Hi there... so, I ended up picking up two identical phones recently—one for myself and one for a close friend—but since I bought them both at once, things have become a bit of a muddle. Now that they’re sitting here in front of me, I’ve somehow managed to mix up the warranty paperwork, and I'm feeling a little lost trying to figure out which document belongs to which device. It turns out the serial number on the physical phone doesn't seem to match the one printed on the warranty sheet, so I'm stuck wondering how I can verify which is which? The thing is, I actually need to return one of them because it’s malfunctioning,

The system is reporting it as unknown within those settings, though I really wouldn't go as far as blaming the SIM card itself, since whenever I power the thing up, it still asks me for my PIN just like it's supposed to...
I have a quick question regarding my Noe H6 phone. I’ve noticed that I can't make any calls or send or receive text messages at all, even though everything else on the device seems to be working perfectly fine. I did notice a little notification in the corner of the screen saying "Invalid IMEI"—could that be the culprit? Does anyone know the easiest way to fix this? I actually just picked the phone up today from the Best Buy store, and I promise it isn't stolen, heavens forbid! I just bought it fresh off the shelf. Thanks so much, and happy New Year to everyone!
Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this? I'm trying to figure out how to get this specific device back up and running in my Device Manager, which is actually pretty essential for my setup here.
"This device is currently not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
To resolve this issue, please reconnect the device to the computer."
I feel like I've tried every trick in the book, from checking the cables to restarting everything, but nothing seems to be working...
I’m honestly not quite sure where the best place to direct this inquiry might be, so I figured I would just post it here and see if anyone can help me out...
For the last few years, I’ve been relying on WinZip because it was free and I managed to find a registration code online, which worked perfectly fine until yesterday. While I was in the middle of burning some movies, my computer suddenly shut down on me—twice, actually—and then by yesterday evening, it just wouldn't boot back up at all. It was quite a headache, to say the least. Does anyone happen to have a recommendation for a similar program that handles burning movies? Ideally, I'm looking for something that supports subtitles, or even movies without them, offers multiple language tracks, and—this is a big one for me—features an American English interface or at least easy-to-navigate menus at the start of the DVD. Thanks so much in advance for any advice you can share.
So, I’ve been away from my laptop for quite a while now, and I only just finally powered it back up this August...
I'm using an HP, running Windows 10...
If I recall correctly, the system was prompting me last week to run some updates, so I went ahead and let those finish installing...
Then yesterday, for the first time in ages, I actually tried to burn a movie to a disc, and thank God it worked perfectly fine on the first try. But when I went to reload it just to double-check everything was okay, the drive wouldn't cooperate at all—I had to play it straight from the DVD. Now, today, the drive seems to have given up entirely; it was giving me a few error messages earlier this morning, but now it’s just complete silence... I'm honestly at a bit of a loss as to what to do next...🤣🤣🤣
I was really hoping to get some more movies burned today... please, if anyone has any advice, I'd truly appreciate the help.
My tablet is currently showing me this message—I actually deleted the Reddit App by accident—and now I can't seem to download it for free anymore. Is it actually possible that the free version isn't available to me anymore and I’m forced to pay for it? It just keeps prompting me to install the Pro version instead of the standard one.

Then I hit it with an antibacterial wipe (I usually just grab the ones from Walmart, but honestly, they're everywhere)
This is how I’ve been cleaning my laptop for years, literally forever👍
And obviously, you gotta have the laptop turned off while you're scrubbing it, duh.
What does that attachment even look like? Is it one of those wide ones meant for floors or something?
What’s the absolute easiest way to get my laptop keyboard clean? I’m really hoping to find a method where I don't have to actually pop all the keys off—I honestly don't have the patience to spend hours hunched over with a tiny little brush trying to pick out every single speck of dust...
Does anyone have a solid suggestion, a bit of advice, or maybe even a tried-and-true "recipe" for doing this properly? Please, help me out here!

