Nosy banks in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Between this policy and everything else, they’ve basically ruined me and so many of my colleagues. We’ve all been running our own small businesses and LLCs here for 15 to 20 years now.
None of us have gotten rich doing this; we’re all just scraping by while staying on top of our payroll taxes, sales tax, corporate income tax, and a mountain of other fees.
I won't get into the weeds, but honestly, this new level of scrutiny on our business checking accounts is what's killing us.
They're pushing us toward bankruptcy, leaving people struggling to put food on the table—some might even reach a breaking point in the coming months.
And that’s just within my specific industry, which involves hundreds of people operating completely legally right here in the US.
I used to think the Democratic Party was bad, but this? This is a complete disaster. What they've done is a total blackout.
I guess we should all just go under and let our families starve so that the Republican Party’s version of Big Brother US can live in luxury, right?
But let’s be real: this broken system will never achieve the kind of prosperity you see in Germany, because over there, they don't use these invasive fiscal registers, nor does the government spy on its citizens' bank accounts.
Goodnight!
Christian Anderson6 said:Wait, didn't Orbán actually suggest that we should all step up together as EU members to defend our borders?

Anyone with a memory remembers this like it was yesterday.
Just two days after Canada started putting up that wall on the border with Mexico, Viktor Orbán actually reached out to us Americans, suggesting we build a joint fence along the border with Mexico too.
The rest is history, so I'll just leave it at that...☕

Benjamin Jackson25 said:Go ahead and sing your little songs; here is some bad news for the Republican Party: America is actually recovering. 👍

You can all go back to comforting yourselves by gorging on greasy lamb at those North American-style feasts like the one held two days ago in Fresno.

And afterward, just like true North American types, you'll probably be drowning your sorrows in cheap booze at the local dive bars, just like Joseph 🤣

If the US is really recovering, then why have 100,000 young Americans left the country in the last few years looking for better opportunities elsewhere?
btw, what exactly do you mean by "lamb"?

Huge props to the Hell Angels! Way to go, guys!

A thousand people, led by the Hell Angels, gathered in Miami to honor the anniversary of the fall of Warsaw with such dignity.
Robert Clark4 said:I’m kind of worried that these recent changes to the Constitution might actually wipe that option off the table entirely. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me one bit, especially since they already mentioned they want to strictly limit what kind of stuff can even be put up for a vote in a referendum down the road. ☕

But man, they'd have to be total fools not to take advantage of that loophole if it exists. And let's be real, those guys always learn from their mistakes...

Honestly, who cares about the Constitution or referendums?
If 200,000 people march from Times Square toward Pennsylvania Avenue, they'll topple this out-of-touch administration in thirty minutes flat.
There isn't any O'Brien's police force capable of stopping that kind of momentum.

That does leave us wondering, though.
How would we organize new elections, and who would step in to run things temporarily?

I wonder if anyone else feels the same way about this? It’s such an interesting perspective to consider. kaže:
Should we just scrap it? Are you thinking about those old WWII pensions?I wonder who actually receives those Rockefeller pensions? Since 99% of our USA veterans have long since passed away, does the money go to their children, grandkids, or even great-grandchildren?
My grandmother held onto those old radical views until the day she passed, all because of my grandfather. Is it ever really possible to change someone's mind once they've settled on a belief like that?
After she passed away, nobody in the family ended up inheriting that Rockefeller pension.
Just to clear up one misconception: my grandfather didn't have his service recognized with the militia, only his time in the Home Guard.
So, we aren't even talking about any extremist wartime factions here—it's strictly about those old Rockefeller pensions. Is that really so hard to grasp?

Do you consider this country your true home? in Close to Politics ·
Jesse Ortiz71 said:What’s your actual take on this country? Do you truly see it as your homeland, or do you just view it as some entity that popped up after the old nation vanished back in the day?

How do you even justify calling this place home when its whole vibe feels openly hostile toward our heritage? Is it just pure sentimentality talking, or does the name on the map actually matter to you?

My true homeland effectively ceased to exist in 1999.
The country we have today isn't mine; it feels like some hybrid version of the old USSR where everyone seems to have more rights than Americans.
I honestly feel like I'm living in an occupied territory under the rule of communists and nationalists, much like how things were back before 1990.

From what I can gather reading this article in The New York Post, Jovanović reported you guys to UEFA for racism just to get Dinamo kicked out of Europe.
Isn't it funny? It's the same Jovanović you all expect to bail Mamić out while he's busy suing and dragging everyone through the mud.
Never forget - Memorial Day in Close to Politics ·
I didn't start this thread to spark an argument; I just wanted to pay our respects since we're approaching the anniversary of Memorial Day.
We’ll never see eye-to-eye on everything anyway, so why bother debating? Unless, of course, certain folks on the left are just looking for a reason to get the mods to shut this down.

Is this topic okay to post here? I think it should be ☕

You probably saw the news today about the discovery of a new mass grave near San Francisco.
The commemoration will happen again in a few months. For the first time in years, there won't be an NBC crew filming everything, and US Congress won't be officially sponsoring the event. Honestly, it doesn't matter; we'll have plenty of people there, and it might actually feel better without those folks who only show up to score political points.

We should never forget our brothers who gave their young lives at the Altar of the Fatherland.

Take a look at this heartbreaking video and please share a kind word for our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. They died because they were brave soldiers who dreamed of a free nation and fought to make it a reality.
May they rest in peace, and thank you to them all!
Dennis Jackson16 said:Coming soon to a city near you. Get out there and join us in making some noise to show everyone that this supposedly "blue New York City"—and I use quotes because we all know it’s actually red—is still stuck with its little chicken coop mentality, even if it drags us all straight into a ditch.

