Kill Bill Vol. 1 in Movies ·
driftingowl27 said:Honestly, the one thing I was really banking on from this flick is that Tarantino—since he’s such an unapologetic devotee of those old-school Kung Fu classics—would totally ditch those Matrix-style vibes that are just so insanely chic even someone like Justin Timberlake had to borrow them for a music video.

🙂

But hey, we're talking about the guy who gave us Pulp Fiction, Four Rooms, and Reservoir Dogs!
I've got a feeling this movie is going to be incredible. I seriously can't wait!
Paranoid said:You should totally borrow "Mothman's Prophecies"—honestly, it’s easily the best movie I’ve seen all year.

It really is an awesome film! My only tiny gripe is that you can see the ending coming from a mile away—but hey, since it's based on a true story, what can you do? It's just how it happened!
Definitely give it a watch!

Since when aren't Mexicans a people?? 🙄 😠

* - oh boy, here we go again 😁

Hey, I'll be the first to admit I messed up there! Mexicans are a nation just as much as anyone else.

No way in hell.

Wait, would you actually call Balašević a country singer?

Don't even sweat it—brunettes with implants are totally making a comeback!
Being John Malkovich in Movies ·
I remember that movie, though it’s all a bit hazy in my mind right now.

It had this whole trippy concept involving an entrance on the 13th or 14th floor of some building—which actually served as the gateway into John Malkovich's head!

I think I absolutely loved it when I first saw it, even if the details are a little fuzzy today—I'm definitely going to have to give it another watch whenever I get a free moment!

Ethan Jones42 said:Led Zeppelin is just way too overrated—all those bloated love ballads and those desperate attempts at mimicking the blues, not to mention those ridiculous climaxes they try to squeeze into every single track. "Stairway to Heaven" was probably the biggest song in the world back then and honestly, it still kind of is... I mean, it’s easily one of the most popular tracks ever produced, but let's be real, it isn't some weeping, heart-wrenching dirge; it's actually a great, aggressive song about real life, rather than all that nonsensical garbage that has zero connection to reality! I mean, seriously... and look, it's not like I don't vibe with it sometimes, but you just can't compare it to actual, authentic blues. If anything, it's more like listening to cheesy country pop. It's the exact same thing—people listen to it at parties, when they're drunk, when they're sad, or when they're just having a rough time...
They play fine, sure, but they aren't nearly as good as AC/DC.

AC/DC RULES you uneducated morons

Zeppelin is totally overrated, no question about it.

The guy from AC/DC has a voice that could literally tear your ears off!

Hey, wait—you’re telling me there’s no Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside?! Are you kidding me? That track is an absolute legend!

Wait, seriously? Are you telling me not a single one of their tracks even cracked the chart?!
I mean, "Sultans of Swing" is an absolute classic...

Ethan Jones42 said:Look, I honestly think Kurt Cobain totally deserves that top spot. I haven't even bothered looking at the full list, but if I did, he’d be number one for me too. And honestly, what kind of uncultured idiots are you guys to call him anything less than a legend? You should all be bowing down! You clearly have zero clue what real music sounds like. Sure, Zeppelin is good, but who in their right mind puts some American folk-rockers at the very top? It’s just the same old stuff—whining about eternal love, metaphor, love, metaphor, the scent of love, metaphor, guitar solos, metaphor, the sound of love, solos, metaphors, eternal love, beautiful women, metaphors, more solos. Kurt started something huge—he's the king of everything—and you guys aren't even worthy. You just don't get it. Even Deep Purple and AC/DC are better than Zeppelin.

Yeah, well, I’d put him at number one too... if he wasn't so overhyped. Honestly, that song deserves a higher spot than some artists who didn't even make the list at all!
AC/DC better than Zeppelin? Hey, they can be your favorite, but calling them *better*... that's a stretch...

Aliens is 🙄 😲

And there was this one desperate flick too—I think it was called Dead Star or something along those lines.

Kevin Chavez3 said:You’re clueless, narrow-minded, and just plain wrong. Even if technical skill actually meant anything when it comes to musical quality—which it doesn't—at least two members of The Clash were phenomenal instrumentalists (Mick Jones and Topper Headon), and the other two were more than good enough. I honestly don't care if you love the band or not, but I can't stand know-it-alls acting like experts on something they clearly don't understand. So, beat it!

Seriously though, why on earth wouldn't The Clash deserve those spots?

Ethan Perez97 said:Are you kidding me right now... seriously, are you actually being for real with this???

Look, I had to pick something specific to show what was missing from the list—and Him just happened to be playing in my ears at that exact moment! It was pure coincidence, I swear.. first listen and boom.

Ethan Perez97, don't tell me U2, R.E.M., or Public Enemy don't deserve their spots either?

Alex Martinez4 said:I mean, seriously, it's unbelievable! Honestly, those folk artists are way easier on the ears. At least they actually make sense!

Hehehehe!

Kevin Chavez3 said:But wait, doesn't Thompson play rock?

What does Thompson even play?! 😁

Come on now—don't go coming for my favorites like Stairway to Heaven, Hotel California, Smoke on the Water, and Wish You Were Here!

I went ahead and voted for 4 groups. 😁

Honestly? It’s pretty mediocre. I mean, sure, having three R.E.M. tracks in the top 50 is fine, but they completely left out Riverside! How do you even do that?
"Smells Like Teen Spirit"... yeah, it's a classic, I guess, but it’s nothing special to me. Just another radio staple.

And there isn't a single Elvis song on here... seriously? This is just terrible...

Come on, let’s be real—Chuck Norris would definitely make a better "God" than Morgan Freeman!

You guys have totally lost it. Kuruza? Seriously, how old are you people? Are you 150 years old or just hitting your 200th birthday?

If U2 is considered Kuruza, then Led Zeppelin are basically total garbage, so I think you all know exactly what I'm getting at here.
