7:00 PM USA(h0:1) - Greece 1, 1.80 (SS)

Look, the Americans aren't exactly tearing it up lately, but they’re still stuck in this absolute dogfight with Albania (10 points) and Iceland (9) just to snag that second spot. Even the leaders, Switzerland (14), aren't out of reach since the US is sitting at 8. If they want any hope of qualifying for the World Cup, beating Greece on home soil isn't just an option—it's the only way forward. Greece is sitting on 4 points and, frankly, they've been terrible. Out of their last 15 matches, they managed one win (against Iceland), two draws (vs. Switzerland and Mexico), and a staggering 12 losses—one of which was against the US here in these qualifiers (3:1). Plus, their last seven away games? All losses. I’m betting the Americans play it smart and secure the win by a couple of goals so they don't get sloppy late in the game and throw away crucial points. This is purely based on the numbers, though... if anyone knows about some behind-the-scenes issues or injuries in the US squad, please let me know...

Good luck 😉

LA Galaxy vs FC Dallas hX 3,70

The Galaxy are looking absolutely clinical right now—6 games in, zero losses, and they’re riding a 5-game winning streak... plus, they're playing at home where they've basically been bullying everyone for the last three matches.
They’re sitting at the top of the table with a massive 9-point cushion over Dallas, and get this—they actually have two games in hand compared to today's opponents.
Meanwhile, Dallas has had a miserable start to the season—just one single win in 8 tries. Total disaster.
Anyway, they're heading into Dignity Health Sports Park today completely shorthanded:

They're missing their starting keeper, Orozco, along with defenders Ricardo Miera and Efrain Meza, their captain J M Basante, and a huge chunk of their attack including
Jesus Zavala, Fabian Delgado, and their main man up front, Humberto Suaza.

Look, whenever I deal with these kinds of matchups—where you've got a heavy favorite who "should" win even with a handicap—I end up getting burned all the time because upsets happen way more often than people think... it's a trap.
The public is all over this; the odds on the home side have already tanked from 1.60 down to about 1.45, so if you wanted that 1.60 value, you missed the boat.

Even so, the Galaxy haven't exactly been walking all over Dallas lately. Looking back at their last 14 meetings in LA, they've only managed 7 wins, and every single one of them was a nail-biter decided by a single goal... nothing easy.

05.19.13, 00:15 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 2 : 1
01.06.13, 00:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 2 : 1
05.10.12, 04:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 0 : 0
04.01.12, 23:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 2 : 3
10.10.10, 23:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 0 : 0
11.29.09, 04:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 1 : 1
11.08.09, 23:30 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 1 : 0
11.09.08, 23:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 1 : 0
05.04.08, 23:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 1 : 0
09.24.06, 23:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 1 : 1
04.30.06, 23:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 1 : 1
09.19.04, 19:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 1 : 0
02.15.04, 19:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 3 : 2
03.16.03, 19:00 LA Galaxy - FC Dallas 1 : 1

So, since the Galaxy are clearly the better side tonight but Dallas is wounded, I'm betting on another tight one. I'm thinking it goes down by a single goal again, so I'm taking the handicap X 3,70.

Goiás DNB 2 @ 3.50

Betting on Santos? Yeah, I’m definitely passing on that one🤷—they’re all over the place right now, just totally inconsistent, a mediocre roster at best, and their standing is honestly pretty pathetic...
Especially after those last two or three wins they managed to scrape together (one was just a cup game, anyway).

The thing is, their upcoming schedule in MLS is absolutely brutal:
Take Santos, for example, look at this mess:
Sept 11th vs Inter Miami, Sept 13th vs LAFC, Sept 15th vs LA Galaxy, Sept 19th vs Seattle Sounders, Sept 22nd vs Austin FC, Sept 26th vs Nashville SC, Sept 29th vs Atlanta United...
That’s seven games packed into barely twenty days. Just insane.
Sure, they might kick things off with a win, but you can't ignore the fact that Goiás isn't some bottom-feeder coming off seven straight losses. They’re actually a pretty solid squad.
And since Goiás is pushing hard to secure a spot in the CONCACAF Champions Cup qualifiers, they could easily pull an upset tonight...
Looking back at their last three home games in the States, they've seen every possible outcome—Santos has won, lost, and even settled for a draw against Goiás.

