Following orders from the higher-ups, all those top-tier topics—including most of the PDFs—have been wiped out. All that’s left are some topic lists and whatever specific rules were tucked away in those individual files, if my memory serves me right 😬

My indicator never lights up for me.😁

silvergardener93 said:The 503 errors were popping up constantly regardless. Honestly, I think the main issue for most mods is just not being familiar with the Admin Panel; they end up wandering around aimlessly for twenty minutes when they don't even need to be in the Control Panel. Training matters just as much as the tech itself. What good is a jet if you don't know how to fly it?

If we actually had a jet, then we'd have something worth training for. But since the Admin Panel is so intuitive that my ten-year-old could figure it out while sitting next to me, I don't know what to tell you—if a kid can handle it, an adult definitely should be able to.
There isn't really any "wandering around" involved; everything you need to do takes maybe two minutes tops. It’s totally foolproof—just click, click, click, and you're done.

The moderators can't be everywhere at once—they aren't glued to their screens twenty-four hours a day, if you catch my drift.

Oh, of course we can—what else is there to do with our lives besides hang out here? We’re all so obsessed with this forum that we think we've basically "become gods" (or so I was told by someone who finally got banned for trolling after way too many warnings).☕

When you politely ask people to report things just because you don't want to be glued to your screen 24/7 or constantly quoting everyone, you get hit with some "I'm not a snowflake" attitude. Yet, they'll happily whine publicly about how everyone else gets away with murder while they'd get a ban or a strike for the exact same thing.

It’s much easier to play the victim than to actually do anything about it.🙄
If you spot a post that doesn't belong in the thread, just report it and move on.
Birth control and libido in Women's Health ·
gentlesurfer72 said:I have a question. A friend gave me some birth control pills and I took four of them. She told me they might just cause a little nausea and that instead of bleeding, they simply prevent a pregnancy from developing... Is that actually possible? I'm feeling a bit anxious, though I know she wouldn't lie to me; several of her friends use these pills and didn't bleed or get pregnant either. The tablets are a dark yellow color. Thanks!

What was your intention behind taking them—were you using them for regular contraception or as emergency contraception?

We all know that when you're living overseas, your keyboard doesn't have our specific accented letters. You might not realize it, but seeing "sc" or "sh" used instead of the proper characters can be pretty annoying to read. Some people here actually skip over posts because of it. Just stick to using plain C, S, or Z!
Thanks!

Honestly... I don't think any of us living abroad write like that, and since most of us hang out together here, it's rare. I did run into one person writing that way on my other PDF group—she wasn't even an expat—and I gave her a bit of a hard time because those typos bug me too.

So far, whenever I've seen that happen, the users were listed as being from back home (at least according to their location). I suspect some do it just out of habit, while a tiny percentage probably feel a sense of duty to "preserve" the spelling, but either way, there’s a massive difference in how it looks.
Navel piercings in Women's Health ·
Maria Sanchez59 said:It’s all pretty subjective because everyone's body reacts differently to a foreign object.
For instance, I wore a bandage on my navel for just a week or two simply so my shirt wouldn't snag it. I just cleaned it with saline solution and used a disinfectant spray. There was absolutely no redness or inflammation. But like I said, it varies from person to person.

I didn't have an issue either, but I still followed every single instruction my piercer gave me—plus I watched what other girls did when they skipped doses, and seeing how a belly button piercing looks once it gets infected (you wouldn't wish that on your worst enemy!) makes me want to advise everyone to follow the instructions until the very end, rather than just doing what they think is "fine."

Like you, everything went smoothly for me, but not for everyone. A colleague of mine thought she was doing great for nearly two months, but then it got inflamed. Honestly, my stomach turned just looking at it. When she went back to the shop, the guy just calmly told her, "I told you a belly piercing takes six months to heal, even if it doesn't look like it to the naked eye."🤷
Now she has a scarred navel and no piercing at all.

