Alias said:I read everything you all write. I listen, I watch, and I talk to many friends. I try to be brave after every single setback, but then the question hits me: "We have been hurt so many times—stabbed in the back over and over again... how much longer can we endure this??"

Where does one find the strength for new challenges or potential relationships? Who can you trust, and how? Is it possible to lose so much self-confidence (as I see happening around me)? These wonderful, successful people, who excel in every other area of life, simply become so insecure after so many romantic failures. What am I supposed to say to them? "Come on, chin up, you have to stay positive!"

The secret to success lies in your energy. You have to radiate confidence to capture attention and succeed in finding a partner. Like parrots, we repeat these platitudes, but while some understand this, others are so rejected and deceived that they become mere shadows of their former selves.

I am still struggling and fighting. I still have hope, but I must admit that people dear to me—especially my guys—have completely sunk. 😢

Please, please... spare me the condescension from those who act so cool behind their keyboards, judging those who have lost all hope or lost their former spark... those who are currently down and just want to withdraw into themselves entirely. And yes, I am not actually writing about myself, but about a dear friend and a few female friends... thanks, regards, peace... out.

Sorry for quoting so much text..

Listen, you can only move forward if you hold your head high. You know, people just sink into a certain monotony and stop trying. Or, after a breakup, they mourn. But there is NO TIME FOR MOURNING. That’s just it. People fall out of sync and don't even know how to swim, let alone show interest in dating. Maybe they'll look for something casual on the side, but that's about it. I know plenty of people like that. Once a relationship ends and you know it's over, you just have to keep moving!

Quote : Fast and Furious said:Since everyone was raving about it, I figured I’d give it a shot. I tried watching just the beginning—you know, as much as you can actually take in while you're fighting with a glitchy computer and waiting for a hard drive to format 😁.

...Well, I watched a few scenes, thought "WTF?", and gave up entirely. And honestly, it felt like a half-baked attempt at an indie flick. Since I don't even speak Canadian, there wasn't much point in struggling through the dialogue anyway....

I am definitely not one for domestic cinema 🙂

fast 😘

Come on, man... 👋

Is it just me, or is this movie actually total garbage?😁

Honestly...
Man, this cold weather tonight is brutal.
Ugh, my skin is acting up again; it's actually stinging quite a bit. I might just have to try some old-school rubbing alcohol tomorrow to see if that helps.
Then, I suppose I'll head to the dermatologist.

Do you really think so? 🤔

I feel kind of bad about grooming my wonderful, NATURAL little forest.😁

So, you know... regarding that first red one, during those initial four or five days... it hasn't actually broken the surface yet. It stays trapped inside, if you catch my drift. It isn't like your typical surface blemish where you can find a spot to press without it hurting, just to get that white pus out. This one underneath? The skin hasn't even broken, but when you apply pressure, it hurts like hell.
I mean, I'm not saying I should just suffer through the pain, but still...
And it’s located right above my... manhood, specifically in the groin area.
You see what I mean?
If it were anywhere else, I wouldn't mind messing with it.
But it's just... ugh.😢

Bradley Davis33 said:I will say it again... as long as whatever popped out isn't green, bloody, or twitching when you yell "Sigourney Weaver," there is absolutely no reason to panic. Honestly, if it was actually going to fall off, it would have happened by now—though, I suppose I can't guarantee it won't just dry up.

Dry up? 😲 😲 🙂 🙂 🙂 You want to see "dry up" when I'm through with you!

I am merely seeking an opinion here! !!!!!!!!!

Listen to you talking about drying up...
Better start sweating...

Well, it won’t come out. It just suddenly popped up out of nowhere, much like how those breakouts tend to appear—painful, but without any actual relief. It is incredibly frustrating. It’s located right above my... well, you know... in that area between the hairs where you can't even get a clear look at it if you tried enough.

You know that sensation when a pimple decides to show up, but it’s deep under the skin? It’s one of those things where you can't even squeeze it, yet the whole area just swells up, feeling like a little hard bead tucked right under the surface of the skin. It hurts quite a bit if you press on it. I used to get these things on my upper torso 😁
but now, it has appeared right above my groin, in the pubic area (that usual spot 😁)
. Honestly, the discomfort is pretty intense, uh...!!!

Should I just wait for this to clear up on its own, or is it time to make an appointment with my doctor?

just bring the highway into the spa.😁 heheheh imagine a massive TV screen in a bathroom that's practically a ballroom, say 10 by 10 feet.😁 then you could really get a clear view of how ugly everything looks.😁

Angela Hill, how's it going?

Thanks. Honestly, since the 14th, I haven't touched a cigarette. It's been ten full days now. We keep moving forward. The cravings aren't hitting as hard, but they still show up occasionally... I DON'T SMOKE!!!

Keep pushing forward, don't smoke...

down with cigarettes!🙂

So, I guess it's my turn to check in. I smoked for four years straight. Since January 14, 2005, I haven't touched a single cigarette. I’m irritable, I'm restless, blah blah blah...
But the smoking is over. It's just too expensive now, and honestly, it's a waste. My lungs were starting to ache. It's true that right now I'm a little... well, nervous, you know?
But I'm not giving in..
I have to go see the doctor for all sorts of things..
Grrr..

Keep your fingers crossed for me..

quietmaker44 said:...was at the theater watching the new release last night. Did any of you catch it? What did you think?

It felt pretty mindless to me. I certainly wasn't prepared for that much nauseating, patriotic sentimentality.

Well, what else could one really expect?
Personally, I didn't hate it.
Worth a watch once if you have nothing better to do—I saw it in theaters when it first came out—but that’s about it. 😁

dustyscout53 said:Did you guys catch that Christmas movie? It's got Billy Bob Thornton as Santa Claus, and this chubby kid playing a chubby kid. Honestly, it was the first comedy that actually had me dying after Zoolander. I ended up watching it on Sunday at like 1:30 AM when the theater was totally empty; I felt a little embarrassed laughing so hard by myself. There’s this one scene where they’re driving in the car and Bill tells him, "You must have taken a hit to the head." And the kid just goes, "Whose head?" Then they start bickering. I was absolutely floored. 😁 😁 😁

How could a movie be anything but great when Santa Claus is a wreck, the kid is overweight and constantly sniffling, and there are even little people involved? My only gripe is that since it’s a somewhat mainstream film, some of the jokes couldn't be quite as radical as they might have been.

It really is that kind of vibe, though. Much like Zoolander, just a silly, goofy comedy. 😁

Anyway, it's definitely worth a watch!

vesnakuša said:Yesterday, while watching Rocky II, I happened to catch The Blair Witch Project. It left me completely shaken. I don't think any movie has ever terrified me quite like that one did. Just three people lost in the woods who eventually stumble upon some house... Truly horrific... There weren't any aliens, mutants, witches, or ghosts—just them and the darkness. It was absolutely terrifying.

What are your thoughts on this film?

That movie scared me too... back when I first saw it six years ago, right after its release..😁 Now we all know it’s just a gimmick.😁
