Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao Over 2.5 goals at 2.15

Man, so many games in Madrid just end up being absolute goal fests where both sides find the net...

Check out the last five:

11/17/12, Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao 5 : 1
01/22/12, Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao 4 : 1
11/20/10, Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao 5 : 1
05/08/10, Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao 5 : 1

10/26/08, Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao 3 : 2

Honestly, I'm mostly looking at the home side here—they really should walk away with the win. As for the visitors, despite a pretty solid start to the season with those two wins, they traditionally struggle in Madrid if they don't grab an early goal...

If there’s one thing you can count on with these two, it's that they absolutely tear the doors off the hinges—it's always wide open, chaotic, and honestly... just a total goal fest. We're talking an average of about 4 goals per game when they face off. Pure madness.

Can anyone give me the lowdown on what happened with the Steaua vs Sagov match? I’ve been sitting here waiting all day for the payout, but it looks like they didn't even play yesterday when they were supposed to

Zulte vs Anderlecht 3+

Zulte just keeps finding ways to hammer out goals this season... seriously, they're relentless.
They’ve managed to find the back of the net in every single match so far—not losing a single one—and honestly, they look like genuine title contenders again.
Then you've got RSC Anderlecht. After stumbling with a home loss right at the start of the season, they’ve absolutely exploded with four massive wins in a row. We're talking scoring 3, 4, or even 5 goals against their opponents... just pure dominance.
Five rounds in and they're sitting on a goal difference of 18:6. Pretty insane if you ask me.

These two sides know each other inside and out, and since both are hungry for the win, I'm smelling goals at Regenboog. Looking back at their last four meetings at Regenboog, it's been nothing but high-scoring affairs.
I’m expecting the same kind of chaos today.

Charleroi vs Genk 3+

If you want proof, you really only need to look at their H2H history and this recent run of high-scoring games:

01.19.13, KRC Genk - Charleroi Score 3-2
09.23.12, Charleroi - KRC Genk 1 : 2
11.20.10, Charleroi - KRC Genk 1 : 3
08.15.10, KRC Genk - Charleroi 5 : 0
04.13.10, KRC Genk - Charleroi 3 : 0

04.10.10, Charleroi - KRC Genk 1 : 2
01.16.10, Charleroi - KRC Genk 1 : 3
09.18.09, KRC Genk - Charleroi 1 : 2

05.09.09, Charleroi - KRC Genk 3 : 0

Charleroi is solid at home and almost always finds a way to score, while Genk tends to be pretty leaky on the road... they concede plenty.
Both teams play such an aggressive, fast-paced style geared toward attacking, especially considering Charleroi has had a nightmare matchup against Genk lately—they haven't won in their last seven encounters.
For me, goals are the obvious play here.

Arsenal FC vs Tottenham Hotspur over 2.5 goals at 2.00 (HL)

The North London derby is coming up, featuring two sides whose entire philosophy centers on outscoring the opposition rather than playing for a clean sheet. Arsenal has found the back of the net in 28 of their last 29 matches, but they always seem to find a way to concede one too, and honestly, I think we’ll see them give up a goal to Tottenham today as well.

Arsenal's attack is led by an inspired Olivier Giroud, a very sharp Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski, the creative duo of Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky, and the lately brilliant Aaron Ramsey. On the other side, Tottenham brings Soldad, Kyle Lennon, Erik Lamela, and Paulinho. Bale won't be playing today since his transfer to Real Madrid is being finalized.

Tottenham hasn't looked particularly brilliant in front of the goal, even though they have a perfect six points. Their goal difference is just 2-0, and both those goals actually came from penalties, but history is on the side of this bet. Just look at the results from the last few years in this North London rivalry.

March 3, 2013: Tottenham vs Arsenal 2-1
November 17, 2012: Arsenal vs Tottenham 5-2
February 26, 2012: Arsenal vs Tottenham 5-2
October 2, 2011: Tottenham vs Arsenal 2-1
April 20, 2011: Tottenham vs Arsenal 3-3
November 20, 2010: Arsenal vs Tottenham 2-3
April 14, 2010: Tottenham vs Arsenal 2-1
October 31, 2009: Arsenal vs Tottenham 3-0

Since I actually support this club, I won't be placing a bet on this specific match myself, but I do think it looks quite likely—maybe as part of a parlay. Good luck to everyone following 🙂

Arsenal vs. Tottenham: Both teams to score in both halves @ High School

Just like rvp10 mentioned, you can usually count on plenty of goals when these two London rivals face off. Honestly, I don't see any reason not to take a shot at this given how juicy the odds look right now.