It looks wonderful.
I caught a glimpse of it... it looks absolutely stunning, much like what they did with Dumbo... I'm genuinely looking forward to both The Lion King and Dumbo...
Thomas Sanchez30 said:Yeah, that’s just one of those older Disney's remakes; they have a whole catalog of them.
I haven't sat down to watch every single one they've put out, but I have to say, the 2016 version really blew me away. It’s actually quite striking. There is even another film based on the same book coming out next year—it's called Mowgli—and from what I've heard, it’s going to be much darker and more intense than this Disney's version.
Honestly, I think it's definitely better than that 2016 one... I don't know how to explain it, but the 2016 version just gives me this lingering sense of unease, almost like it's a bit unsettling to watch... 🙂
It's certainly a fascinating topic to dive into... 👍
I really have a soft spot for those live-action remakes that actually stay true to the original animation... It’s such a relief when they don't just take a classic and turn it into some completely unrelated story, like that Beauty and the Beast situation, though I have to admit, I couldn't help but watch that one too...
I've spent quite a bit of time sitting through those kinds of adaptations...
Which makes me wonder, since there was already that 1994 book about the jungle, right? :nezna:

Optical media is pretty much a sunset technology at this point—it reminds me a bit of the old floppy disk days when you’d pull one or two out of a box and they just wouldn't work right... Between the tech being on its way out, the thin profit margins leading to looser quality control, maybe some aging lasers in the players, or who knows what kind of questionable storage conditions they went through... any little hiccup just turns into a total error.
It feels a little strange, though, because Verbatim is such a respected name—I mean, their Crystal Day stuff works flawlessly these days—so seeing a 20% failure rate feels high, but I suspect all those factors are exactly why it's happening.
Like I mentioned earlier, I haven't actually burned anything in years, but I recently tried helping my neighbor out with something; I dug up some old Verbatim discs (let me think, what was the specific model again...?), and they worked perfectly on the first try.
Nowadays, USB sticks fail almost daily; it's really not worth the headache trying to overanalyze the reasons why.
By the way, I'm a ConvertXtoDVD 3 user myself, but thankfully I moved past that ages ago; the bigger struggle now is just finding a device that can play everything and actually connect to a modern screen without a fuss...
🙂 So it's not me, it's not my computer, or anything else... it's just the CD? 🙂 Well, alright then...
I'm using Verbatim DVD-Rs, and my laptop is an HP... I usually stick with ConvertXtoDVD 3 to handle the burning process, but honestly, the software itself shouldn't be the issue here... It’s just that whenever I grab a different batch of DVD-Rs from that same manufacturer and run them through the exact same program, they burn perfectly every single time. It leaves me wondering, though—if I have a spindle of 25 discs, why does it feel like maybe five of them just refuse to work? I can't quite wrap my head around what might be causing such a hit-or-miss result with the media.
Whenever I pop a DVD into the drive and try to "open" it up or mess around with the settings, the system just refuses to show me the storage capacity or that little progress bar that tracks how much space I've actually used. It’s just like nothing is even there at all... which is incredibly frustrating because when I swap it out for a different disc, everything works perfectly fine as expected.
Well, I suppose everything is pretty much laid out right there in the title, but I’m running into a bit of a wall here. Every time I try to load them in to burn something, nothing shows up on my screen and the burning process just won't even start. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening, or if there's actually a way to fix it?
Hey there... I was wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction regarding which software—ideally something free—is the most reliable for downloading entire Facebook albums directly onto my macOS machine? I'm trying to get organized with some old photos and I'd really appreciate a quick tip if you have one handy...
It’s entirely possible you aren't actually looking at an editable text file, but rather just a static image that Microsoft Word can't manipulate... I mean, I remember once trying to fix a contract for work and realizing I was fighting against a flattened JPEG instead of a real document. Maybe try converting one of your own files first; that way, you'll be able to tell if the software is acting up or if it's just that specific document being difficult.
