Basically, if it's under $333, they just use standard USPS, and I think they actually cover the extra costs themselves πŸ‘

Danak for the heads up! πŸ˜‰

Edward Mitchell4 said:What's the ratio for mixing glucose powder with protein for a pre-workout? One scoop of whey with two scoops of glucose, or the other way around?
And is it fine to toss a spoonful of glucose into my oatmeal in the morning because it tastes so bland?

Just match the grams of glucose to your body weight in kilograms.
As for the oatmeal? No. Don't dump glucose in there. Just use whey.

and honestlyβ€”don't bother mixing glucose into oatmeal; just go with some whey instead.

Yeah, whey is the move. Or even just a spoonful of honey.πŸ˜‰

I’d say mixing in some honey and royal jelly is better

but honestly, the quality of the honey matters... wild forest honey is the way to go

I was in such a rush earlier that I just swung by the CVS and grabbed one of those overpriced Spirulina shakesβ€”you know, basically just a fancy version of those Herbalife meal replacements!
It actually tastes pretty great πŸ™ plus you’ll probably stay full for at least five hours afterward 😁
but honestly, since it's mostly just vitamins and minerals, I'm kind of worried about whether it's actually okay to skip a real meal after drinking it.

Sounds tasty πŸ™ + you're probably full for like 5 hours after 😁
But there's barely any vitamins or minerals in it, so I'm worried about not being able to eat anything else afterward

How much is a pack? What's the damage?

Look, let’s just be real about it: Herbalife is a total disaster, okay?

It’s tasty enough πŸ™ + I guess it keeps me full for about 5 hours 😁
But there are so few vitamins and minerals in it that I worry if it's actually okay to skip eating after having one.

How do you even go five hours without eating?? 😁 I need to eat something every two hours.😲

Mayor, it's no problem at all. πŸ˜‰

So, how many protein shakes are you hitting a day?

Sam Roberts said:And how many protein shakes are we talking per day??

Not every day. Maybe two or four times a week. I mostly try to get everything from actual food. I'll grab one after a heavy workout. For the guys, though, they probably need them more...
He drinks his in the morning with oatmeal and then again after training. On days he actually works out, it seems like he just sticks to the morning one...

honestly, on the days he's acting this extra, he should probably just stick to a protein shake after his workout

So, I’ve been using Dymatize Elite Whey lately. It actually tastes pretty decent when I just mix it with waterβ€”it's got this blueberry-type fruit flavor that hits the spot. But honestly, once I start loading up on glucose, it becomes way too sweet for me! I don't really want to mix it with milk because the absorption rate is too slow for what I'm trying to do. Does anyone have any advice? Like, am I stuck mixing it into just a few ounces of water, or could I maybe mix it into a full liter and just sip on it slowly over half an hour instead?

Read my post more carefully. I clearly stated she drinks after every workout, and every single morning too.πŸ˜‰

Look, I drink a ton of water. I usually mix mine in about four ounces, then just keep sipping plain water alongside it... πŸ˜‚ So, yeah, you should be fine. 😍

Personally, I always toss at least a pint of water into my shakeβ€”usually even more than that... though I tend to knock it back pretty quickly πŸ€”. At the end of the day, the exact amount of water doesn't really matter (not that I’m suggesting you should drown it in a gallon of water just so you can sip on it all afternoon πŸ™‚).

It doesn't really matter how much water you use (obviously, I don't mean diluting it with 10 liters just so you can sip on it all day long πŸ™‚).

Aha, gotcha, thanks!
What would be the most ideal window to drink my whey and glucose after a workout? Sometimes I head straight from lifting into some cardio (usually averaging about 45 minutes)

What’s the actual sweet spot for hitting my whey and glucose after a session? Sometimes I jump straight into about 45 minutes of cardio right after lifting.

Based on all the bodybuilding and gym forums I've spent way too much time reading...

The one-hour window post-workout is the rule. If the session drags past an hour, you probably need some juice or a banana to keep things moving. Correct me if I'm wrong...
It really just comes down to how hard you hit the weights and how intense that cardio is afterward.

I think they're probably just trying to say that on rest days, you should just have your whey with some oatmeal in the morning.
