2018 Car Reveal and Pre-season Testing in Formula 1 ·
Ford looks great with that new livery, but looking good doesn't mean they're actually the fastest car on the grid. They’ll need to be totally dominant, similar to how things were back in 2002 or 2004, if Lewis Hamilton is going to pull off a championship win in it.

Even if Williams manages to get a decent car, they aren't going to see any real results because their driver lineup is just a disaster.
I think Robert De Niro killed it as Al Capone in Untouchable, though he definitely didn't get enough screen time since the movie focused so heavily on that specific role. Still, that opening scene and the one where he uses the baseball bat to take out that guy were pure genius. I also feel like he was fantastic in Analyze This and Meet the Parents—he really showed off his comedic timing there, even if the other two movies felt a bit forced...
In my opinion, Godfather 2 is incredible. I’m really impressed by the sense of calm authority he brings to the role; you can clearly see how the character evolves from what we saw in Godfather. Plus, the way he handles all that Italian dialogue is so seamless and authentic, you'd never guess it wasn't his native language.
Looking at this epic Marvel release schedule through 2020 just makes me feel completely overwhelmed...🤦

The stewards went over Hamilton's telemetry following that mess with Vettel. Turns out, he didn't hit the brakes or even ease off much. He basically held a steady speed, acting exactly the same during that specific restart as he did during the previous two...

Shouldn't Vettel have been slapped with a black flag for intentionally ramming another car under the safety car...?

Here’s the proof that Vettel just isn't paying attention during restarts. Even in regular street traffic, the person behind is always the one at fault...

This isn't the first time Sebastian Vettel has plowed into the car ahead during a safety car period. About nine or ten years ago, he took out Mark Webber at Monza under Ross Brawn's leadership, then about five years ago, he nearly slammed into Jenson Button in Singapore, and back in 2012 in Abu Dhabi, he almost hit a driver for Rosso. So, if you draw your own conclusions about who is responsible for this crash, his behavior immediately afterward just proves what kind of nasty character we're dealing with—which is exactly why he earned that black flag.
I see the betting odds have already dropped on Hamilton being a half-point favorite at 1.30, while Vettel is sitting at 8. Personally, I still think taking that bet makes sense. These practice times aren't really indicative of anything yet. Plus, you have to consider Hamilton's comments—especially what he said at yesterday's press conference when he claimed Ferrari is definitely the fastest team right now. It seems like Vettel and the others are just trying to dodge the hype, but everything comes to light tomorrow at seven...
mellowtiger83 said:It depends on how much they favor Lewis Hamilton. Personally, I’d put Sebastian Vettel at 50%, Kimi Räikkönen at 20%, Lewis at 25%, and Valtteri Bottas at 5%.

Look at this: Alonso vs Sergio Perez at 1.8 for qualifying 🙂. Honestly, what idiots. It's Honda versus Mercedes.

Is there any actual logic here other than pure incompetence on their part for setting such high odds? Alonso is already warning us about an incredibly tough weekend, and the press is claiming McLaren's comeback is nothing short of pure magic from Huodinijev, so I don't see why I shouldn't drop at least a grand on this.
What do you guys think? Is it worth placing a serious bet on Sebastian Vettel this weekend before the odds drop?

It’s possible Ricciardo gets the seat, but he’ll likely end up at Ferrari to take Vettel's spot, which means Vettel might just hang it up...
Upgrading my old PC for gaming in Desktops ·
So, I’m still on the fence about a few things and could really use some advice. Regarding the GPU, my first pick is the ATI Radeon RX 470, but I'm also looking at the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Turbo 6GB or the AMD Radeon RX 470 8GB, which would cost about $300-$400 more. Is it actually worth dropping an extra $133 on those? As for the CPU, I'm leaning toward the Intel Core i5 6400, but I'm considering the i5 6600 at 3.5 GHz too—is it worth paying $133 more for that jump? My goal is to have a rig capable of running games at Full HD on High-Ultra settings for at least the next 2-3 years, so please keep that in mind. Thanks!

Timothy Kim60 said:Xilence is mediocre at best, but I can't tell which specific model you're looking at. What does the label say?

I'd go with an Intel Core i5 6400 or an i5 6402p (whichever is cheaper at a local retailer), paired with a budget H110 motherboard using DDR4, and 8GB of DDR4—just grab the cheapest option there. As for the power supply, you'll need to check that, but otherwise, put as much of your budget as possible into the GPU. Honestly, it might be best to wait until the big sales after the holidays; last time, they had the best deals on GPUs and those i5 chips, so once they restock, you'll see what's available.

Thanks for the info! So, based on what you're saying, I should probably pick up a new power supply too?

I think the Xilence unit is 500W, so 8GB of RAM should be plenty. Which motherboard would pair best with that processor, or would it be a better move to go with the Intel Core i5 6400 Box on the LGA 1151 socket at 2.7GHz along with its matching board? Also, regarding the graphics card, is there a better value out there, or maybe something cheaper? Would the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GDDR5 4GB/128bit actually be a smarter pick since it’s significantly less expensive?

So, I’ve been thinking about picking up a new PC, but then it hit me: it would actually be way more cost-effective to just grab a new motherboard, processor, graphics card, and RAM, and then drop them straight into my old rig. Since the resale value of my current setup covers most of those parts—plus I can keep my existing hard drive, power supply, case, and monitor—I'd save a ton compared to buying an entirely new system from scratch. Right now, I'm running an Intel Dual Core E7200, 4GB of DDR2 memory, an old Gigabyte motherboard from back in 2008, and a slightly newer AMD Radeon HD 7700 series card. I’d love to hold onto my current GPU if possible, but I'm guessing even with a new CPU and RAM, it won't cut it for what I need. My budget is roughly $550–$600, and my goal is to run the latest games on High to Ultra settings at 1080p without any stuttering. Here are the components I'm looking at... I'm curious to hear your thoughts on whether this is the smartest way to go.

Graphics Card: Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 470 G1 Gaming, 4GB DDR5, HDMI, DP, DVI
Motherboard: ASUS H110M-R/C/SI, Socket 1151, microATX
Processor: Intel Core i5 4460 Box, Socket 1150, 3.2GHz, 6MB cache, GPU, Quad Core
Memory: PC-17000 Memory, 16 GB, G.SKILL Ripjaws V series, F4-2133C15D-16GVR, DDR4 2133MHz, kit 2x8GB

It looks like the big boss thought he snagged a 51% stake when he actually only bought 49%. Once Štetner started going wild with that cash—hitting up races and doing all those interviews—Jergović apparently got a little jealous and started pushing back. So, Štetner just kicked him to the curb since he still holds that 51% majority...

It’s definitely Šerbedžija. He has by far the most impressive career in American cinema, especially looking at his work abroad. When you compare pure acting talent, he really stands out above Šovagović, Gregurević, or Dvornik. If he isn't topping the all-time greatest lists, it's probably just because of his heritage...
As long as these kinds of movies keep printing money, they’re going to stay afloat—even if they are absolute garbage. We'll probably see this trend peak over the next 5 to 10 years, and then in maybe 20 or 30 years, the next generation will look back at us and think we were just as narrow-minded as we currently feel about those cheesy trash flicks from the 80s.
