I’m planning on enrolling my little one in music lessons starting at age five. We don't have a saxophone around the house anymore, but we do have a clarinet 🙂, a synth, and a piano . Plus, they'll be starting English classes at four . I’ve got everything mapped out😍 . (Unlike me, the kid can already sing quite well—or, more accurately, hum along beautifully) . Whenever we visit my former brother-in-law, the kid loves banging on the drums just to make some noise while watching his uncle play the blues🙂 . And since their cousin is a total metalhead guitarist, if my child doesn't end up pursuing music...
Inspector Callahan: Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. 🤣 Clint Eastwood is the absolute legend here.
I have a soft spot for Cobra, but let's be honest—it's pretty rough. The cast is great and the costumes look good, but the story is lacking, and while Brigitte Nielsen has the look, her acting is just subpar. (Rambo is definitely in a different league than Cobra)
Mad Max is a solid film, sure, but Harry really outshines it.
Judge Dredd? Honestly, it was kind of ridiculous.
Schwarzenegger is a fantastic guy, though I think he had much better work than these picks—think The Terminator or Red Heat. Personally, I prefer Conan and Red Sonja.
Dolph Lundgren is a bit silly, much like Jean-Claude Van Damme and that actor I used to catch in theaters back in high school—I'll have to look up his name, maybe Michael Dudikoff.
And where is Charles Bronson in all this? Please! The Dirty Dozen is a masterpiece, but you can't forget Death Wish!
Try some cranberry tea or even cranberry supplements; you can also find cranberry tea at places like Whole Foods The *E. coli* bacteria can't really latch onto the bladder wall because the cranberry creates this protective barrier (that's just my layman's summary of the instructions in 😉 ) But you definitely need to get a urine culture done so they can identify the specific bacteria and prescribe the right antibiotic If this keeps happening, I'd suggest looking into homeopathic pellets—you can find them in almost any local pharmacy
When there’s a total drought of good music, you just listen to whatever is available.
Where did those golden days go? Fio used to be incredible, and Washington, D.C. was on fire. I miss the era of mother, Haustor-Rundek, and Pips—back when they were actually fun instead of just a bunch of sob stories.
Fair enough, Hladno Pivo keeps getting better, while Let 3 thankfully stayed stuck in that swamp of bad taste.
I am feeling sooooo poorly right now, poor me! Everything is spinning, just dizzy—it's my first day at the hospital, mixed with a bit of a light hangover from yesterday. Honestly, I'd much rather have a drink, mama! 😢 😬
I can’t remember a single moment in my life where I’ve felt truly envious. Usually, if I hear someone is doing well, I’m genuinely happy for them—it actually serves as motivation, making me think, "Hey, if they can make it, maybe I can too."
But man, did that change today. We were all grabbing coffee at the office when a new colleague walks up and says, "Hey, if you guys hear about anyone selling an apartment, let me know." -"What kind of budget are we talking about?" we asked, totally naive, -"About $250,000," he replies, acting all nonchalant. -"Does location matter to you?" -"Of course. I definitely don't want anything in Brooklyn; I'm looking more toward areas like Central Park or similar." -"Ah, $250,000 won't get you much there." -"Actually," he says, "money isn't really the issue. It could be $350,000. It doesn't matter." And he says all this with the same casual shrug you'd use to tell a story about finding a decent burger joint.
Damn it. It actually frustrated me. I was green with envy.😢🙂 To have that kind of money and just toss the amount around with such total indifference.
Does this sting a little for anyone else? Come on, tell me I'm not alone.
At first, they told me I just had strep throat (for nine whole days!), only to find out it was actually mono . But during that entire stretch, my fever was hovering between 102 and 106 degrees , and I felt absolutely wiped out .
One of the primary symptoms is this overwhelming exhaustion, followed by days of high fever and then a sore throat... You might have picked it up from a friend if you were close enough to share saliva (?)
The only way to be certain is to head to an infectious disease clinic; you'll know pretty quickly Some people breeze through it without even realizing they were sick, while others end up hospitalized (like me) But I'm sure you'll be just fine, 100%
