Search is broken in Forum Help! ·

You can spam links until you're blue in the face, but clearly, nobody gives a damn.
Reason for ban is visible to everyone in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Look, we already know this. Search isn't working for everyone across the board right now. It’s not some grand conspiracy; it’s just a technical glitch. I’m honestly hoping someone who actually understands the backend will step up and let us know when things are back to normal.
There was even a general announcement about it from rustydrifter10, though it seems it’s just not showing up for those using Tapatalk.

I honestly thought the search function was just broken across the board. So, what you're saying is it only fails when I'm trying to dig through posts from banned users?

Exactly.

- You probably won't get banned just for throwing out a single word in all caps. But if you make it your personal habit to scream half your posts, I’d personally—and I think the other mods would too—issue you a warning card. There are plenty of ways to emphasize a point without shouting; according to online etiquette, using all caps is considered yelling, and our forum rules explicitly state it shouldn't be used for that purpose.

- On this forum, you are Zachary Bailey3. That is how you should be addressed, period. Whether you know someone personally outside of this digital space is your business, but here, we respect people's anonymity unless they've gone out of their way to share their identity with everyone. Even then, you have to handle that information with care. If a user hasn't explicitly stated, "I have five kids," then even if you happen to know that fact, you ought to keep it to yourself.

It wasn't mockery or anything of the sort; quite frankly, the only thing you could possibly walk away with by engaging in any kind of transaction with a guy like that is a massive headache. So, the real question is, "Are you honestly so bored with your life that you feel the need for this?" I'm sorry if I didn't spell it out for you, but I truly assumed someone with your level of experience navigating online marketplaces would know exactly what I meant.
But fine, let's just assume this is settled.

I wasn't being sarcastic; I was genuinely appalled. This entire thread serves as a warning to steer clear of ads exactly like this one, yet here comes some "seasoned" forum veteran swooping in with a question like that. I have no words.
And as far as the ban goes, it’s for pure arrogance and rudeness, and I am sticking to my guns on that.

Who exactly are we talking about when we say "you people"?
Hate speech in signatures? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
It seems some people truly struggle to grasp the definition of hate speech. Just take a look at Frankenstein's post above; he manages to squeeze in one single slur right before his own comment.

We are currently working on this, and it will be resolved shortly.
How to track my posts and replies? in Forum Help! ·
Once you click on the menu options (located on the blue bar at the top left: options, FAQ, member list, etc.), a side menu will slide out. Select "Edit Options" and look for this section:

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

From there, you can designate exactly how frequently you want to be bombarded with email notifications for your subscribed threads.
If you aren't interested in those constant alerts, you can manually manage your subscriptions yourself (just like Alex Barnes93 laid out above). If you hit the options on that blue bar mentioned earlier, you'll see a full list of all the subscribed topics that currently have new posts waiting for you.

Also, if you happen to be browsing the forum via Tapatalk on your phone, you can access everything you've participated in through its own dedicated menu.

It’s not even about avoiding complaints anymore; at this point, the entire forum would just be reduced to nothing more than Anderson, his immediate family, and a handful of his buddies. 😁

Exactly right.

The overdraft stays active automatically as long as you keep your accounts in good standing and meet the eligibility requirements for the student package. This means starting March 1st, your new limit will be $333. You aren't required to pay back the overdraft itself, though you really ought to be careful not to exceed that $1,000 threshold once interest or other fees start piling up.

Just speaking from a layman's perspective here: I wouldn't go with this Netgear Extender because its transfer speeds just can't compete with the other three options on the table.
If it were up to me, I’d personally pick Netgear Extender simply because it comes with a mobile app. I’m a total sucker for anything I can control from my phone, even if it's a bit of a gimmick 😁
That being said, the D-Link model does actually have a higher rating overall.

That credit limit gets reviewed every six months. If you play by the rules—meaning you don't blow past that $333 limit and stay on top of your Amex payments—they’ll keep extending it until you hit 27.

It seems it was left somewhere among the ruins of the past, right alongside the flawless uptime of our servers. It took me five minutes of fighting through error messages just to submit my first reply on this thread, so I shudder to think how much effort it would take to move a post from one sub-forum to another.
It’s not like you wrote the Declaration of Independence, so please, just re-post your question in the correct section.

From what I’ve gathered, Amex is still valid.

Spam bots are nothing more than automated scripts designed to flood the internet with junk or phishing scams—the kind of garbage messages you see here that consist of nothing but suspicious links or mindless filler text meant to bait you into clicking.
Just report those messages immediately and for heaven's sake, don't touch any of the links. 🙂
