Fair enough. There were times where the poor girl just lost it out of pure fear. I felt pretty pathetic back then. Nothing much going on. I didn't even notice the group chat was active, but we all know who used to run the show there. Now that the US finally got a high-quality moderator that everyone actually respects, things feel smoother, but I still haven't seen that crazy energy in the chat that used to drive the US side wild.

Moderator quality and performance are everything on a forum like this. Honestly, the current mess is a direct result of poor moderation. I don't get why we don't have someone dedicated to managing the US section properly, because it’s pretty obvious the current mods can't handle it. Their only solution seems to be muting the Group chat and calling it a day. So what does that actually achieve? Peace and quiet? Since when was "silence" the whole point of a forum? A forum should be a place of debate and energy, not a ghost town. As far as I can remember, the Group chat wasn't even active until this season, and now that it's finally buzzing, the mods shut it down because they couldn't manage it. They could have just handled things simply when they got out of hand instead of killing the vibe entirely. 🍿

How stupid do you have to be to report people you don't understand or just disagree with in a public chat, simply because you can't stand them? That's exactly why the moderators closed the chat, plain and simple. This isn't some "malicious construct" on my part; I don't have a malicious bone in my body, I'm just being honest. Honestly, you're the one most to blame because you're constantly reporting posts just because you don't like them. Of course I admit it! Was that even up for debate? Anyone who’s been around here long enough knows the top chat was always the younger, more chill crowd, while the 40+ crowd hung out in the other one—it's logical that the older group would be more uptight. All the drama has always been between the Addams Family and everyone else. It’s the same story every time. It's obvious I can't stand Naus, lord, or Rosie. And yeah, I'm an uptight old guy just like them. What's the problem with that? But I don't see why we need to ruin the top chat where there's never actually been an issue. If people fight there, it's always harmless. I don't get what the goal is here. I'm worried this is going to totally wreck that main chat. Personally, I won't post there just to make sure they don't shut it down by accident. If that happens, where is everyone supposed to hang out? Most of the threads here have been covered a million times already; honestly, it feels like the forum only stays alive because of those chats. But if you guys think this is better, fine. This is a total joke. Honestly, I can’t remember seeing anything stupider than this. Don't you guys get that the forum was basically dead, and those two WhatsApp groups were the only places where people were actually talking? By merging them into one, what did you actually achieve? What was even the issue? Where was the actual harassment? I don't get why moderating a WhatsApp group is such a massive struggle. Like, wtf? A chat is supposed to be a chill spot. We don't all have to love each other or agree on everything. Everyone knows which cliques are which and who hangs out with whom. If anything, it would be better to just let each clique start their own separate chat at the bottom of the forum so they can do their thing there. If I remember right, that’s how you handled things after the chat on ŽUD got shut down. And look at what ŽUD looks like now. Nobody even posts there anymore. I found this comedy pretty hilarious. Plot-wise, it’s the same old story—but hey, what else are you expecting from a movie about giant transforming robots? That said, it works fine as a release valve if you're just messing around in a chill setting. It gets ugly when someone loses their cool and starts hurling insults at everyone in sight. That's when things get dangerous because those words act as a catalyst for physical aggression, which shows up in how a person carries themselves. I don't really get why people link verbal outbursts so closely to physical violence, but it's pretty interesting how people instinctively reach for profanity when they snap. 🤔
