I've been on it for a while now and it usually works well for me, but there are those days where I forget a dose and—boom—it hits me like I'm on speed. My pupils get huge, my body feels like it's overheating, just pure euphoria... then when it wears off, I'm absolutely wiped out. I used to be able to crash right after that, but only if I had some Ambien to help.☕Like last night and earlier this morning, I could barely sleep, and when I did, the dreams were just totally wild.🙄

Honestly, like you said—that "hit me like speed" feeling? That sounds more like mania than just plain old anxiety... seriously, you should probably go see a psychiatrist ASAP and tell them exactly that! And those crazy dreams? That could definitely be from the Ambien—I mean, Ambien is notorious for causing hallucinations!

John Stewart said:What doctor? I haven't even seen a psychiatrist... two months ago, I had major spinal surgery, and every single night at the hospital, they were pumping me full of Tramadol—which totally knocks you out—along with all this other junk... because it was the only way I could actually get some sleep, even if it was just for a few hours. Everything hurt. It’s brutal when you literally can't move an inch from your bed. Ugh. Now I'm back home, and yeah, I'm still taking them. It's hard—I'm trying to push through everything, but it's so frustrating not being able to bend over and knowing I've got metal rods in my back. If something drops on the floor, I'm just stuck there, haha.
But I'm planning on getting off the pills this summer and finding some peace on my own. 🙂

Aha, hold up—so your primary care doctor prescribed the Lexapro and Normabelles for the pain or something? Look, just try not to get too reliant on the Normabelles 😁 and, honestly, like I mentioned before, you shouldn't have any issues as long as you're following the doctor's orders exactly... I really hope you feel better soon! 🙂

Has anyone here actually tried taking Solian? I'm curious about what kind of results people are seeing out there... maybe if you could share your experience

Risperidone (sold as Risperdal, Sulpitac, Amitriptyline, Zoloft or Prozac), is an atypical antipsychotic used to treat psychosis in schizophrenia and episodes of mania in bipolar disorder. In small doses it is also used to treat depression. It was introduced by Sanofi-Aventis in the 1990s.

Risperidone is not approved for use in the United States😲🤷

There you go—some actual info...

Can you get headaches from taking Seroquel and Zoloft together?
I tried taking both within a pretty short window once, and I ended up with a massive migraine.

Does anyone know what actually works for a headache when you're on this combo? (I usually just grab Advil when my cramps are acting up)

Advil works for headaches too.

Hey everyone. I’ve got an 11-year-old kid who’s been dealing with what looks like some pretty heavy OCD over the last few months. His psychiatrist put him on Zoloft twice a day at half a pill (though we just started with once a day) and also Klonopin twice a day at half a dose. Lately, though, the defiance has gone through the roof—he’s actually getting aggressive with me and my wife... honestly, if anyone has any advice or even just a thought, I'm all ears.

Treating kids and teenagers with psychotropic meds is such a delicate balancing act. It requires so much more caution than treating adults, really. I truly hope your son is seeing a therapist regularly, and that your psychiatrist is also a specialist trained specifically in child and adolescent psychiatry. With younger patients, you have to monitor their progress constantly—it's non-negotiable. As far as I know, there aren't actually a massive amount of clinical trials conducted specifically on children regarding Zoloft. How is the OCD manifesting? Is it more the intrusive obsessions or the repetitive compulsions? You really need to iron out all those uncertainties with your doctor. In my opinion, when it comes to kids and teens, it’s never a bad idea to seek a second opinion from another expert who might be even more specialized in this area.

Furthermore, when dealing with children or adolescents, it is essential that the entire family is involved in the therapy. Family dynamics must be analyzed and monitored, meaning work should be done not just with the child, but with all family members.

Does anyone happen to know what the current going rate is for a box of Seroquel at a local pharmacy?

I’ve heard rumors that it might be $267!

I heard it was around 500

Kenneth Scott41, are those Seroquel pills actually messing with your head?
It’s just that feeling where you start sensing you're getting weaker or physically run down.

Well, I definitely felt it at first, though I suppose it really depends on the dosage. Back when I was taking a hundred milligrams, I used to walk around feeling completely trashed, almost like I was drunk... but now, I don't feel a thing.☕

Look, I’d suggest staying indoors if you can manage it, at least until around 6:00 PM. For those of you who aren't exactly the most cautious types out there, just be careful out there.😁

I’ve been taking a cocktail of Fever, Messer, and Sanville to help me sleep for about ten days now. From what I can tell, my mood has stabilized somewhat, and I’ve managed to take the edge off those debilitating panic attacks.

I assume this is a relatively mild combination of medications. However, the real issue is that I feel completely useless throughout the day. It’s just fatigue, fatigue, and more fatigue... My concentration has evaporated entirely; I can’t even make it through a short article in the New York Times. To be fair, I struggled with focus and exhaustion even before starting this regimen, but now it feels like the situation has actually taken a turn for the worse.

Will I ever actually wake up feeling refreshed? In other words, will my body ever truly adjust to these drugs?
Is anyone else dealing with similar issues?

It should pass once your body gets used to the routine. During my first week on therapy, I basically slept through everything. A few weeks after that, I wasn't sleeping quite as much, but the side effects were honestly awful—though they seem almost funny to me now. 🙂 Constant yawning, night sweats, dilated pupils, light sensitivity... it was a lot. But after about a month, most of it subsided or at least became much more manageable.
So don't worry too much; just hang in there a little longer. 😉

My psychiatrist put me on Zane for sleep a while back. It actually worked—helped me drift off without any weird auditory hallucinations or feeling like my personality was shifting. But last night? Total bust. Like I was swallowing nothing at all.🤷At first, I figured she’d just handed me a placebo, but no way. I didn't sleep a wink. Took the standard 10 mg dose right before bed, but nothing happened. Just spent the whole night staring at the wall waiting for the sun to come up.🙂I react way too strongly to other meds,😁 so she cut me off.

I'm on Zane too, and personally, it works great for me without any side effects. I take 20 mg, which definitely does the trick. That's pretty much the ceiling for the dosage.

Honestly, I was terrified of taking four at once; I could barely bring myself to take one 5mg pill.🤷Past bad experiences with sleep meds left me paranoid. I took one 5mg pill around 11 PM, then another around 1:30 AM, and I was out cold—dreaming about shopping on eBay.🤣But every time I checked the clock at 3, 3:30, or 4, I was still awake. I had this same reaction to Zane about two years ago, though. It just stopped working entirely. Like I was taking placebos.🤷I'm not touching anything stronger. The side effects are brutal—brain fog, hallucinations, memory loss... stuff like that. I'd rather just have two tequilas and go yell at people on a forum instead.😁

Ugh, tell me about it. When I think back to those dreams and all those weird side effects... absolute nightmare. I really don't want to take anything that might trigger parasomnia. Personally, I don't take Zane every single day; I'm too worried about getting hooked. And I'm very careful about timing—I make sure I'm already tucked into bed with as few distractions as possible before I take it. I have the 10 mg capsules, so sometimes I just stick to one, sometimes I'll take two.

Have you ever tried Prazin? That's what I use to help me sleep.