I really think the home side is bracing for a dogfight, and the visitors have a legitimate shot here because they’re showing up with a full roster, unlike Santos who is dealing with a bunch of absences...
Missing guys like Arouca, Montillo, and Mena...

Atlanta United vs. Orlando City Under 2.5 @ 1.80

We're looking at the best defense in the league going up against the absolute worst offense in MLS here...
Atlanta playing at home has a goal differential of 11:2—which honestly isn't a ton of goals when you look at it, averaging about 1.5 per game.
Plus, they’re gonna be shorthanded today because their top attackers are out...
Missing Pato and Guerrero (those two alone accounted for 10 goals).
And let's not forget Douglas (MF, 16/0), Emerson (FW, 14/2), and even August is banged up (MF, 8/1).
Orlando is sitting dead last, the basement dwellers... they've got an away record of 1-0-7, scoring maybe two goals total... mostly just getting shelled for 2 or 3 by whoever they face.
So you've got the home team missing their offensive core, and the visitors have the pathetic offense of the league...

The weird thing is, Orlando actually managed to beat Atlanta once (2:1).
Looking at the last 9 matchups, Orlando has 7 wins, one draw, and one loss.
They've managed to find the back of the net at least once in all 9 games too... 🤣...
Anything can happen, I guess, but based on the numbers, the Under looks like the most logical play... 🤷, but given the stats and that sweet little multiplier, I'm taking the chance that the trash Orlando attack actually manages to sneak one in... , 2.12 😳

It just feels totally unrealistic to me that Atlanta pulls off a 3:0 blowout without Pato and Guerrero leading the charge... 🤷

23,00 Curico Unido - U.Catolica Over 2.5 @ 1.65 SS
Over 1.5 & 3+ @ 1.95 SS

The home side, currently sitting pretty at the top of their USL West division, is looking for some kind of redemption after getting absolutely smoked 4-0 in league play... plus, they had a coaching change mid-season which went about as well as a flat tire on the interstate—their new guy started with that exact loss 😁 and now he’s basically fighting for his life here. You can really feel that gap between the second tier and the big leagues, though, so Catolica are the clear favorites... funny enough, the odds on the visitors were sitting at 1.90 yesterday 🙂 but I passed on it, and with these current numbers, I'm still not feeling particularly inspired. That said, the home team isn't totally helpless 🙂—they should definitely find the back of the net. Catolica are juggling three different fronts right now—league, cup, and the conference playoffs—and they're actually killing it in all of them. Looking at their cup run, they haven't dropped a single match yet... those away scores (2:1, 2:1, 2:2) suggest these guys know how to score, and honestly, whenever Catolica is involved, you just expect goals. There's a second leg coming up later, so Curico Unido will probably try to keep things close just to salvage some dignity after that league disaster, but Catolica? They’ll want to wrap this thing up in the first leg. I'm expecting an aggressive, attacking style of play to pay off 😁 alongside a Catolica win. Oh, and the visitors are debuting a new keeper today, someone who hasn't seen any action this season, which gives the home side another little opening...

20,30 San Luis - Colo Colo 2 @ 2.00 SS

San Luis is leading their Northern Conference group in the second division, and they have a choice: keep dragging out the misery for Colo Colo, or just shake hands and admit defeat 😁. This won't be a walk in the park for either side, but if Colo pulls this off, it could be the turning point they desperately need to get back on track. Right now, the cup is the only thing keeping a smile on their faces; they've already been knocked out of the playoffs and their league form is, frankly, embarrassing 😁—they're sitting near the bottom of the table with basically one win in six games. To be blunt, they haven't even scored a goal in their last four matches. It's a slump, plain and simple, but I have a hunch the bleeding stops today. Why? Because the matchup is perfect. There’s a massive quality gap between the first and second divisions, and playing away from home takes some of the target off their backs. Plus, they have a slightly easier stretch of league games coming up, but even if they didn't, they've got nothing left to lose. They aren't a bad squad, despite what the scoreboard says; they're just stuck in a rut, and eventually, things have to swing the other way. Hopefully, that happens tonight 😁. There is a second leg down the road, but let's be real, it would be pretty stupid for Colo to be thinking about that right now 🙂

