Are you talking about this thread? If we wanted to make another one a sticky to match this one, which topic do you all think deserves it?
I went ahead and removed slytinker11 since he hasn't been around for a while. It’s not like I wasn't aware—I actually sent him a message a couple of weeks ago, but honestly, I was going to clear him out sometime this week regardless. I do check in on moderation activity from time to time.

Exactly! You hit the nail on the head—reporting things is really just a way to help out. Even with the best intentions, moderators might miss something here and there, which is exactly why we have them; they're here to catch our attention when something isn't right. Do you happen to have a link to those insults that haven't been dealt with yet? 🙂
silverdrifter24 said:If one topic gets pinned to the top (like the ATP thread) while the other doesn't (the WTA one), I honestly think it just makes sense for them to be treated the same—either both get pinned or neither does. 🤣
Well, looking at it from my side, we run into issues with this every now and then where reports just don't seem to go through properly. If you don't mind me saying, if there's a really specific issue on the forum and the moderators haven't picked up on your report via the little icon, it might actually be a good idea to just shoot one of them a direct message. It might help things move along faster.

Alright, I'm going to wait and see what he and the rest of the moderation team think about all this—I'm curious to see who they actually end up considering a strong candidate.
Nicole Anderson55 said:The moderators have a serious responsibility when it comes to the PDF files, and they can't just walk away from that role whenever they feel like it. It’s not something you can just drop without consequences.
You’re absolutely right, they definitely have responsibilities to uphold. As for when they might be moved out of moderation, that’s entirely up to the administration. Honestly, let's just leave it at that—it's not really what we're here to debate, and I don't want us getting sidetracked by it.
There’s nothing acidic going on here, and the rest of the moderation team is active and keeping things under control. If they’re feeling spread too thin, then sure, they should definitely look into bringing on some extra help.
Please, tell me exactly what you mean when you say things are "in a mess"—I'd love for you to be a bit more specific about the actual problems you're seeing.
Regarding the absence of the moderation team, that’s really an internal matter for them, and the administration will step in to make changes if and when they feel it's actually necessary. We’re fully aware that some folks haven't been around for a while, but I really appreciate you flagging it for us. As for making improvements to the PDF, I'd suggest gathering your thoughts and starting a dedicated thread specifically for those ideas—simply saying "it needs to be different" doesn't give us much to work with. Please try to bring a bit more constructive feedback when you're opening new topics. Thanks!
Edit: You're also welcome to drop your suggestions right here in this thread, but please, let's keep it specific—tell us exactly what needs changing and how we can improve the PDF.
Alright, I went ahead and cleared out a little bit of the area. Just a quick heads-up though—please don't forget what Alex Cook mentioned earlier, because if we have to do this again, I don't think that second layer is going to come off nearly as easily as it did this time.
I really think the moderators need to sit down and get on the same page about a few things. Decisions regarding partial bans shouldn't be rushed through without thought, and the exact same logic applies when it comes to deciding to lift them. Just hang tight and let things settle for a bit.
Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a heads-up that we haven't been able to update any nicknames lately due to some technical glitches on the back end. Everything should be smoothed out and working properly again in just a few days. If yours hasn't been updated yet, please reach out to me toward the end of the week and I'll get it sorted for you.🙂
You can always just decide you're done with it, you know? You have the power to simply stop using the account and quit logging into the forum altogether.
You probably couldn't get into that profile because you were in the middle of changing your password or tweaking some other technical setting and didn't quite finish the process. I went ahead and manually fixed everything on my end to get you back up and running, so go ahead and check it out to make sure it's working okay for you now!

It sounds like we’re dealing with some kind of technical glitch on their end, because everything seems to be working fine when it comes to me receiving messages. I'll reach out to support and see what's going on, but if you don't mind, could you grab a screenshot of whatever error message you're seeing? That would really help.
Edit: I went ahead and moved these posts into their own separate thread so we aren't cluttering up the main discussion on the forums.
Jack Davis26, since we aren't really using this thread to hash out the whole signature situation, would you mind shooting me a private message instead? 🙂
