Usually my period is pretty standard—heavy, lasts six days, manageable. But this month😲 since I stopped taking birth control, I can't even think about using tampons for the first two or three days due to the cramps. Luckily I'm on medical leave, otherwise I would've made a massive mess at work today🙄 now I'm experiencing the same thing as you on day two. I had to buy those extra-absorbent maxi pads because the thin ones don't stand a chance. I stuffed two large overnight pads into my underwear; I'm waddling around like a duck and it's just flooding out of me. Whether I walk or lie down, I fill them up within an hour... thinking about going back on the pill.

My grandmother went through the same thing 😢 seeing people staring at her, calling her name, cars passing by... it was just too much for her.

Hmm... are we even on the same page? 😉 I went over to her place, and she totally blindsided me. I told her straight up that I have a boyfriend and that I’d be on birth control, but she just started coming at me with everything she had...🙄 I was 19 at the time. It all started with talk about irresponsible behavior... 😲 And just like that, it was over...
I have a great mentor here, but I just found out today she's retiring... we always had such good talks about everything...😢
Day 47 or 48 of the cycle and still nothing. The PMS is absolutely wrecking me... breast tenderness is through the roof and zero progress. I’m heading to my OBGYN this Friday if my period doesn't show up by then. Honestly, I feel like a ticking time bomb.
Here’s the situation. After giving birth, I was on Cerazette (I started a thread about this before, but maybe it didn't catch on...). I didn't have a period for two years. Once I stopped taking them, my cycle returned. Today I’m at day 36 or 37, and still nothing. I've got those cramps and abdominal pains—it feels like it’s going to start any second, but nothing happens. Just some clear discharge. Naturally, I couldn't help myself. I went out and bought a pregnancy test and those ovulation strips... just because. Even though I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant.
Summary 😁: Not pregnant, but ovulation strips say I am. 😲 I don't get how ovulation can happen this late. I have no one to ask. It's Saturday, and my OBGYN is out on vacation until January 7th. I feel terrible—bloated, sore breasts... I feel like a ticking time bomb. I just want this to finally start. And it feels ridiculous constantly running to check. 🙂

I can't stand it when people swear at someone's mother or any family member. My friends know that about me. One person thought I was joking once, and she took it the wrong way—let's just say things got heated, though we didn't get physical 😬. I don't go around cursing anyone's mother... uhm... 😬 Sometimes my dad will let out a "motherf***er," and I just tell him, "I know, Dad, I know..." p.s. It honestly bothers me when people disrespect the Virgin Mary 😠 (not that I'm a huge believer)
I knew this one woman—thankfully she’s retired now—who would tear a $33 bill to pieces just to get a nickel😠 back. Every single time. You'd see her at the corner bodega every day, and I always ended up leaving behind anything less than a quarter... well, eventually, I started waiting for the change to pile up too😳
Headaches, barely keeping my eyes open, nausea, everything hurts... don't even get me started on my knees... I have zero energy left... today is just one of those days...😢
I've had my donor card since 2002. I figured if I can save someone's life after I'm gone, why not? Plus, if I ever end up needing an organ myself, I'd be grateful. After all, we're all just turning back into dust and feeding the worms eventually... 🙂 So, take whatever is needed, and the rest goes in the urn... 😉

Haven't felt much either. In extreme cases, I've gone through 5 or 10 Red Bulls in a sitting and still felt fine, but let's face it—after a few days without sleep, nothing touches it...🙄
When I'm back home in the Midwest, I drink from the tap because it's actually decent. But once I head down to California, I always buy bottled... 🙂 the tap water there tastes absolutely revolting, almost like someone melted some cheap scrap metal into it. (We've been buying our water there for years now.)

Then one day, a couple sits down at a table, holding hands. When I brought their order over, one of them stood up and pulled out a photo of us together... He came back after five years just to find me because he couldn't let go... He was persistent. He showed up every single weekend...😳
I once had this dream where I was riding a mare... then in the morning, my mother-in-law tells me she dreamed that my father-in-law was riding that same horse and ended up falling off...🤣
I’m always having these weird, pointless dreams, but I just forget them all anyway.🙄