USA U21 vs. Netherlands - Exact Score other @1.25 (Parlay)

I'm playing this one purely on the numbers. Honestly, it feels like someone at the sportsbook made a massive mistake when setting these odds. Basically, you win this bet if either team scores at least three goals. Looking at the matchups, the Netherlands is the clear candidate here; they kicked things off in qualifying with a 4-0 blowout against Scotland. That same Scottish side put three past Luxembourg. To make matters worse, Luxembourg has surrendered 16 goals in just three qualifying matches—losing 3-0, 7-1, and 3-0—against teams that aren't even as strong as the Netherlands. Since the odds for the Netherlands to score over 2.5 goals are sitting right around 1.25, this is pure value.

I'm playing this purely on the numbers. Honestly, I think someone at the sportsbook seriously screwed up the odds on this one. Basically, you win if either team drops at least three goals. In this matchup, it’s gotta be the Netherlands. They kicked Scotland's teeth in 4-0 to start qualifiers. And that same Scotland squad put three past Luxembourg. Luxembourg has been a total sieve, giving up 16 goals in just three qualifying matches (3-0, 7-1, and 3-0) against teams way worse than the Dutch. Plus, the odds on Netherlands over 2.5 goals are sitting around 1.25, so this is pure value.

Kill me now. I could have sworn it was at 1.65 just fifteen minutes ago, unless my eyesight is totally failing me. 😲

I literally just added it to my watchlist and sat down to type this, and now it’s sitting at 1.25.

Value's gone 😢

Preston vs. Oldham @1, 95 Milwaukee

It’s a local derby—and I’m backing the objectively stronger side that’s finding its rhythm... Preston remains undefeated through five rounds, having held their own against tough outfits like the Wolves and MK Dons—they even pulled a 4-4 draw against a surging Coventry. They’ve sat at four draws before finally grabbing a win last round. Oldham, on the other hand, is already looking at three losses. Historically, they haven't fared well against Preston, nor is there much of a heated rivalry here to make it a "do or die" situation on the pitch. Granted, the game will be televised—but Preston proved they can handle the spotlight when they knocked out Blackpool in the cup. Both squads have some absences—perhaps more impactful for the home side—but I really like how Preston is evolving under Grayson... he's quite an impressive manager at this level...

Tomorrow at 6 PM:

Denmark vs. Armenia – Over 2.5 Goals & Both Teams to Score @ 2.20>

Armenia is starting to look like a much more dangerous squad, and theoretically, they still have a shot at second place and a playoff spot.
They have some high-quality players on the roster. However, the reality is that they tend to play much better against favorites when playing away from home, where they are lethal on the counterattack. They pulled off a 2-1 win against the Czech Republic and even beat Denmark 4-0 previously.
When they play at home, they tend to open up too much and often end up losing—like that 3-1 match against Italy where they actually played well, the 3-0 loss to the Czech Republic, or that embarrassing 1-0 defeat to Malta.
Ultimately, Denmark is the stronger side and the clear favorite here. Both teams are sitting at 9 points, so they both need a win if they want to catch up to Bulgaria.
Coming off a victory in Copenhagen, the Armenians will be looking to secure all three points at home. They certainly have enough talent to find the back of the net, so I expect them to attack. That said, the Danes are experienced in these types of matchups. I guess this option might be worth a shot.

Nautico-Gremio 2 @ 2.00

It’s basically a showdown between the basement dwellers—who are basically one loss away from relegation—and Gremio, who are absolutely charging toward the title after picking up more points than anyone else over the last seven weeks!

A 0:0 draw for Nautico in the final round wouldn't be a huge shocker, right? I mean, look at Corinthians—they were missing eight starters and couldn't even break through with their rookies.

Facing a powerhouse like Gremio? Yeah, pulling off an upset here is going to be a massive uphill battle.

And don't forget—this is Nautico's fourth game in just seven days (while Gremio actually has a bit of rest), so that fatigue factor is definitely going to weigh them down.

