Wait, I am seriously hearing for the first time that the word "Eclecticism" carries this negative connotation right out of the gate?! confused: I mean, look, Optimo and Annie are basically legends... their mixtapes are incredibly eclectic, and honestly, that is PRECISELY why I’m such a huge fan🙂They just throw everything into the mix—post-punk, new wave, Motown, disco, click house, garage, funk, early electronic stuff... they don't follow any damn rules, and you know what? It sounds amazing. I am dying to know what their San Francisco playlist looks like👍
I really hope that was Optimo spinning some Tigersushi tracks?! Because if that’s what you call a set, then I guess we're finally seeing some actual Eclecticism in action...😍
On top of sets from Chemical Brothers, Garbage and Snoop Dogg, we’re also getting Soulwax, Roots Manuva, 2ManyDJs, James Murphy – DFA Records, LCD Soundsystem, Ellen Allien, Gus Gus, Cash Money, Common, Optimo and Annie on the lineup.

Are you actually kidding me right now...? Seriously...?😲 They were supposed to play in Chicago, but then the drummer gets sick—because drummers always find some way to screw everything up...😁... honestly, I think album Leaf is actually pretty damn good... :/
Total waste of tickets, what a joke. Absolute waste of my time, honestly. And don't you dare suggest I couldn't have made it... 😠 I mean, so far, it’s easily the best dead-end show in Seattle, right up there with Acid Mothers Temple playing at the Hollywood Palladium in LA.
Herbert—what an absolute fraud, if he wasn't so damn talented otherwise!😠
I’m pretty sure I saw someone post a specific command on here once that would let you fix this whole mess right through the start > Run dialog... does anyone remember where that was?

Word on the street is about 4,000. The only thing that really threw me off was how static the band was on stage... it felt like such a weird contrast to their music and honestly, to the crowd too. I mean, it was a great show overall (aside from that awkward moment at the end of the first encore), even if the Pixies aren't exactly the band I grew up listening to during my teenage years. 😁 You could tell how much they still mean to people, though... especially to Americans. 😁👋
Honestly, maybe a quarter of it actually lands, but even then... it’s just plain boring. Regarding that whole Cafe de Flore vibe—I was never really a huge fan of Gotan Project anyway. 😁
Herbert really should have just called it quits right after Bodily Functions. That was the absolute peak of his career, the mountaintop, and he should've just stayed there... And this latest stuff—this unnecessary history of Doctor Rockit—it honestly feels like he’s just spinning his wheels because he has nothing left to do. :/
Ugh, chill out, May 6th is still a ways off, so just hold your horses. Why is everyone getting so worked up? 🙂
As for Siddarth or Psycho-Path... honestly, both aren't exactly what I'd call "good," but if I had to choose, the first option is definitely the lesser of two evils. Anyway, we can always hang out a bit longer and grab a cold beer at petit cafe. 🙂 😁
A lady working at Križanko was just telling me that the Pixies are probably going to be here😁, even though nothing is officially signed yet. If this actually happens, word is tickets will hit the market around mid-April. Keep this thread locked for another month...😛
Seriously, the concert scene in New York City is still such a total joke... just a complete disaster.😁 It honestly feels like everything is being rigged to screw over Americans in favor of people from Minneapolis for one reason or another—whether we're talking about big policy issues or just how these tours are booked. Take Califone, for example; they decided to play Minneapolis instead. I might actually make the trip out there tonight, just to see what the hell is going on. 😉
Don't let them get to you, man!! 🙂 Honestly, you just have to go through life with a "yes" mentality... (I can't for the life of me remember who actually said that, but someone did...) 🙂
