So he takes them daily. In the morning, he mixes them into milk with some oatmeal—no added sugar there. On training days, he mixes them with water and some dextrose right after his workout. Clear enough now? 🙂

I get what you're trying to say, but that sentence doesn't quite make sense to me...

So, how do you actually pick a whey protein that isn't total garbage? I've got this 3-day ab routine going, and the advice I got was to supplement with some whey—something clean, taken both before and after my workouts, which usually run about an hour. I guess I'm just worried about picking something that'll make me pack on fat like crazy, but I also don't want to get ripped off... maybe something around $50 for a 500g tub or a bottle of capsules. My diet is pretty decent overall, though; I don't think I'm falling short on protein.

any decent whey will get the job done.

Aim for something more budget-friendly, like Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey.

I think it's about $53 2 lbs

@Jason Campbell70/">@@Jason Campbell70 - where am I supposed to find that around here for that kind of price? All I've seen is north of $67. 🤷

The container is 16 ounces—and if I'm being totally honest, it’ll probably run you about $35!
Nancy Robinson50 — I was eating every two hours myself, but lately, I can't even look at food without feeling sick! 🤷

Anyway, I make all my shakes with milk. I don't care how many people claim it's bad—it's not me. I basically live on milk, honestly, I could drink it by the gallon, and right now I'm just doing one shake a day. But since my appetite has been non-existent lately, I might start having them more often; I really need these vitamins to get my immune system back up to speed!

jadetiger962 😁 , what's the issue this time? What's wrong with Herbalife now? Look, I don't even use it, but everyone talks it up constantly—it's all anyone says! 🤣

Are those proteins at DMu actually any good?

If I'm reading the label right, there's about 89g of protein in every 100g of powder, and since the tub is roughly 350g, we're looking at $17...

Honestly, they aren't exactly the best bang for your buck. Short version: skip them.😉

If I'm reading this right, those look like soy proteins—which, let's be honest, a lot of people have some serious issues with. Honestly, just head over to Pronutrition and for $50 grab a kilo of whey; it’s going to be way higher quality than whatever stuff they're stocking at CVS😉

Does anyone happen to have a price list for Pronutrition lying around, and how does the ordering process even work?

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anyone here has tried the Scitec 100% Whey Isolate?
http://www.fitness-ducan.com/product...products_id=69

It’s labeled as an "isolate," but the price tag is way lower than other isolates I’ve seen online. I noticed it doesn't mention using CFM technology—could that be why it's so cheap?
Plus, it seems to have slightly less protein per serving compared to the other brands out there.

Also, does anyone have experience with the standard Scitec 100% Whey Protein?

The pricing looks pretty solid, so I'm thinking about grabbing either a large tub of the isolate or maybe a 5lb bag of the regular whey. I just want to make sure I'm making a smart choice before I drop the cash. 😉

Thanks for any insight you can give!

@ Carl Taylor - how much do they charge for shipping, and what's the ballpark total?

ambercrane32 said:@ Carl Taylor - what's the shipping situation look like? Any idea how much they charge or how fast it actually gets here?

They mostly use FedEx, so you can usually count on it arriving the next day—which isn't bad at all. As for the cost, expect to shell out somewhere around $30-$17 for shipping.

It depends on how fast you want it. If you’re in a rush, they'll send it via FedEx and you cover the shipping. Otherwise, if you order up to $333 proteins, they just use standard USPS and pick up the shipping costs themselves. At least, that's what a lady told me once...

I’ve been sticking with SCITEC NUTRITION WHEY PROTEIN 100%. Honestly, the quality is solid, and man, the aftertaste is actually great—super smooth, no weird chalky texture or anything like that when you mix it with water. You can grab the $267-->5lb tubs online too, and I think shipping runs about $13

Anyone else rocking this stuff?

Is a combo of whey, water, and oats okay for after my morning cardio session—just skipping the glucose this time?
I'm asking about general morning setups here (not talking about my NW PWM routine)—should I be hitting it with glucose or keeping it simple?

just eat some bananas for breakfast after your PWM

carbs are what matter for breakfast
