I’m trying to use my iOS phone as a webcam for Zoom, but man, this is driving me absolutely insane. I went ahead and downloaded two different setups to try this out: “Webcamoid” and “Wowebcam” on my phone, plus their matching desktop clients on my computer. So, I fire up “Webcamoid” on my phone and the client on my PC (type in the ID...), hit connect, and boom—nothing. Just gets hit with an "Invalid App version! You need to update Webcamoid on your phone" error message. What gives? I literally just grabbed the latest version straight from https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...7apps.droidcam
Then, when I try switching gears and using “Wowebcam” on the phone with its client on the computer, I just get stuck on “Error: Fail to connect to server.“ Does anyone actually know what the deal is here, or better yet, can someone point me toward an app that actually works without the headache?

Nah, when I turn my computer on, all I see is this: Choose operating system to start -earlier version of Windows -Windows 7
Just a heads-up, I used to have two different OSs running—Windows 8 and Windows 7—but I wiped Windows 8 off the drive, so now it's just Windows 7 sitting there alone.
I'm honestly stuck here. I went into Control Panel \ User Accounts and Family Safety \ User Accounts \ Manage Accounts \ Change an Account but now I'm just staring at the screen... What am I even supposed to do next?
So I've got this one program that scans my PC, and once it finishes up, I hit fix it now, but it just shuts me down because it says I don't have administrator rights. Any way to bypass that prompt so it stops bugging me?
Yeah, I actually have a Windows 7 CD sitting right here. I'm guessing I gotta reboot the rig, pick first boot device in the BIOS or whatever, but then I'm totally lost. If you don't mind, could you walk me through how this works? Please!
I have no clue what went down today. I fired up my laptop and this window just pops up out of nowhere: "your computer was unable to start......startup repair is checking your system for problems" and it’s just been spinning for like an hour straight. I tried rebooting it to get into Safe Mode, but nope—same exact headache. Anyone here dealt with this before? Any idea how to fix this mess?
So, I’ve got an account over at https://drive.google.com/ and they just bumped up my storage space. I was wondering—can I upload this old movie I have sitting around and just shoot my sister a link? She’s living over in Germany, so she could just download it from there. Basically, I'm asking if that's actually allowed under the rules.
So, I'm trying to get some MP4 movies to play on my LCD TV, but it looks like I've gotta convert them to AVI first and burn the subtitles right in. I'm planning on using Adobe to get the job done. While I'm messing around with the conversion settings, I hit this field labeled “video codec” that gives me these options: H.264, HVID, MPEG4. Which one should I pick if I want to be 100% sure everything actually works on the TV?
So, here’s the deal—does Word 2007 actually have the guts to catch my typos when I’m typing stuff out in English? Like, say (just for kicks) I mess up and type "Yu mast be loged" and the program jumps in to suggest the right way to write "You must be logged"

Oh man, I just clicked the link and it's giving me this: The download link has been updated (error: #10). You may now download the file. If this error is persistent, please try to disable your anti-virus program or add sendspace to your white list.
So, I'm messing around in Word 2003 and trying to draw two circles in some super specific spots on an A4 sheet, but I'm totally stuck. Any tips? Basically, I need these circles centered horizontally on the page (like, perfectly aligned on the X axis) and sitting exactly 2 cm from both the top and bottom edges. I want it to look just like this image here.
I'm looking at picking up some new glasses, but I’m totally stuck between the 50-inch and the 80-inch options. Logically, you'd think the 80-inch ones would be the way to go, right? But I'd love for someone to break down what the actual difference is between the 50" and the 80" models.
So, you're saying the video plays straight from an SD card (4 GB). I see they've got a bunch of different screen sizes available, like 50", 60", 72", and so on. The only thing I don't get is what's actually going to change for me if I'm wearing the glasses—is there really a noticeable difference between a 50" and a 72" view?
So, I was just scrolling through eBay earlier and stumbled onto something that would be an absolute steal if it’s actually what I think it is. It's one of those Apple Vision Pro things—or at least looks like it—and from what I can gather, you can basically watch movies on them. But here's the kicker: I'm totally lost on how the video actually gets into the headset. Like, does it pull from a USB drive, plug into your iPhone, or maybe run off an SD card? Check out this link virtual video glasses Does anyone here actually know how these things work?
If you ask me, VLC Media Player is hands down the king for all those high-end formats. With it, while you're sitting there watching a movie in one format (like .mkv), you can actually re-encode it into something like an avi at the exact same time.
Alright, walk us through it then—how do you turn an MKV into an AVI? I've been looking everywhere and I seriously don't see that option anywhere.
