If you honestly think being pale is the only sign of anemia, then you’re pretty much barking up the wrong tree. I mean, I’m naturally pale too, and it's not even like I have a fair complexion—I'm just genuinely washed out. My face never really flushes or anything, like, ever. Plus, I deal with heavy periods, so I went ahead and got my bloodwork done just to be safe, and everything actually came back totally fine.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get lab results back from the clinic? A few of us got ours right away while the baby was still in the hospital, and the discharge papers mentioned an allergy to penicillin, some kind of C50 rheumatoid factor thing, and something else starting with a C that was still being processed. Well, it’s been a month and a half now and we haven’t received anything in the mail. I'm kind of stuck—should I just call them up and see what's going on?
