Is your Wi-Fi actually turned on on the laptop? Is the indicator light even lit?
EDIT: Wait, hold on, this is a microtower, not a laptop? Are you even sure there’s a Wi-Fi adapter installed? Wireless card is optional in a microtower...

If you're actually planning to play on High in three or four years—assuming that's even a realistic goal—just grab the NVIDIA GTX 1060. It fits your budget anyway, and you can probably swing the 8GB model.
Any news on Windows updates or Logitech drivers lately? A bunch of people have been linking this to the PC slipping into some kind of "halfway" sleep mode... one guy even mentioned he’s fine while he’s moving his mouse, even if it's just idling while he plays Mortal Kombat on a controller, but the second the mouse stays still for a minute or two, his FPS absolutely tanks 🤷
Maybe dig through your sleep mode or power saving settings to see if anything looks "off"
Looks like you aren't the only one dealing with this. It’s like everyone who owns this specific controller is hitting the same wall... I’ve seen plenty of threads online about it, but honestly, nobody seems to have actually fixed it yet.
So, are you running this on a laptop or a desktop? What kind of specs are we looking at?
I'm asking because it feels weird that the controller could be the culprit... before jumping to conclusions about the PC itself or some background process hogging resources, like a Windows Update running in the background...

They're both decent, but even though the one at Halekova has a bigger SSD, the Flatronov model has better graphics... so I'm thinking it’s the better bet for gaming.
Either move those icons up one line or just set the taskbar to auto-hide—you know, that setting where it stays out of the way until you hover your mouse over it...

Anything else is basically just flushing money down the toilet. If you're sticking to 1080p, swapping out the GTX 970 isn't going to give you any noticeable jump.
Don't go chasing complex builds 😵 Just hit us up when you're ready to buy, and the crew will put together the best setup for whatever budget you throw at them 👍
It’s not too early to say you're right about avoiding Windows 10 if you don't want the headache. 🤔 On Windows 10, you get both DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 support, whereas Windows 7 is mostly stuck with DX9 and DX11, for example. What kind of rig are you even buying, and what's the damage to your wallet?
DirectX 12 games are just starting to pop up... and DX11 isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
