Joshua Martinez7, I honestly thought you might be capable of grasping the basic concept of context here, but clearly, my expectations were just way too high for you.
I’ve already put my two cents in if anyone else has anything worth sharing, feel free to drop a link right here; honestly, it doesn't even have to be about Muslims
Jason Clark7, are you actually suggesting that every single Muslim is exactly the same? Does it suddenly become a personal insult to you if someone happens to have an opinion about people from Egypt or Pakistan?
Look, I'll be blunt: racism and hate speech aren't okay, period. It doesn't matter who the target is.
amberangler99, you’ve got all this drama going on in your real life too, so there's really no need to go through the ritual of burning yourself out on the town square every single week 🙂 Look, if you actually have a sense of justice and all this stuff genuinely bothers you, you always have options: you can report any post that breaks the rules, you can take it up with the PZK, or you can just shoot a quick DM to one of the supermods or an admin... It’s just as easy to simply log off and stop visiting a place you don't even like, without making all these grand gestures that don't actually accomplish anything or help anyone involved
I honestly think feraltrucker5 hit the nail on the head here by pointing out that while the forum technically holds the right to decide what kind of content stays up or goes down, that doesn't change the fact that the actual authorship still belongs to the creator, plain and simple.
Look, I’m definitely not some high-priced lawyer, and who knows what other legal loopholes or technicalities might be lurking in the shadows, but I feel like this pretty much covers the essence of what we’re actually trying to figure out here.
If you ever stumble upon someone ripping off your story or any other creative work you've put out there, you've got options—you can either take them to court yourself, or just hire a specialized agency to handle the legal heavy lifting for you. The main thing is simply having enough evidence on hand to prove that the work was originally yours in the first place.
People have the right to show up, and they certainly have the right to walk away. I’m pretty sure most of us here have cycled through various different places, and honestly, some of us probably still are. At the end of the day, nobody owes anyone else an explanation, and frankly, one person's personal baggage or reasoning doesn't mean much to the rest of the world. If someone decides down the road that they actually want to come back to the forums, the admin team will take a look at whatever caused their ban in the first place.
It’s not even about whether clicking a button is difficult for me, it’s just that this whole performative, self-pitying pathetic routine absolutely gets under my skin. Seriously, if someone actually wants to end it all, they should go find something tall and jump onto something hard instead of trying to stage some grand, dramatic final scene right here on this forum. And honestly, anyone who feels the need to act like this—well, they really ought to have a little disclaimer in their signature note stating that they are, by their own design, nothing more than a pompous fool.
Man, honestly, once those database issues hit, the whole counter just completely tanked. I haven't a clue what stage they're at with all this patching and tidying up, but I’m hoping along with everyone else that they finally get the database optimization sorted soon, because then maybe—just maybe—we'll actually see a post count that reflects reality instead of this mess.
If they decide to show up on the forum again, they’ll be back, but let’s be real, 44antinl definitely has way more posts than what's actually being displayed here
I’m not exactly blushing about it either In fact, I’m pretty damn sure I’ll keep right on calling things as I see them whenever I stumble upon something worth pointing out