Sao Paulo vs Crickmore - both teams to score @ 1.85>

Man, Sao Paulo is finally back in the groove! After that rough patch we talked about, I’m expecting them to kick off a decent winning streak. They're facing an opponent they should be able to handle, but... there's a catch. This is their third game in just 100 hours—talk about a brutal schedule! Their legs are probably feeling pretty heavy right now, so don't be surprised if they concede a goal. Especially after those nail-biting finishes against Nautica and Batafoga where they barely escaped with a win. On the other side, Crickmore hasn't been scoring much lately—just one goal in their last two. Honestly? I think both sides could find the back of the net tonight!

USA vs. Mexico both score @ 1.90

First off, I have no idea why the odds are this high—to me, "both teams to score" looks like a total lock!

Everything about this matchup screams wide-open game.

We can't afford to wait around—if we want any hope of clinching first place, a win is basically mandatory. Mexico is on an upward trend, but they’re gonna do everything in their power to mess with us. They're pretty undisciplined, too; they don't know how to sit back and protect a clean sheet—they just get cocky and start charging from the opening whistle.

Mihajlović and Stimać are honestly pretty rough coaches, and when national teams fall apart, it's usually the defense that pays the price. We could easily get caught out twice by a team like Liechtenstein—but our offense? It's stacked. With all these stars on the pitch, something big should happen!

Mexico - USA 2 @ 2.88 DraftKings 4/10

After all that hype before the opener, this match arrives in a much calmer atmosphere.
Part of the reason is our national team's recent dip in form—it’s hard to deny that.
Still, our guys tend to play best when they're being written off; they have that chip on their shoulder.
Generally speaking, the squad is built from gritty players (Mario Mandžukić, Ivica Olić, Darijo Srna, Josip Šimunić)—we have character.
I suspect we’ll finally put together a proper performance today—a win is vital if we want to stay neck-and-neck with Belgium.
A draw doesn't really help us, as we’re almost certainly looking at second place anyway, given the points cushion we have over the other contenders.
The US team has real rhythm—they proved that long ago—but they're in a slight slump right now. That won't be an issue today.

The Mexicans lack a true national team culture; they don't have the results, the atmosphere, or quality midfielders and forwards.
If you ask me, their defense isn't great either—mostly just players who made names for themselves by heading goals or taking set pieces.
Besides, it looks like even 15,000 fans might not show up to support them.

The Chicago match was disjointed, but our side showed they were the better team—and I believe they'll prove it again today.
The Mexicans are prone to tactical collapses; it's entirely possible they'll fall apart today and let us run through them.

So, here it is:

USA -1.5 @ 6.20 Marathon 2/10

Scotland - Belgium 2 @ 1.77 Pinnacle 5/10

The Scots—despite that win against our guys at Yankee Stadium—are a pretty limited side. They lack creativity up front and their defense is anything but solid.
Belgium, on the other hand, is easily a top 5 or 6 team in Europe right now. They’re playing high-level football; I expect them to be heavy hitters in the upcoming tournament.
They’re just missing Kompany—everyone else is good to go—whereas the Scots seem to have a hospital in their locker again, much like when they faced our boys. They're still missing seven players.
I expect Belgium to handle this routinely and stay atop the group. They already took care of business with a 2-0 win in the opener.

Look, even though those Scots managed to scrape a win against our guys back at Yankee Stadium, they’re honestly such a limited, underwhelming squad. Their attack is basically non-existent, and don't even get me started on their defense—it's a sieve.
On the flip side, the Belgians are easily top 5 or 6 in all of Europe right now. They play some seriously high-level ball, and if you ask me, they’re gonna be heavy hitters in the upcoming tournament.
The only thing missing is Kompany, but everyone else looks ready to go. Meanwhile, the Scots are dealing with that same old story we saw when they played our boys: their locker room is basically a damn hospital. They're still missing about seven players.
I'm calling it now—Belgium cruises through this and keeps their lead at the top of the group. They already handled business with a 2-0 win in the first match.