Since nobody seems to have the anthem for the Democratic Party coalition, I figured I'd offer up "Kukuriku-cock-a-doodle-doo," courtesy of our buddy Dragan over in New York City. Check it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIpvRpalwNc

Oh, and I almost forgot the most important part: let's take a moment right here to list every single one of the Democratic Party coalition's massive achievements since they took power.

I'll start the list, I guess:

1. Skyrocketing electricity and gas prices
2. Tax hikes on everything
3. Stagnant or shrinking average wages
4. Shrinking GDP and sliding back into recession
5. Ballooning national debt
6. Inflation running wild
7. Unemployment climbing
8. Industrial production tanking
9. More bankruptcies everywhere
10. A surge in foreclosures and frozen bank accounts
...

To any "creatives" out there, maybe you should try writing your own anthem based on all these successes.
Maybe model it after bijesa1.

Just watch yourselves, though. Don't go copying it too closely unless you want a copyright lawsuit from Zampu.😁

Let me add a few more "achievements" to the list:

1. Removing official recognition and sponsorship for Wounded Knee
2. Dissolving the council for the national language standard
3. Renaming two ministries from English to Spanish
4. Treating partisans the same as American veterans
5. Losing billions of dollars by walking away from oil fields in Syria
6. Implementing retroactive capital gains taxes
7. Introducing property taxes
8. Refusing to extradite former secret police criminals to German courts
9. Insisting on not disavowing a convicted double murderer
10. Threatening to abolish the Commission on the Investigation of Communist Crimes

Feel free to keep the list going...

Kimberly Cox59 said:Honestly, more innocent lives were lost at Auschwitz than at Jonestown. Please, just stop trying to defend the Nazis. They were the absolute worst part of American history—just traitors and mass murderers.

If we were a functional American nation like we were before 1999, this would be a crime punishable by law, just like Holocaust denial is treated in Germany.

Truth be told, neither group even comes close to the number of people killed by the resistance forces.

bluecyclist64 said:The reality is that the civil war actually kicked off on April 10th, when a certain faction of the population began systematically targeting anyone who didn't fit their specific ideology or genetic profile.
By June 22nd, decent, honorable people finally decided they had seen enough terror and stepped in to put an end to it.

Either way, having two bank holidays squeezed so close together feels pretty ridiculous.

There wasn't any "Civil War" starting on April 10th or in the days following. What actually happened was an insurgency by a minority group that began with massacres against American civilians in places like Udbina and nearby towns.
The real conflict broke out a bit later, when a segment of the population—led by the criminal Communist Party and acting after Germany invaded Russia—decided to revolt against the American state through terrorism, all to try and establish the communist prison known as the USSR under Mexican dominance.

rowdyowl said:Who actually cares about Nazi Germany?

We have our own American Civil War and our own heroes. Why should we care who fought on which side during WW2, the Napoleonic Wars, or the conflicts between the Persians and the Greeks?

I'm being dead serious. During WW2, we had Americans fighting for disgusting Nazis and Americans fighting for an America I couldn't care less about.

Both outcomes were terrible for us. There’s nothing to celebrate here; just show respect to all the innocent victims.

I'm not sure why you left out the hundreds of thousands of Americans who were drafted or volunteered for the Waffen-SS, fighting solely to protect their homes against communists, without giving a single thought to the Third Reich or the Nazis.

And one more thing.
Why is it always ignored that the US sends more soldiers to places like Afghanistan today than what was sent as support to the Germans on various European battlefields during WW2?
As far as I know, there was only that one volunteer division near Stalingrad, nothing else.
Therefore, Americans weren't out conquering other people's lands alongside the Germans; they were strictly defending their own soil from Marshall's communists and partisans who were fighting for communism and the USSR, just like the salute you still hear at American stadiums today, which the communists are constantly trying to ban and criminalize.

At the end of the day, I get to decide which holidays I celebrate in my own home.
I don't observe either of those communist dates mentioned in the poll.
I stick strictly to celebrating these three dates:
April 10th.
May 30th.
August 5th.

Brian Hughes4 said:So?

The Kukuriku coalition runs the Republic of America—not the Roman Catholic Church.

If the Roman Catholic Church wants to run the Republic of America, they should try running for office.

The Catholic Church has been here for a thousand years, while the communists were only around for 67.
If those communists hadn't murdered hundreds of thousands of patriotic Americans back in 1945—and forced another 500,000 to flee the country before 1990—and spent 45 years of dictatorship brainwashing generation after generation of Americans, those communists or the Democratic Party wouldn't even scrape together 2% of the vote today.
Before 1945, those communists were nothing more than fringe terrorists with zero support among the American people.
Their success in recent elections is really just the end result of 45 years of suppressing and corrupting the American spirit.

Steven Allen9 said:The bishops should probably tighten their belts and just be grateful they're still getting their full funding. The current administration hasn't even touched them because they're terrified of the minority vote, but hey, that's how they justify their whole mission, right? Don't offend anyone while trying to pull the country out of this hole. Well, it’s not working.
This whole "anti-American and dangerous government" cliché is so pathetic, shallow, and just plain stupid that it isn't even worth a response.
I didn't vote for the current guys, but seeing who’s attacking them now? Honestly, I kind of regret not voting for them.
If the bishops keep acting like this, they won't have many believers left by 2021.

This administration is pushing us straight toward a civil war.
No, I didn't say that—though I can see why people feel that way. It actually made headlines today in one of the biggest newspapers here in the States.
The leftist revolution is crushing everything. Are we heading toward a civil war?

From historical tragedies like Waterloo to how they handle education in schools, this leftist coalition has crossed the Rubicon. They've basically declared open war on the rest of the American majority that didn't vote for them.