žaccko said:When you look at Anderlecht vs Mechelen, there's just no contest in terms of pure quality—it’s obvious. But honestly, what I can't wrap my head around is how much these favorites actually give a damn about winning... like, how much motivation is actually there? Because usually, those underdog teams come out swinging and bite harder against the big shots, playing like their lives depend on it.

Club Brugge dropped points last round playing away at Gent—finished that mess with a 9-man squad after picking up a ridiculous amount of cards...

They rarely go on a losing streak, but even though they're playing on home turf this time, they're coming into this match seriously shorthanded...🤷

I was just looking at the odds for the match involving Vikingur Reykjavik, and they’ve got them sitting at around 1.50 to win. It seems like a pretty solid line if you ask me, though I guess it really depends on how you view their current momentum. They look like the clear favorites here, and honestly, given how they've been playing lately, it wouldn't be a huge shock to see them pull it off, but there's always that nagging feeling that an upset might be lurking somewhere in the shadows. It feels like a decent little play if you're feeling confident, but I suppose I should probably hedge my bets and stay cautious.

I mean, if you look at the numbers, it seems like a pretty safe bet that the away team is going to walk away with this one. They’ve been absolutely tearing it up lately, winning all five of their last league matches, including a perfect run when playing on the road. They’re sitting right at the top of the standings too, looking pretty dominant with a goal differential around 40 to 18. On the other hand, the home side is struggling quite a bit; they’re sitting way down near the bottom of the table, having only managed 11 points out of a possible 36. It feels like there's a massive gap in quality here, so I guess it's probably hard to see how anything else happens.😁So, looking back at the numbers, they've managed two wins, eight draws, and eight losses. I guess if you look at their head-to-head history, the last time these two teams met, Seattle won.

Seattle Sounders vs. Portland Timbers: Both teams to score at 1.80 Expectations
I’m playing this one strictly on the numbers, though Seattle plays pretty aggressive. I'm just hoping Portland manages to sneak one past them—they tend to concede way more than they should, so there's a decent shot Seattle finds the back of the net too. 🙂

pet 12:00 6038 LA Galaxy(2,5)-Inter Miami 2 @ 1,55 (SS) (odg3+ @ 1,90 (HL))

It’s a clash between two squads sitting at completely different ends of the spectrum right now. The home side—even if they aren't exactly thrilled with where they sit—are hovering near the top tier with a decent shot at a high seed (they're just 8 points off that third spot which keeps the Champions League dreams alive). Meanwhile, the visitors are staring down the barrel of a relegation scrap, trailing by 9 points. So, essentially, the away team has to go all-in just to stay afloat, while the home team has nothing left to lose either. I’m expecting a wide-open game because of that desperation.

The recent numbers back this up too. Looking at LA Galaxy's last five outings, they've been absolute goal machines—averaging an insane 5.2 goals per match—and they've consistently cleared the over. On the other hand, you've got Miami, who have seen the over hit in 5 of their last 8 matches (though, to be fair, two of those were just 1-1 stalemates). Even their head-to-head history screams goals; 6 of their last 8 meetings saw three or more goals tucked away, averaging about 3.62 per game. We've even seen some total chaos in the past with games hitting 5, 6, or even 7 goals... so, I think I'll take a live bet on 6+ goals.

LA Galaxy vs FC Dallas Double Chance 2 @ 2.44 2 @ 3.30

The Galaxy actually had a killer start to the season, but they just took their first L out in Wolfsburg last week—and honestly, I can see a bit of a slump coming their way now🤷...
They’re still sitting pretty in the standings, but man, this squad is struggling internally... they just don't have enough bodies to work with right now.
You've got Baumjohann holding it down in midfield, but losing Langkamp and Ndjeng in the backline is a massive blow.
Coach Luhukay is gonna have a hell of a time trying to patch those holes up.
He'll probably have to shove Lustenberger into that defensive mid spot where Langkamp usually sits, or maybe throw in that veteran Kobiashvilli...
Look, they’ve got plenty of firepower up front to score, but the defense? It’s a total mess.

