..nah, not really... it's just part of my job description—I watch these movies in both the original English and the dubbed versions... and honestly, none of them have hit the spot quite right yet (though I gotta admit, Stuart Little is the closest thing so far)... basically, I'll always go with the original over a dub, no matter how good it is...
...even though the Americans did a solid job with the dubbing, I just can't stand watching anything synchronized—it's impossible for me. So, the movie is only good if it doesn't speak American...

...unless they're just renting bootlegs... In the US, you won't find that spy, the marathon runner, "Who Is That Guy Pev," or "How Rock 'n' Roll Died" on DVD. You can find Lightning, Professional, and Zamfir Zone though...
..Man, once I saw those prices... you can grab a 40GB high-def DVD for maybe $150, which isn't even that bad... A decent DVD burner goes for about $250 or $300, and honestly, the price is tanking fast. I remember seeing a Panasonic 80GB DVD burner for just 10 $167 at the start of the year, and now it's sitting around $40 (or so I heard)... Anyway, once the price for a burner drops below $500—which I think is gonna happen any day now—it’s game over for the VHS era. We'll be down to the last nail in the coffin for 🙂
..plus, I read that the biggest tech megastore in the States actually pulled VHS from their shelves because they didn't sell a single tape in 18 months...
...so... I've noticed that in lately released movies with similar themes hitting our local video stores over the last few months (Wrong Turn, Cabin Fever, House of 1000 Corpses, House of the Dead), it's always just American college students getting slaughtered...😁 ...man, if they keep this up, there won't be anyone left in the US to actually go to college...😁
...I honestly never understood what the deal was with that Cult classic film... from what I can tell, kids mostly obsess over it right around middle school or when they start freshman year of high school...
