19:00 LA Galaxy vs. LAFC | 2 | 2.5; f+2 | 4.5

The biggest part of this rivalry—the true heart of it—should stay in the stands today. Hats off to the Galaxy, Los Angeles, and their supporters... the atmosphere will be incredible. But the actual score? That rests entirely on how the LAFC squad steps onto the pitch. The Galaxy isn't built to park the bus—they want to actually play football—and that plays right into LAFC's hands. With all three of their attackers hitting their stride—think names like Giroud, Bouanga, and Peczell—I struggle to see any outcome other than an LAFC victory...

Ipswich vs. Middlesbrough – 1 @ 2.35 HL

Middlesbrough is coming off three straight draws—while Ipswich has struggled with two losses and a draw lately. That said, based on how they actually played, Ipswich definitely deserved more... Middlesbrough just doesn't look convincing to me right now, despite their recent results. Usually, Ipswich has a hard time against this side—they took a rough 4-0 loss last season—but I’m really liking the way Mick McCarthy's squad is moving, so I'll take those 2.35 odds

Houston vs. LAFC 2 @2.50

I’ve been digging through the stats a bit, and I guess Houston has had a pretty rough start, sitting at the bottom of the table after four matches with a record of 0-2-2. It looks like they haven't actually beaten LAFC since way back in early 2012, and if you look at their preseason games this summer, they lost almost all of them too. On the other hand, LAFC is sitting comfortably in 3rd place, and if they pull off a win today, I suppose they could even jump ahead of the Galaxy into 1st place, assuming they realize how much is on the line.
LAFC wasn't exactly playing like superstars during their summer preseason either, but I wouldn't call Houston a total pushover. They haven't been conceding a ton of goals lately, so I probably wouldn't bet on some crazy high-scoring blowout or a massive Over/Under situation with 3+ goals.

Coventry vs. Gillingham Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70

So, we've got the most clinical squad in League One right now—they’ve been absolutely tearing it up after two matches where things were a bit tighter... but today they’re facing a team that’s basically perfect for them to feast on. Gillingham hasn't really shown much teeth so far... nothing at all, actually.
The home side is obviously looking to grab these points and finally crawl their way out of the basement... which is exactly what they need to do.
Coventry is playing aggressive, high-octane football—super efficient—and honestly, you could say the same for the visitors... I mean, in all three of their away trips, they’ve tried to dictate play and outclass whoever is in front of them, even if they only walked away with one point total from those trips.
I'm talking scores like 3:2, 2:2, and 4:0... just pure chaos.

Looking back at the last four times these two have collided;
it was 1:3, 2:2, 5:2, and another 2:2.
I’m calling it again—expecting a high-scoring shootout here... lots of goals.

AGF Aarhus vs. Viborg Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70

We’re looking at a matchup between the absolute heavy hitters of the Superliga... the highest-scoring teams in the league.
AGF is averaging about 4 goals per game, and the visitors are sitting right there with them—it’s a dead heat at 14:14.
The home team is going to be missing Alexander Juel Andersen in defense (6/1)... which might leave them a bit exposed.
Their offense is lethal, though, so it’s a safe bet that the home side finds the back of the net at least once... easily.
Out of seven games, they’ve only failed to score in one single match.

Viborg is dealing with some holes too—missing their captain, defender Mikkel Rask, plus they're without midfielder Lukas Lerager.
But don't sleep on the visitors; they're coming in hungry for the win, and they’ve got Thomas Dalgaard leading the charge—he’s sitting on 7 goals, making him the league's top marksman. They know how to score, plain and simple... they did it in all three of their previous outings. This game is begging for goals... should be a fun one.

Portland Timbers vs. LAFC Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70

After that loss last weekend, I can finally catch my breath here in Portland and just... chill for a second.
Obviously, the goal is to kick off a new winning streak—that’s what everyone at the club is breathing down our necks for.
They’ve been playing lights out at the start of this season, super efficient, especially at home where they’ve dropped at least two goals in all three matches and their games have consistently hit that Over 2.5 mark.
Think 4:2, 2:1, and 3:2... nothing easy.
LAFC is a legit threat though, a top-tier squad that plays just as aggressively as Portland—we're talking an average of like 3 or 4 goals per match.
Hell, they even had one crazy game against St. Louis that ended 5:5.
They are more than capable of stepping up and finding the back of the net.
I’m calling it now—goals are coming tonight at Providence Park.
So far, Portland’s home games have been high-scoring affairs, and it’s the exact same story with LAFC when they head out on the road.

