I suppose this morning's listen to the new Franz Ferdinand was likely my last attempt at enjoying them. Probably. They sound even worse than their previous work... there isn't anything particularly catchy about it, and I found the whole thing rather tedious.

And honestly, everything has already been said in this thread 🙂 regarding that whole point made on the first page; there’s a chance I might be drawn to someone who doesn't even care about music, maybe just someone who is really into R&B or hip hop... I don't fall in love easily, but when that does happen, I tend to go all in, 😁 provided our interests align.
I suppose all my nights out, my savings, and even my precious free time are pretty much tied up in music and hitting up shows... there's just no way I could ever be with someone who doesn't care about music, or maybe someone who just has questionable taste by my standards. It simply wouldn't work. 😁
My top seven worst ways to wake up: 1. Waking up with a sudden jolt 2. Being jolted awake far too early 3. That groggy, mindless waking where you just don't care about anything🙂 4. Coming out of a particularly nasty nightmare 5. Waking up and feeling completely disoriented about where you actually are 6. Realizing you missed the bed entirely and ended up on the floor 7. Waking up squeezed in a bed full of people—though I suppose that might be funny in some contexts...😁

I suppose most people have at least heard of Noir Désir... though I'm not entirely sure what became of them lately, given those old rumors about the lead singer's domestic issues and whether the band just fell apart because of it... not that it would be a massive loss to the scene, per se, but still... 😁the language is quite lovely, so certain tracks tend to sound rather pleasant...

Back on June 10th, while I was over in downtown Chicago, I managed to lose one of my hair ties—part of a little collection featuring various American farm animals... this particular one had a goose on it. If anyone happens to find it, I’d be quite grateful if you could return my little goose tie. Thanks.
Eh... it was alright, I suppose... I wasn't feeling entirely like myself, so I probably wasn't much of a factor in the overall vibe... I was mostly expecting something pretty dull, but it turned out to be quite decent... 🙂 the bluegrass band played really beautifully, and they even seemed to let loose and have some fun by the end... haha... and it was quite an experience standing right up front, half-expecting to get hit in the head with a guitar at any moment... here are a few photos, hope you enjoy them:

Well, Sancho Panza over here spent six months fully convinced that the flash on that camera was simply incapable of turning off... until I had this sudden, brilliant epiphany yesterday that it actually could, and I managed to stumble upon some little button with a lightning bolt drawn on it. So, perhaps we might finally see some photos where people aren't squinting so intensely... maybe...
Well, if you’re pitching it that enthusiastically, I suppose it must be worth something... perhaps I might stick around through the weekend to see it for myself... 🙂 (though please, try not to go overboard by hitting everything in one massive burst of energy... 😁 )