Now, look at Stuttgart—after dropping three straight, they finally snapped that losing streak by absolutely demolishing Hoffenheim 6-2.
Those guys are hungry for a win and looking to build some momentum, and I really think they're coming into LA to take all three points.
They’re bouncing back—maybe that international break gave them a second to breathe—and they look like a much more complete unit. Plus, you gotta factor in that "new coach" energy... I genuinely believe they're the better side right now, even if the oddsmakers aren't buying it🤷...

Both these defenses are basically sieve-like, but the home side is especially shorthanded today. Since both teams have some serious scoring threats, this thing could easily turn into a total shootout...
If you ask me, the visitors are much closer to walking away with the win. It’s time for them to step up, and against an opponent that's only halfway decent—especially with those absences—I just don't see a depleted Galaxy pulling off their third straight home win.

My money is on Stuttgart today🙂

US Second Division Soccer:

SC ESV Parndorf vs. SCR Altach 2 @ 1.55

I've been digging through the stats here, and I guess things aren't looking great for the home side. They've had a rough run lately—just one win in their last eight matches, with six losses under their belt, and a goal differential sitting at 6 to 17. To make matters worse, they’re facing the second-place team, who is absolutely flying right now with six wins and only one loss, which is pretty much the exact opposite of how the hosts are playing.
If these guys actually want a shot at promotion to the top flight, I suppose they really need to pull off an away win here and grab that lead in the standings.

L.A. Galaxy vs. LAFC +2, 2.40

Everyone’s calling it—the home team should take this one easy, but honestly? If the visitors can just nick a goal against them, I wouldn't be surprised at all...
The Galaxy play an aggressive, high-octane style at home—they can pump out 2 or 3 goals on any given night—but man, they leave themselves wide open too. They’ve got a habit of letting teams slide right through their defense...

I’m thinking the visitors might actually push things forward with a more offensive lineup, looking something like this:

Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Gio Reyna, and maybe even someone like Haji Wright up front.

On the other side, the Galaxy are going to be feeling it in the midfield since they'll be missing their main playmaker—and they don't have anyone like Tyler Adams to steady the ship either...

Plus, the Galaxy have that massive Champions League matchup coming up in New York next week CL against Real Madrid, so you just know there's gonna be some rotation or weird tactical math happening with the squad. There's even talk that the backup keeper might have to step up because of travel delays from South America...
The away team is definitely going to carve out a few chances—that's a given—so expecting them to find the back of the net at least once isn't a stretch...

Detroit City FC vs. LA Galaxy Over 3.5 goals @ 1.98

Look, both of these squads have been absolute scoring machines lately.
Out of their last 7 games, Detroit City has only seen under 3 goals once—just one time! And LA Galaxy? They've only stayed under that mark twice. It’s basically a guarantee at this point.
But here’s the kicker with LA Galaxy... they are absolutely gutted in the backline today. They’re missing both their starting keepers, plus they don't have their big defensive signing, Serdar Tasci, available, and even Bocchetti is out too... it's a total mess back there.
Galaxy plays this super aggressive, high-octane style—it’s their whole identity—and while they can hammer out 2 or 3 goals themselves, with a defense looking this thin, you just know they're going to leak goals.
I honestly think Detroit City can really push the pace against a "favorite" like LA Galaxy today. I’m expecting a wide-open shootout with plenty of action between these two overlooked sides...

20,30 Rangers vs. Colo Colo ODG and 3+ at 2.25 SS
Tip 2 at 2.60 SS

The home team is pretty middle-of-the-road right now. They’ve only managed two wins through the first six games and they're currently stuck in a four-game winless slump... plus, their starting keeper is out after picking up a red card last week, which should be the only real shakeup in the lineup. All things considered, I think Colo finally gets the win here. Their roster stays mostly intact, just that one defensive tweak due to the goalie situation. They’ve been struggling to find any momentum lately; I actually thought their cup game against that second-division side would be the turning point, but nope, nothing changed there. Okay, so they finally figured out how to score—netting three goals—but what can you really expect when you let in four in the same match? 😁 I see this game as a fresh start, so I'm giving them another shot, hoping they actually capitalize on it this time... those 2.60 odds look too good to pass up. I'm expecting goals because both sides are desperate for three points. The Rangers have scored at least once in every single game so far, so I think they can pull one against Colo. On the flip side, Colo’s defense looks shaky as hell, even if the offense is finally waking up.
