For this particular genre, I’d say it’s quite a solid entry. I really appreciated how they moved away from those black-and-white character tropes to show people as actual, complex human beings. There isn't really a "villain" here. The fashion industry isn't being glorified, yet it isn't being mocked either; it feels like a very grounded look at the business and the mindset behind it.
Meryl Streep is, naturally, a force of nature—true old-school talent. 🙂 All in all, a very charming film.
