It could totally be fungi... honestly, that’s pretty "normal" and happens all the time... You'll probably just get some cream or those vaginal suppositories and you'll be fine 😉
I’ve tried that Fact cream before—you get a little sample tube included 😲 and it definitely helped at first, but the results just didn't stick... Eventually, I actually cleared everything up using this herbal balm... Check it out here I also heard that some essential oils work wonders.
Honestly, I’m not really sure how to help you out with this one. 😢 Maybe try checking out the psychology subreddits instead—might get you better answers there. 🤷
I'm heading over to a dermatologist in Columbus, and honestly—I'm super happy with the results. I probably shouldn't drop the doctor's name here though, since I don't want this to look like some random ad 🤷
hey, can i just ask—why would you even bother standing there? maybe there's another way to handle this... one where you don't have to stay put at all. 😕
fainted 😬 that's really it. my blood work came back totally fine—I've never even had a headache in my life, and the eye doctor said everything looks perfect... but now there's an EEG and a CT scan on the table.. 😲😲
Rebecca Thomas said:how long did that last for you? — honestly, I feel like mine is all in my head... because there are days when I actually feel fine. was it just that weird sensation in your brain? everything else feels pretty normal for me
Oh gosh, don't panic... it doesn't mean you have epilepsy too. I was really just trying to suggest getting some other tests done, just to be safe..
Get an EEG, a CT, maybe even an MRI... Honestly, those will tell you way more about what's actually going on than some eye exam or basic blood work ever could... ..because my labs all came back totally fine, too—but those specific scans were the only things that actually caught my epilepsy...
Kimberly Davis52 said:Man, thank god we have forums now—back in my day, 🤣 people would write letters to those advice columns in magazines like *Seventeen*. It was always like, "Dear Abby, I've got this weird discharge thing going on, please don't just tell me to see a doctor." By the time they actually answered the letter in the next issue... well, you get the idea.

Maybe she's just dealing with a yeast infection? 😕 🤷 If that's what it is, it’s really no big deal. She just needs to hit up her OB-GYN, get some cream, and she'll be fine in a few days.👍 The only weird part is that it's soaking through her clothes too.😕 😕 Anyway—don't mess around... she should definitely call the doctor first thing Monday morning.😉
Susan Vaughn46 said:Advil is a total lifesaver! Honestly, I don't know how I'd get through those days without it...
👍👍👍👍 Totally agree... Sometimes I’ll take some a few days early—right before my period hits—and either the pain is non-existent or it's barely even noticeable 🙂
Peter Thomas23 said:A real tragedy is working at a shipyard in Detroit and not getting paid for three months... that's a tragedy... what you're dealing with now? That's just the fallout from some reckless decisions, and now you're looking to us for answers. When you were being reckless, you weren't asking anyone for advice—you thought you had it all figured out. Sorry, but nobody here can fix this for you, and honestly, I'm not even going to touch the subject of "what if" someone gets hurt... look, I'm not judging you or anything... but regarding those "what now" problems—being 19, having a kid, figuring out how to move forward—well, if you'd been more careful or actually listened to common sense, we wouldn't be here. It's like they say—you turn out how you were raised. Just realize you've stepped into the adult world now, and there's no going back from whatever happens next. You're officially different from your peers now, no matter what. You've crossed a line you can't uncross, and someone needs to be blunt with you about that... basically—WELCOME TO ADULTHOOD AND THE MESSES WE ALL DEAL WITH.
I’ve honestly never been a coffee drinker. It just doesn't hit the spot for me—simple as that. I make sure to have at least one cup of green tea every single day. The only awkward part is when I head out for "coffee" with my girls during those brutal summer heatwaves, and the server comes by—they all order coffee, but in 90-degree weather, I'm just like, "I'll take a tea," 😬 and the guy looks at me like I'm totally messing with him. 🙄 ..but seriously, I can't imagine catching up with my friends without having some tea in hand... It's just a habit, I guess.. 😉
I'm with you on this. Go back for another checkup—just tell your OBGYN exactly what you told us here. They'll probably give you a much closer look to figure out what's actually going on.
Wait, what just happened? Are you okay—like, did you start bleeding? Did you get checked out by a doctor yet? Where are you at in the cycle right now? 😕😕😕
Maybe glasses would help—I don't know 🤷 but even then... she’d have to take them off eventually, you can't just live in the dark or wear them 24/7. Did the little one get an EEG done? Have they sent her for any other scans? Like an MRI, or anything else? What was the basis for the epilepsy diagnosis?
I totally feel you—my parents still can't even bring themselves to say the word "epilepsy." My mom actually thinks it was a medical mistake; she even dragged me to see alternative practitioners, but I'm slowly just accepting it... what else can I do? I asked my neurologist if there's any chance of getting off the meds, and she just said it's only possible if there are two or three years without any seizures.
No problem at all. Really glad I could help out even just a little... 🙂
Just one more thing—once she actually starts the medication, things should start looking up, and the risk of those episodes happening will drop way down. They usually ease her in on the dosage so her body can get used to it. It’s going to be okay, seriously, don't stress too much 🙂
I totally forgot to ask though—how often are these "attacks" actually happening, and did you notice any specific triggers? (Only if you've been keeping track!)
Quick tip: maybe try posting this over in the "Parents & Kids" section, or just ask the mods to move it there for you. I'm sure you'll get way more specific advice there—the moms in that group are honestly wonderful. 🙂
