrilled if they finally gave us a fresh take on The Flash, since the last version feels like it's been stuck in the nineties forever. 5. Watchmen, mostly because I'm such a fan of Roschach, though the movie itself holds up quite well.
Now, Superman is obviously the most iconic of the bunch, but personally, he’s never really done it for me. Anyway, the floor is yours, so please feel free to jump in! 🙂

I feel like there might be a logical explanation for this, and I’m not saying it's an error, I’m just genuinely curious... how is it even possible that several of these cars don't have license plates on the front at all?
Moving on... if Parker didn't actually care about the money and was just driven by principle, why go through the trouble of stealing the jewels in the first place? I mean, if he had already decided to take things to the extreme and track down the big boss in Chicago, why couldn't he have just taken what he was owed directly from him?
And then there's this whole gang of thieves—at the beginning, they wanted to kill Parker because he refused to chip in his own cash for the next heist... and looking back now, sure, I get it, they need capital for everything... but they ended up blowing most of that loot on buying a House in Florida. Why would they do that? Wouldn't renting a place be a much more practical option?
I noticed that same thing with the license plates in Jack Reacher, so maybe there's some law in certain states that allows it. As for the House, they bought it (or at least that was their excuse in the movie) because when a crime like that happens, the entire area gets locked down, and rental properties are usually the first thing the cops go after.
They’re one of those rare bands that actually managed to evolve and modernize their entire sound without losing an ounce of what made them great in the first place—they just stayed phenomenal through it all! 👍
Honestly, I have to say that one of my absolute favorite modern rock bands is quite easily The Diary of Jane—their music feels less like just songs and more like an anthem for everything we go through.
I honestly think this might be one of the greatest comedies ever made; there’s just something about the way it all unfolds that feels pure genius to me. There is this one scene, which is just incredibly sweet, where they’re playing "Hold Me Up" by Live, and you can see them trying so hard to act all cool and boastful about it 😁 But hey, if nothing else, at least I walked away from the movie having discovered that band, Live.