Bursaspor vs. Besiktas Over 2.5 goals @ 2.00

The big derby of the week is happening in Bursa, where the home side is gonna try to use that home-field advantage to halt a surging Besiktas team that’s riding a massive three-game win streak.
You could say Christoph Daum’s squad is finally finding their rhythm—they managed to claw out a draw against Galatasaray and then pulled off a road win in Antalya.
But man, they’re missing Belluschia in the midfield today. That hurts.

Besiktas is sitting at the top and absolutely crushing it right now. They started strong and they want to keep this momentum rolling, plus their roster isn't even dealing with too many issues—just missing Holosko up front and Boral in the midfield.
Both these teams have huge ambitions this season, they've got real talent, and they're both in peak form... so it’s totally reasonable to expect an open, attacking game in front of a packed house at the Ataturk Stadium.
Looking back at the last few matchups between these two, they almost always end with plenty of goals, so why should tonight be any different?

04.08.13, Bursaspor - Besiktas 3 : 0
11.09.12, Besiktas - Bursaspor 3 : 3
01.15.12, Besiktas - Bursaspor 3 : 1
09.22.11, Bursaspor - Besiktas 1 : 2
05.07.11, Bursaspor - Besiktas 0 : 3
12.05.10, Besiktas - Bursaspor 1 : 0
05.16.10, Bursaspor - Besiktas 2 : 1
12.18.09, Besiktas - Bursaspor 2 : 3

23.00 Universidad Católica - Houston Dynamo 2 1.90 SS
f+2 3.30 SS

UC is coming in here hunting for a win. They’re running with their best lineup too, looking to keep this momentum rolling... they're juggling three different fronts right now—league play, the cup, and the Conference Championship—and honestly, they're killing it in all of them. If they grab these three points, they jump straight to the top of the table. I figure if they actually show up and take this seriously, second place shouldn't be out of reach. As for Houston, their recent form is just... meh. Honestly, mediocre at best. They haven't even managed to find the back of the net in their first three home games against teams that aren't even in the same zip code as UC in terms of talent. The only team worth mentioning was maybe LA Galaxy, but back then, Houston was basically a walking joke 😁. To make matters worse, they're starting a backup keeper today who's barely had any seasoning—maybe 40 minutes of action across six games this season, and all of those minutes came in one single game after their starter got tossed. In my book, UC is a massive favorite here. I'm thinking about taking the handicap; it's totally doable if they don't start messing around 😁. And I've got a feeling they won't...

Istanbul Derby: Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.95

It’s a local derby between two sides sitting dead even in the standings.
Both squads have 6 points on the board—two wins and one loss apiece.
The home side is really starting to look like a legitimate mainstay in the top flight this year; they actually went out and grabbed some serious talent during the offseason...
They brought in Sanharib Malki up front from Rode, snagged Ryan Babel from Ajax as a free agent, picked up Ezequiel Oscar Scarione in midfield from St. Gallen, added young midfielder Aktas from St. Etienne, and even pulled Ryan Donk from Club Brugge to bolster the defense.
Plus, you still’ve got guys like Tabare Vuidez, Kalu Uche, the Turkish contingent, Andre Castro, and that veteran presence in goal with Isaksson... all being managed from the sidelines by Shota Arveladze.
They did lose a few pieces though—Djalma headed back to Porto, along with Ibricic, F Ernst, Dereli, and S Garcia.

