Every single year, right when spring starts rolling in, I deal with this inevitable nightmare of dry skin and peeling on my fingertips. It usually hangs around for about a month before clearing up, making it feel like nothing ever happened... and then it just repeats itself every year.
People have suggested everything from vitamin supplements to dietary changes... I’ve tried it all, following every bit of advice thrown my way. Nothing seems to make a dent.
The strange thing is, during those three years I spent living on a tropical island, my skin was perfectly fine. But the second I moved back home to the States and spring hit, boom, here we go again...
On top of the dryness, my fingertips get incredibly sensitive and painful to the touch, which is a massive pain in the ass. Does anyone have any ideas? Any advice at all???
Unless, of course, I just move back to the tropics... 😉

Plus, almost all modern TVs can pick up both signals without an issue, so I don't think it's worth stressing over too much.
Alright, I'll give it a shot and just burn the DVD as-is to see how it turns out. To be honest, I hadn't realized quite how much of a headache this was going to be, which is why I had to reach out for some advice.
One more thing, if you happen to know. I actually put together subtitles for that WMV file in .srt format. I didn't use any specific software or anything; I just took an existing subtitle file from another movie on my hard drive and manually edited the text. It looks pretty decent now. My question is, how complicated is it to actually embed that subtitle file onto a DVD?

Do you really think that would work? Logically speaking, since I'm over here in the States, it feels like it would be better to have a PAL version. Does every single player actually support NTSC? What if someone is still using an older television set? I wouldn't want anyone to end up with a black and white picture or some other glitch because of NTSC compatibility issues.
Please correct me if I'm wrong...
To be brief, I have some old video clips I edited back when I was living in America using Windows Movie Maker, and now I’m looking to burn them onto a DVD that will actually play on any standard player.
A friend of mine offered to help out since he has a DVD burner, but we hit a major snag: the video keeps stuttering constantly. He eventually gave up because he thinks there's a mismatch between the NTSC and PAL frame rates, and apparently, his DVD authoring software just can't handle the conversion properly.
I tried to fix it myself at home by converting the .wmv files into PAL .avi format using Adobe Premiere, but the results were still terrible. I even installed Adobe Premiere, but it won't even open the .wmv files.
Does anyone have any suggestions or, better yet, some actual experience with this? I should probably mention that I'm a total amateur when it comes to this stuff, so please, keep your advice simple enough for a layman like me to follow...
The true essence of life boils down to just three things:
1. Pancakes
2. Sleeping in until noon
3. Good women
The order doesn't really matter much. 🙂
What else is there to say? Just sit down, write out a list of the ten most important things in your world, and make sure they are actually worth living for. That is about as close as you will ever get to finding the "meaning of life." Don't overthink it. Just live your life...
👋
I find her quite charming as well, but shhh, let's keep that between us 🙂 because I wouldn't want Sandra Bullock to get upset 😁
Greetings to my dear Sandra Bullock 👋

It all really comes down to the perspective you take when watching a film.
So, I have to ask—what was your specific perspective? What did it look like from row 8, seat 7 on the right side of the orchestra section? 😁 🙂
I recently had the chance to watch an episode of South Park from the seventh season where Cartman's hand actually plays the role of Jennifer Lopez, and then Ben Affleck shows up and falls head over heels for the hand... they end up falling and kissing, followed by a quick little handjob... all in all, it was pretty terrible 😂

Tarantino really belongs behind bars because someone as disturbed as him shouldn't be allowed walking free on our streets. That specific scene where Buck and that redneck are hovering over Uma Thurman—while she’s just lying there pretending to be in a coma—and he starts explaining the rules to him... it honestly makes me wonder what kind of twisted mind comes up with ideas like that, let alone having the nerve to actually put it on screen.
👍 The film is 👍 👍 👍 👍

That is a fundamental distinction, even though both terms carry various other overlapping nuances.
Bo Burnham: Snoop Dogg, come home 😁 😁 😁 👍

But there will only ever be one Bronson! 😢
It is truly fascinating how a single B-movie icon can influence an entire era of B-movie actors 😉 though I have to agree, there is only one Bronson.
I still recall being about four or five years old and absolutely smashing my first guitar because I was hiding behind the couch, using it like a rifle, completely inspired by The Magnificent Seven. I can still vividly remember the lecture—and the subsequent scolding—I received from my mother for that one... ouch...
I sat down today to watch this seventy-five-minute film, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though the entire plot unfolds right around a single telephone booth, the movie isn't boring in the slightest. The tension and suspense are perfectly balanced, to the point where I could barely even focus on my popcorn 🙂 Honestly, this is the first time I've actually had leftovers at the end of a movie!!! My top recommendation: definitely give this a watch, though you don't necessarily need to head to the theater... watching it on a digital file will do just fine. 👍
Pirates of the Caribbean?! I finally had a chance to sit down and watch it, and honestly, I can't recommend it enough. It isn't anything groundbreaking, but it is incredibly fun from start to finish. Johnny Depp is absolutely brilliant as Captain Jack Sparrow 👍 👍 👍
I honestly have to say... you all have been tearing everyone apart on this board lately! Let's shake things up by changing the rules just a little bit, because at this rate, it's starting to seem like there isn't a single decent actor left in Hollywood. To balance out every single person you've trashed, I want you to nominate one great actor instead. It would certainly make these discussions much more engaging...