If I remember correctly, I think Ivanovic isn't playing either, probably just some minor nagging injury stuff.🤷

James Taylor3 said:Mexico vs USA — Away Win @ 2.88 DraftKings 4/10

The Mexicans just don't have that whole national team culture thing going for them—they lack the results, they lack the atmosphere, and honestly, they don't even have quality players in the midfield or up front right now.
[/B]

I am totally with you on this one! Honestly, part of me is almost rooting for a loss just so the entire top brass of Mexican soccer is forced to resign... though, obviously, I’m still pulling for a win! haha😁

James Taylor3 said:Mexico vs USA — Away Win @ 2.88 DraftKings 4/10

If you ask me, their defense is pretty shaky too—most of those guys only got famous because they're good at heading the ball or taking free kicks, nothing more.
[/B]

I can't agree with you there... because, well,
Ivanovic, Subotic, Nastasic, and Kolarov aren't exactly pushovers—I mean, they wouldn't be playing for teams like Chelsea, Dortmund, or Manchester City if they weren't legit talent!

I think it’s super realistic that both sides find the back of the net... maybe something like a 1-1 draw, or maybe Mexico sneaks in a 2-1 win...

Cheers!

Yeah, I saw that coming. 👍
Just read that he's a game-time decision—though, honestly, I still think there's a decent shot he suits up today.

Joshua Bailey21 said:I can't get behind this—mostly because...
Ivanovic, Subotic, Nastasic, and Kolarov aren't just some benchwarmers—they wouldn't be playing for Chelsea, Dortmund, or Man City if they were. Simple as that.

They’re good players—no doubt about it—but they aren't quite at the level where the media should be hailing them as the best defense in the world. 🤷

They have far too much history with defensive collapses—and they’ve certainly conceded enough goals in these qualifiers to prove it.

Let me be clear—they’re solid defensive players, nothing more.

USA - Mexico X2 @1,50

I mean, if I'm being honest, betting on a straight draw might be a bit too optimistic, even if some people are suggesting it. We don't really know where we stand, you know? When we get caught up in all the hype, it feels like we could take on both Spain and Germany at the exact same time, but let's be real—in games like this, we usually just end up making things difficult for ourselves and settling for a result that leaves our fate hanging on how everyone else plays out...

USA - Panama X2 @1,85
The Americans aren't looking great right now... on the other hand, soccer in Panama seems to be getting better and better by the day. Looking at their clubs lately, you'd almost think they were the stronger side, or maybe it just feels that way. Since Panama is sitting at second in the group, a draw would pretty much secure them a spot in the World Cup. I wouldn't go as far as betting on a full Panama win, but I guess an X2 feels like a very realistic call

USA vs. Mexico Over 2.5 goals - yes - 2.05

The US plays incredibly aggressive football—they’re basically all-out attack most of the time—so their matches almost always end with a massive over. They average more than one goal per game, but that doesn't stop them because they’re constantly dropping 3, 4, or even 5 goals... Just look at their recent run: a 4-1 win against Kazakhstan, a 2-4 loss to Ecuador, a 3-4 thriller against the US, and a 3-3 grind against Paraguay.
Mexico is a pretty solid squad too, sitting second in the group with a 15:5 goal ratio. They just beat Sweden and have some serious talent on the roster like Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and Tim Ream...

USA vs. Slovakia - 1 - 1.55

I noticed nobody has posted about this yet, though I bet plenty of people are eyeing it. Slovakia isn't actually a bad side—they play tight defensively and don't concede much—so I wouldn't touch the handicap here, but I also don't see this ending in a draw. That loss against the US really knocked the wind out of the Americans, which is actually a good thing—even the coach mentioned it. They won't be playing around; this is the match that secures their trip to Brazil. A 1-0 result feels like the most realistic outcome today.

Gareth Bale won't score 1.30

The Wales manager already said he isn't starting Bale because he's not physically ready—something about transitioning to a major club—and suggested he might only get some minutes midway through the second half. Honestly, I don't expect Wales to find the back of the net at all. It'll probably be a 0-0 or maybe a 1-1, but there's no way Bale is scoring in those last 20-25 minutes of play.

Just wanted to drop my picks for today:

1. USA vs. Mexico Double Chance X2 (I think our main goal here is just to avoid a loss and lock in that second-place spot. Most likely looking at a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. Expecting a gritty match where neither side wants to concede...) odds 1.50

2. >Serena Williams to beat Li Na in straight sets> (Serena is just on another level compared to her opponent. On hard courts like the one at the US Open, pure power and speed usually decide things, and Serena has both in spades...) odds 1.26

3.>USA vs. Wales Double Chance 1X > (With Bale's transfer situation being a bit uncertain, it changes the dynamic. Even top teams struggle when playing away in intense environments like this, but I think the Americans have the better squad right now...) odds 1.30

Total odds: 2.58