As for Fenerbahce, ever since that European suspension hit, they've been laser-focused on nothing but winning in the MLS.
Man, their offensive lineup is absolutely stacked... we're talking Sow, Webo, Kuyt, and Emenike, all supported by Baroni, Meirelles, and Emre.
Honestly, these guys should be scoring at least once—if not more—every single time they step on the pitch because, strictly looking at the names on the roster, they're easily the most explosive offensive unit in the league.
The over/under ratio for this matchup between the home team and Fener stands at 5 compared to 3.
I’m telling you, goals aren't going to be an issue tonight... both these teams have more than enough firepower to find the back of the net.
The last time they played at the Erdogan Stadium, they walked away with a 2-0 win, and I highly doubt Fenerbahce is just gonna show up and fail to score twice in a row while playing away... unlikely.

LA Galaxy vs. LAFC 1 @1,40 SS

Look, the Galaxy are absolutely tearing it up in MLS right now. Seriously, their record this season is sitting at a ridiculous 14-1-2, and when they're playing on home turf? They're practically untouchable at 8-1-0. They're massive favorites against an LAFC side that’s currently stuck in seventh place. The Galaxy have rolled through their last five games straight, and honestly, why would this streak end today? If you look at the history here, the last time LAFC even managed to walk away from a game at the Galaxy's stadium without a loss was way back in 2009. It's a mismatch. Bottom line—home win.

St. Louis City SC vs. Inter Miami 2 @1,35 SS

St. Louis is basically bottom of the table right now, struggling big time with just 3 points after 7 matches. Then you've got Inter Miami coming to town—they're sitting pretty in second place, trailing the leaders by just one point and a game in hand. Miami needs this win today to leapfrog into first place after round 8. They've already notched 6 wins and only one draw (which happened on the road against the top seed), so this feels like a total lock to me. Might be worth a shot to try f+2 (1,90 SS)> or maybe go for the halftime/fulltime play 2/2 (1,75 SS).

FC Cottbus vs. FC Cologne ODG @1.75

So, looking at this matchup between the home side—who happen to be one of the most explosive offenses in the second division right now, having already netted 14 goals—and the visitors, who boast the stingiest defense in the league with only 4 goals conceded against them... I guess it leads me to think we might just see both teams find the back of the net at least once.
If Energie pulls this off, they’d likely land somewhere in that upper echelon of the standings, maybe sitting between 4th and 7th, while a win for Cologne would vault them straight into 3rd place, just a single point behind the leaders, which would pretty much put them right in the hunt for promotion to the big leagues.

UEFA Champions League match: SL Benfica vs RSC Anderlecht Over 2.5 goals @ 2.40

Look, Benfica has been absolute chaos in their first four domestic league matches—every single game has seen goals flying in. They’ve had three games hit that Over 2.5 mark, plus they just played a 1:1 draw in the city derby against Sporting CP.
On the flip side, RSC Anderlecht has been playing high-octane ball all seven rounds in Belgium, consistently hitting Over 2.5, and honestly? They concede plenty too.
When you put two offensive-minded teams like this together—especially with the home side looking like the favorites here—you just have to expect goals. It’s almost inevitable...
Both squads look pretty shaky defensively if you ask me. There are holes everywhere. The attackers on both sides are definitely going to sniff out those mistakes and punish them.
With guys like Cardozo, Lim, Djuricic, Salvia, and Gaitan facing off against Suarez, Praet, and Mitrovica... I'm calling it now: we're seeing goals. I'm hoping both nets get hit.

UEFA Champions League match: FC Barcelona vs AFC Ajax Over 2.5 goals @ 2.40

I don't care how much of a powerhouse FC Barcelona is, or how much of an underdog AFC Ajax might seem... I really think we could see a shootout here if things get wild.
Barcelona will probably jump out to a lead in the first half—maybe up by one or two—but then they might get a bit too comfortable, right? If they relax, Ajax is going to smell blood and start playing wide open to chase the game.
They played exactly like that last season, too... smashing Borussia Dortmund 4:1 and battling it out 2:2 with Manchester City...
And let's not forget, last season at the Camp Nou, Barcelona conceded goals against Celtic FC and Spartak Moscow... so why wouldn't they give up one to Ajax? These guys are offensively dangerous and always play to score.