When is the right time for a piercing? Well, whenever you want, as long as you're fully aware that it requires constant care, otherwise, it’ll just get nasty and infected.

It’s such a shame because people can really mess up their bodies if they don't take care of their piercings properly. Honestly, without wanting to sound like I'm lecturing anyone, I think people need to do way more research than just thinking, "Oh, I want a piercing." I made sure to learn everything before I even thought about getting my own, and I did the exact same deep dive before I ever got tattooed.

You also really need to go visit tattoo and piercing studios in person to vet them. Ask all the questions you want and demand to see their setup; once you do that, you can rest easy knowing you picked a solid spot. Any self-respecting shop owner won't mind a million questions because they care about their reputation, and a great reputation is built on top-tier service and happy clients.
That’s actually why I always go to the same artist, and plenty of my friends have signed up too because they got a five-star experience from me.

To circle back to the first post, I personally love my piercing (though I wouldn't have gotten it if it weren't so easy to manage, hehe), but people really have to think this through. A belly button piercing doesn't fully heal for at least six months. For that first month, you basically have to keep it covered and apply Betadine regularly. It requires quite a bit of maintenance if you're being careful—I was cleaning mine and applying special bandages several times a day to prevent infection. Some people just neglect the care because everything looks perfect after a week, but when a navel piercing gets infected, let me tell you, it is incredibly painful.

But hey, to each their own.

Angela Wright said:🤷Maybe there’s a connection there, since I know quite a few girls who had belly button piercings during pregnancy and ended up with a totally stretched-out hole. One of my friends actually had a gap wide enough to stick her hand through. 😱

p.s. There isn't really such a thing as a medically approved or sufficiently sterile piercing... so... good luck.😁

Hehe, I have a piercing myself.
During pregnancy, you can wear specialized jewelry specifically designed for that situation; they cost a tiny bit more, but it's nothing extreme.
Good grief, that’s hardly a gynecological issue... if you ask me.

What kind of women's health issue could this be?

Personally, I don't bother with shaving right before a gynecologist appointment. I stick to a monthly routine once my period is over, and the idea of rushing to shave just for a checkup never even crosses my mind. To me, staying hygienic is far more significant than whether or not there's hair present or how long it is.

But honestly, just like any other woman who maintains a regular grooming routine, they’ll see that you take care of yourself. Even if you happen to catch them at an awkward time right after a session, it doesn't matter—what really counts is that you are clean.
To me, gender doesn't really matter. I felt a bit awkward during my first visit, but once you realize it’s just a routine procedure—much like a regular checkup at the dentist—you quickly get past that initial discomfort.

Sophia Garcia3 said:It's unbelievable; I just don't get these flower-obsessed lunatics. I'm fairly certain there should be some rule that bans that little Daisy—forgive me, DAISY (good grief, the illiteracy!)—and her husband from participating, but if such a rule doesn't exist, I suggest we smart people band together and simply ignore their posts. Hopefully, they'll eventually realize they aren't interesting and stop clogging up the space with miles of nonsense.
After this plea, I need some advice: my husband and I have been trying for a baby for the last two years, and we're about to start IVF. Can anyone send me a link that explains everything in detail? I've heard that even for married couples, the whole process is going to be a complete nightmare involving a million different certifications and permits.
Nothing in this country is normal anymore; honestly, my heart goes out to everyone who chooses to live in a common-law marriage, only to be persecuted as if they were criminals.

Don't let Daisy get to you; I wasn't online at the time, but I trust our colleague was keeping an eye on the PDF.

casualjackal28 said:I don't want to be paranoid about yeast infections or STIs, but I'm going to schedule an appointment with my OB-GYN just to be safe.
Could it just be that my body wash was too harsh and caused some irritation?

Whether you're worried or not doesn't change the facts; discharge and itching are classic indicators of inflammation. It might not be anything serious, but it definitely signals that something is off.
