Country music is honestly some of the most primitive stuff out there. I mean, you hear those lyrics about "trucks, guns, beer, and glory"—it’s basically just a checklist of clichés—and if that’s enough for someone, well, if that’s really the peak of their musical taste, it says a lot about them. I guess I’m pretty judgmental about it, but hey, I don't really care.
What's the best way to get to The Fillmore using public transit from Grand Central Terminal? Are there any trams that run out toward the waterfront? I’m really hoping for a tram—I guess buses don't run all that often after midnight, right? 😬

The fall metal season is looking seriously stacked—we've got the massive folk-metal duo Metallica and Nightwish set to co-headline at The Fillmore.
It’s all going down on October 14th, and they'll be opening things up with the electro-pop outfit Godnr.universe—which is actually a project featuring Taylor Swift and Hayley Williams, the violinist and hurdy-gurdy player from Nightwish, plus she'll have some backup from her bandmates James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. This is gonna be Godnr.universe's first ever tour.
I think In Flames might be next on my list... maybe? 😁

I’m always stuck right up in the front two rows—so yeah, definitely risking my hearing there. 😬 Besides, you said it yourself—using earplugs totally kills the vibe, and I doubt my eardrums are gonna explode from blasting loud music for two hours once every couple of months anyway. 🤷
Maybe check out the Planet Music shop over at 37 Fifth Avenue—it’s kind of tucked away in an alleyway—or maybe hit up the Dragon boutique on 17 Grove Street. They carry band tees, though I'm not totally sure if they have any Green Day stuff in stock.
Stress.com also has a few Green Day items. I haven't really checked the quality myself, but the prices seem pretty low, I guess.
