I tried my absolute hardest to sit through this thing, I really did, but it’s just not happening. Just like I called it, the whole thing is incredibly pretentious and trying way too hard to be "trendy"—it’s honestly exhausting. Major props to anyone who actually manages to watch this until the credits roll; I genuinely respect the hell out of you.

ho ho ho! james cameron likes murina 🙏
Some people would try to turn this whole conversation into some massive, over-the-top media circus, but honestly? Even this little clip is proof enough that Murina—and yeah, I'm talking about Antoneta—is the real deal. Still waters run deep, man. ☕

Raymond Anderson4 said:What kind of joke is that? His movies are all over the place, and honestly, that’s his whole thing—he keeps throwing different plots at you. His actual issue is just how he pulls them off... but look, he’s got some decent stuff under his belt, like San Diego, Glass, Unbreakable, and Signs...
Btw, I don't even see this "riding the coattails of his old fame" thing everyone talks about, nor do I think he's being pushed by the studios based on past glory. If anything, his movies fly totally under the radar; they aren't some big media-hyped blockbusters.
Everything he does follows the exact same pattern. Just endless mystery, tension, twists, blah blah blah, and then at the end, the whole thing turns out to be total crap.
He really needs to shoot a comedy just to loosen up a bit.☕

Because man, it’s like he’s stuck on loop. He just churns these movies out, trying way too hard to hit that same winning jackpot over and over, but honestly? Nobody's buying it anymore. It's getting stale.
He seriously needs to pivot, you know? Try a different genre or just shake things up with something totally fresh for once.
Instead, he's just coasting, basically living off his old hits like a leech.
Look, when he wasn't chasing after some big hunt, the guy was alright, you know? But ever since he started chasing the kill, he’s just completely lost his way.
hey man! if you’re gonna write "a man called this" instead of just saying A Man Called Otto, then honestly, go jump in a lake. you're asking for trouble ☕
It’s basically just a straightforward, decent little thriller where the director manages to smooth over most of those secondary flaws with some pretty snappy pacing. Honestly, Gerald Butler is a perfect fit for this kind of role; he carries the whole thing on his back effortlessly.
Every Black guy in this movie is bald as hell, like a bunch of billiard balls rolling around.
If it were up to me, I would've cranked up the heat at the end and thrown in some intense, steamy action right there in the belly of the plane. (Bonnie, the flight attendant, looked like she was ready to get down and dirty) 🙂

For real. Honestly, she’d probably nail a role playing some weird alien from outer space instead.☕
Kyle White3 said:but see, that’s kind of the charm, isn't it? why do we always need some character to be "relatable" or someone to feel bad for? there's something almost poetic about everyone getting wrecked because they're all terrible people (well, by certain standards, obviously—not everyone's gonna see them that way) 😁
this movie is straight-up twisted and dangerous. I honestly don't get how they even got this past the MPAA. spoiler alert! I can't decide what's more brain-dead: the actual motive behind why this psycho slaughtered those people (and himself), or the whole weird deal with who he decided to let live and how he went about it 🤷
Dennis Martin6 said:It’s this weird, wild mashup of J-horror vibes and that super intense Italian giallo style. If we weren't dealing with how prudish American audiences get about anything remotely erotic, you could actually argue this is a cult masterpiece of that whole ero-guro aesthetic. The only real letdown is that James Wan just hasn't hit that visual peak yet—you know, nowhere near the level of someone like Argento or Douglas Sirk. 😁 Anyway, it's still miles better than that clinical, soulless 'Conjuring' crap.👍
Come on man, give us some actual constructive criticism instead of just keyboard warrior nonsense.👍
This whole thing is a total abortion of what Squid Game was supposed to be. Like, sure, I feel for those desperate people in the show, but watching this? I don't feel a damn thing. And that cheeseburger at the end? Honestly made me want to gag. It was just pointless. If you aren't washing it down with a Coke 🙂 The only reason I even stuck it out until the credits rolled was because of Ralph
Man, I used to be just like Cinque. I was constantly dancing right on the edge of a cliff, practically begging for trouble. It was a miracle I didn't end up completely blowing my entire future—like, one wrong move and everything goes up in smoke. But I survived. And honestly? That whole mess actually taught me something. Hey moderator, you guys weren't wasting your time messing with me; eventually, I just mellowed out and became as soft as a damn marshmallow.
Cinque is just young and green. You could probably toss him a little bait, like a tiny worm, and he’d gulp it down like some starving beast. He gets triggered way too easily by anything coming from the Barca crowd.
Just let him hang out on the forum. The hook is sitting there, steady, waiting for someone to bite. One day, when he finally learns how to chew through the hook without getting caught himself, then he'll settle down. That day is coming.
At the end of the day, this is all just a joke anyway. Stop trying to get in people's heads and give them complexes. Let the guy live his life.
Give him back his avatar, give him his dignity back ☕