Manchester United vs Bayer Leverkusen Pick 1 (1.65 @SS)

Look, Bayer Leverkusen isn't some pushover squad you can just walk over, but honestly? I think United absolutely has to take this first round win—especially playing in front of their own home crowd. If they don't, they're begging for a repeat of that disaster from a couple of seasons back when they played totally uninspired football and got knocked out during the group stage of the Europa League. Remember how Chelsea went down the drain last year? Yeah, exactly like that. Since I don't have the guts to put my actual money on the line, I'll just drop my Pick here at a solid 1.65 odds.

Copenhagen vs Juventus FC 2-1, 1.40 @SS

Even though Juve got burned in Denmark last year—remember that 1-1 draw against FC Nordsjaelland?—they absolutely have to secure a win today if they want to kick off their Europa League campaign on the right foot. Copenhagen is having a nightmare season in their domestic league; instead of fighting for the title, they’re basically scrambling just to stay afloat. They managed to scrape together only 7 points in the first 8 rounds, which has sent the biggest club in Denmark into a total tailspin. Their issues stem from a defense that can't seem to stop conceding, but the real disaster is up front. Losing Cornelius last year left a massive hole in their attack, and the new guys, primarily Ada, are still struggling to find their footing. They’ve even gone on record saying they aren't expecting much from the Europa League this year; their priority is fixing their play and securing a decent league standing. For them, playing in this competition is nothing more than a bonus. I'll be missing Stadsgaard in the defense today.

On the other hand, Juventus has significantly bolstered their squad this year. After dominating Serie A, they are clearly aiming for a deep run in the Europa League. Their big statement signing, Carlos Tevez, has integrated seamlessly and looks poised to form a lethal duo alongside Mirko Vučinić. Since this is the opening round, Conte isn't going to mess around with rotation; expect them to field their strongest possible lineup. On the injury front, backup keeper Rubinho, defender Caceres, and midfielder Pepa are all out. Also, while Marchisio is usually a starter, he's sidelined, leaving Paul Pogba to step in and cover for him.

The roster depth, current momentum, and sheer ambition all point toward the Italians. Because of that, I’m banking on an away win here.

Galatasaray vs Real Madrid over 2.5 goals yes @ 2.00

When it comes to matches like this—where Real Madrid basically needs the win but also doesn't really *need* it—they tend to play super aggressive moving forward but look totally relaxed defensively. Honestly, they hit the over 2.5 mark in 5 out of 6 games during their last Champions League group stage, aside from that 1:1 draw away against Manchester City. Everyone is just dying to score against Real, even if they end up losing 0:3, and Galat showed back in the spring that they can actually pull off three goals too!

Galat hasn't exactly had a great start in their domestic league lately, but they’re going to be incredibly motivated here—though, let's be real, a loss seems pretty much inevitable. I’m expecting Real to secure those 3 points relatively quickly and then maybe just... sleep through one of Galat's attacks?

Real Sociedad vs Shakhtar Donetsk - 1 - 2.30

Real Sociedad is a powerhouse—they deservedly finished 4th last season (ahead of teams like Valencia, Sevilla, and Malaga...) and they absolutely cruised through the qualifiers against Lyon with 2:0 wins in both legs. They only let Illarramendi go to Real Madrid for 30 million euros, and they actually turned down several similar offers for guys like Carlos Vela, Xabi Prieto, and Griezmann. Močad and the manager have stuck together, and even though the start hasn't been perfect, I expect them to hit last season's level very soon. They went 19 games unbeaten at home until they finally ran into a massive Atletico Madrid side (1:2)—and let's be honest, Atletico is even stronger this year than last. During that streak, they also beat Barcelona 3:2 and covered the handicap against Malaga, Valencia, and Sevilla. Nobody goes into San Sebastian and calls themselves the favorite. Plus, the city is right on the coast with an oceanic climate—which, in my opinion, is going to mess with the Shakhtar players big time since they're used to much lower temperatures and totally different weather. On the flip side, Shakhtar isn't nearly what they've been the last few seasons. Even their own captain admitted it—things are going to be pretty tough for them in the Europa League this year. Their two losses in the domestic league against sides barely stronger than mid-tier American MLS clubs—Dnipro and Karpaty—say everything you need to know. Shakhtar had that many total losses in their domestic league over the entire last two seasons combined! They've offloaded about 103.5M € in player sales, trying to patch things up with 88.2M € in spending, but clearly, the math isn't working out in their favor.

