Personal Top Lists & Rankings in Music ·
5 things I’d love to do:

1. Cruise through downtown Washington, D.C. in a convertible, blasting some killer alternative music from a massive sound system

😬

2. Head to a major tourist hub and pretend I don't understand a single word of English... while being incredibly stubborn about it...

3. Make a complete fool of myself at a fancy party by peeing in the punch bowl.

4. Spit on the steps of the NBC building.

5. Use three young maidens to help me carry heavy stuff.

...

...or at least actually study for my exams.

Michael Anderson10 said:So, which movies are they actually parodying?

Saw, The Grudge, Brokeback Mountain, Village, War of the Worlds, Hustle & Flow, Fahrenheit 9/11 at certain points, Tom Cruise (it's not his movie, but they roast him), and pretty much everything else...

They didn't even do the third part.

Daniel Booth88 said:Good grief, if I hadn't already read the book, I would have been asking myself, who on earth is this Elvis guy?? 🙂

I initially thought the guy was a total dud, but he actually bears a striking resemblance to him...
He isn't quite as handsome as Elvis Presley, but he definitely shares that look...
At the end of the day, the movie is about Cash, so there’s no way they’re going to shove some polished Elvis Presley into the mix.

Maria Nelson35 said:once the lights came up, I overheard about ten trendy makeup artists in boots tucked into skinny jeans calling the movie trash while simultaneously deciding which nightclub they were hitting later.

Man, I bet those were the same people I saw when I watched the movie about the mountain. One girl was actually yelling at her friend because she'd promised there wouldn't be any kissing scenes, and then they both ended up laughing during the actual kissing scenes. She was the one complaining in the first place...

As for the movie about Cash.
I have to admit it’s solid, but it isn't anything groundbreaking or deep enough to truly capture who Cash was as a man. That said, the lead actors are fantastic—absolutely wonderful—and they can actually sing.
I knew every single song, except for those catchy ones by June Carter Cash.
It felt a bit off, though... why did the Elvis Presley portrayal look so ugly?

Unfortunately, I fell asleep right when the old man escaped from the hospital, so I missed the ending, but up to that point, it was 👍

Those are actually two different movies.

Even Brad Pitt didn't know who she was until Lindsay introduced herself.
Robert Altman to receive an Honorary Oscar in Movies ·
I’d suggest the Academy start giving Oscars to the people who actually deserve them, instead of scrambling to hand out honorary awards at the last minute.
Idiots.

Lindsay Lohan is a tear-jerker... honestly, the woman just became a Classic.

Best sequels to cult films from 2006/2007? in Movies ·
If even one of those titles turns out to be half as good as the original, I’ll consider it a win.
That doesn't mean I'm going to watch everything on the list, or that they'll all actually get made...
DreamWorks studio sold in Movies ·
They just weren't pumping out enough movies...
Even if every single release turned a profit without breaking a sweat—with even their average flicks pulling in massive amounts of cash—it still wasn't enough. You can't sustain that kind of momentum with such low volume, no matter how high the quality is...
Mercury Records at Aquarius? in Music ·

Where else would you have them?

Maybe we can talk them into moving the location...
maybe start a petition or something like that.

Richard Hernandez13 said:Exactly. That is, until experts turned around and claimed that Emperor Penguins are actually serial monogamists—with about 85% of them pairing up with a different mate every single season.

I honestly have no idea how they even verify if they are sticking with the same partner or switching things up. Penguins all look identical to me...

Elaborate.
I just finished watching a royal journey.
There was something really captivating about seeing how those penguins live their lives.
It was actually quite heavy—morbid and heartbreaking in parts, yet sweet at the same time. It felt like a mix of horror, drama, action, and even romance...

😍
