Unfortunately, there’s actually more than one way to look at that. Besides, there are plenty of chat sites out there, so it doesn't necessarily have to be a forum that serves as the place for hanging out and chatting.
Honestly, it might be worth sending a link to this entire thread to someone actually in charge over at the Police Academy, just so they can take a good, long look at who they're letting through the doors to become future officers of the law.
The astrology mods are sticking to their guns about restructuring this subforum so it actually serves the practice and the people who genuinely care about it rather than just being a dumping ground I’m honestly on their side here; I can't stand seeing the chat threads cluttered with random nonsense, especially when people start forming little cliques or getting into petty drama every five minutes.
Look, since we’ve already got those "general discussion" subforums available, I really don't see much point in hanging around the astrology section just for the sake of having something to chat about here. I have zero interest in all those other forums, Facebook groups, or random online hobbyist circles.
Nancy Peterson3, first off, please forgive my slow response here from what I can gather, there’s a whole mess of different narratives swirling around, whether you’re picking them up on Facebook or just hearing them through the grapevine in real life it also seems to me that the moderators have basically reached an agreement to keep the astrology chat reserved specifically for those who actually practice it or at least have a genuine interest in the subject given that I stumbled upon your post where you explicitly mentioned you don't even have any connection to astrology, I honestly can't wrap my head around what kind of forum logic would lead someone to join a discussion like that in the first place
We’ll get around to implementing a points system for posts once we finally kill off anonymous reporting and the whole cloning issue, because frankly, votes don't mean much if they don't actually carry any weight. 2. I suspect we'll eventually roll out Facebook login options, though I honestly wonder if that's even a smart move given how much people value their privacy here, but I suppose everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to deal with that 3. Politicians are more than welcome to jump into the conversation, and they might even land a sort of protected status if they reach out directly to the owner or shoot an email over to marketing@google.com Ultimately, it’s up to them to figure out if they actually have the backbone to face public scrutiny without just hiding away, or if they’re even capable of giving a straight answer instead of just peddling those empty, meaningless political platitudes.
I’m honestly not quite sure where to draw the line on whether something that’s genuinely annoying can actually be considered useful from a marketing standpoint. 🙂 Just off the top of my head, I’d say it’s mostly counterproductive, unless you’re specifically targeting those people who spend their entire lives tinkering with ad blockers.
musa , look, on this forum we’ve got regular users, moderators, and admins, at least within this specific corner of the internet we don't go around judging folks based on race, religion, or who they love... you're more than welcome to flag any posts you think are breaking the rules, just like anyone else here can, and then the moderators will weigh in to decide if any action actually needs to be taken this whole thing where you seem to have some sort of specialized radar specifically tuned for Muslims really says a lot more about your own mindset than anything else, but I'm flatly rejecting these insinuations that there's any discrimination or intolerance toward Muslims happening here if we're going to play that game, honestly, I think we see plenty of examples of intolerance elsewhere, including instances where criminal behavior from the Muslim community was basically given a pass and tolerated right up until it crossed every single line of decency and civilized society
I don't think that’s quite enough to warrant a ban, though I can see why you might have landed there 🙂 Is religion itself equal to fascism? Or is it just the forced imposition of religion that counts as fascism?
The post counter has been acting totally glitchy for quite a while now, so honestly, it doesn't mean a damn thing It’s not like they went around nuking your specific posts or anything, though it is entirely possible that a thread or two just got migrated into a sub-forum that doesn't actually track the count
Look, they aren't actually claiming it needs to be repeated or insisting that it’s some kind of moral high ground, nor are they providing any sort of actual context here It’s just mentioned in passing, so there isn't really a reason why it should bother us or carry any weight at all The way it stands right now, it's entirely up to how we choose to read into it: we could interpret it as an endorsement, or we could see it as a warning, or maybe even something else entirely
then just play fair yourself act like a real member of this Forum, post your own thoughts, and go ahead and vent if you feel like you're being treated unfairly, but please stop trying to play the martyr or some sort of misguided revolutionary my goal isn't to drive you away, or anyone else who actually uses this Forum the right way—you know, playing fair, if that’s what you want to call it if anything, the more people there are with actual opinions and things to contribute, the better it is for the Forum and for all of us in general but I'm done sitting back and watching the manipulation and the constant little theatrics with nothing but a smirk on my face; I'm telling you now that from here on out, I’m going to react firmly, regardless of what anyone might think of me at any given moment