For the bold ones f2 @ 4.30.

Trenton - West Palm Beach F+2 @2.70

I guess this one feels pretty straightforward to me. This is easily the most efficient squad in the league right now, sitting at 22 wins and 12 losses, and if they pull this off, they’d climb straight into third place. They’ve even got the league's top scorer on their side, so I really think it's a realistic outcome. On the other hand, the visitors are basically bottom-feeders with a shaky 3-2-4 record. Honestly, I think the home team would have to lose today to make sense of it, so I’m leaning toward a two-goal spread since the odds look decent enough.

Millwall - Blackpool 2 @2.50

This one seems fairly simple when you look at the standings—it's just the bottom of the table hosting the leader.
Millwall is currently sitting at the very bottom with a 0-2-4 record and a goal difference of -9, which makes them probably the biggest disappointment of the season so far. They're facing a Blackpool side that’s undefeated at 5-1-0 with a +4 goal difference. Now, I wouldn't say Blackpool is some unstoppable juggernaut—their leading scorer only has two goals so far—but Millwall has been one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Still, my gut tells me Blackpool walks away with a win today, even if it's just a narrow 1-0.

Bayern Munich vs. CSKA Moscow Under 3.5 goals | Odds: 1.7 | DraftKings

As soon as I saw the odds for under 3.5 goals in this matchup, I knew I had to take it. Bayern is clearly the heavy favorite here, and I fully expect them to walk away with the win. That said, I don't see it being a blowout. Russian clubs have always been known for playing a tough, disciplined style that's hard to break down. Plus, Bayern looks different this season under their new manager; they’re overthinking things a bit too much and complicating their buildup play. Looking at their recent Bundesliga run, they haven't scored more than two goals in any single match, and they only conceded once against Freiburg. They've put up scores like a 2-0 win over Hannover, a 1-1 draw away at Freiburg, a 2-0 home win against Nuremberg, and a 1-0 road victory at Frankfurt. CSKA hasn't scored more than twice in their last five outings either, and they'll definitely be playing defensively here. I'm confident this stays under 3.5 goals, and the value is solid.

The situation in small-town Ohio is a mess. They couldn't hold onto their roster, the local municipality can't foot the bill for the club anymore, and they’ve managed to score exactly one goal in five matches. At this rate, they'll be playing in the third tier before the season ends—they were even losing to sides weaker than Inter, who are looking like a lock for a win today. Looks like AC Milan is going to be missing a ton of guys tonight;

Gabriel (GK); I. Abate, M. Silvestre, D. Bonera, De Sciglio, Montolivo, Poli, Kaka, El Shaarawy, Pazzini, and Niang.

That’s a massive amount of players out of the lineup—honestly, Celtic might actually pull something off here, maybe even sneak away with a win in Milan if things go their way.

The home defense looks shaky as hell right now, totally unconvincing... I'm expecting Celtic to sit back, play defensive, and just hunt for those counter-attacks like they have in seasons past, while staying super gritty until the final whistle.
They’ve got a real shot with set pieces, too, plus they know how to handle these high-pressure games... I really think this depleted, mediocre AC Milan squad is going to be in for a serious fight.

Wigan vs. Ipswich—taking Ipswich at @ 1.50

So, Wigan is playing away in Belgium tomorrow—this could be a massive game for them to clinch that group spot. I know their main focus is getting back to the big leagues, but hey, this is their first time ever playing in European competition, and who knows if they’ll ever get this chance again? They’re definitely going to give it 100% since they actually have a shot at moving on to the spring rounds. That said, they’re gonna be pretty wiped from travel, and let's be real—Ipswich isn't exactly some pushover either!

Sunday 7:00 PM

Vitória vs. Benfica—taking Benfica @ 1.50

Benfica is already trailing by 5 points, so they seriously cannot afford another slip-up here. They’ll be coming in two days fresher than Vitória, too. Plus, they’ve got a bit of a grudge to settle after that Cup final loss! Honestly, they’re two classes above the rest and are finally finding their rhythm. On the flip side, Vitória had an absolute nightmare during their last home game, losing 4-1 to Setúbal.
