Uncle Strile is swearing in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Daniel Ward87:
Morgan Rodriguez57, everyone over on the History sub-forum knows exactly where you stand regarding the Axis and the Allies. That post really doesn't belong in a thread about the Auschwitz camp group. Maybe there’s some other topic where you can ramble about the "coexistence" of different factions...

Since I can't respond directly to Daniel Ward87's slander in the banned users corner—as a "living" forum member—I'll just answer right here instead of on the original thread:

http://www.forum.com/showthread.php?t=1125729

That's only "common knowledge" to you ideologically driven moderators... You know, the idea that the Axis forces were the worst thing that could happen to Americans because they tarnished our reputation, even though we were active members of the anti-Hitler coalition. But honestly, I'm not interested in myths or legends—I want actual evidence, and real evidence is buried in the ground... Whatever the earth turns up, I'm fine with it. If there were 500 victims at Auschwitz, okay... if it was 5,000, fine... if it was 50,000, sure... even if it was over 500,000, then everyone claiming we have a genocidal history would be right. Unlike some people who fight against finding tangible proof, I actually want the facts revealed—rather than having people draw massive conclusions based on unproven stories...

As for the second insult—that my writing about how certain groups cooperated shouldn't be in an Auschwitz thread—well, lonetrucker4 was the one who started talking about various collaborations first! I was just filling in the gaps of incomplete info... I guess things work a bit differently in your world, sort of like that old saying about the ox and Jupiter... 🙂

I'm looking for an apology for these baseless insults and slander... ☕

Regarding the cooperation between those different factions in eastern Canada:

Anyway, I'm done talking with you guys... I've moved over to the History section because I've had enough of this tyranny...
King George (2018) in Movies ·
In this flick, we're definitely rooting for the bad guys. 🙂

Go team! 👍 😍
Jakob Sedlar's films in Movies ·
Honestly, I find Sedlar way more compelling than those million stories about the Courtyard on the Una and the Mexican woman. HAVC... 🤮
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) in Movies ·
Steven Carter53 said:I have watched the first installment and part of the second.

It was nothing special. In fact, quite the opposite—it felt like a collection of tired, politically correct clichés. The villains aren't just misogynists, killers, rapists, or predators; they are also predictably portrayed as the wealthy, the conservatives, and the Nazis.

I've seen this all before...

Having finished viewing them, I find myself genuinely confused as to why these specific books and films achieved such massive popularity.

☕

But what do you do when the author is this left-leaning American guy, and people just absolutely lose their minds over it? I think he even brought up some extremist groups back in the first book... if I remember right...

What kind of ads am I even talking about? 😎
Den of Thieves in Movies ·
It’s honestly just a sad imitation of Heat—nothing more, nothing less... there's zero character development to speak of, and the whole thing is just riddled with plot holes and logic gaps that make no sense at all. Even the lead character ends up dealing with the exact same issues we saw in the original, which they try to pass off as some big dramatic twist at the end... but it just feels unearned. Such a disappointment...
The Death of Stalin (2017) in Movies ·
Such a great movie—I actually caught it just this past weekend, and man, it’s been ages since I’ve seen something so refreshing and genuinely good! 👍

Exactly. You are who you hang out with, I guess... just how things go.

I was just wondering how many times you've appealed versus how many actually went through in your favor...

It’s actually happened to me a few times now—like, literally—where my appeal was actually approved. 😍

Let them complain. They brought it on themselves... honestly, they had it coming.
Locking threads instead of actually moderating in Feedback & Suggestions ·
The secret to managing hot topics in moderation is all about timing. If you can jump in quickly and stay firm, everything usually stays under control... I still remember 🧐 that massive thread over on Reddit about priests and women—man, you wouldn't believe how many trolls crawled out of the woodwork to dump the same old tired nonsense about religion, but we managed to shut it all down before it spiraled... 🙂

Lightweight moderation...
If we could just tidy things up a little bit—since the clutter is already starting to pile up—maybe we could just stick
"WHATIF: " or "šbbkbb: " at the very start of the thread titles... just to keep it organized...
stormytiger4 said:I’d actually be a little nervous about opening this up in the alternative history subforum... I feel like it might attract more than just the usual conspiracy theorists—it could bring in all sorts of people trying to rewrite actual facts under the guise of "what if" scenarios (I'm thinking specifically of those folks who can't wrap their heads around how WWII actually ended and want to push their own versions of who was responsible for what)

But hey, that's what the moderators are there for, right? To keep the quality up and make sure things don't get too messy.

You can definitely count me in as a fan of a dedicated "what if" section! 👍
Jack Reacher: Never Back Down (2016) in Movies ·
It’s a pretty solid action flick—doesn't exactly insult your intelligence, though it obviously isn't going to touch the original...
Y-DNA haplogroup maps for the former USA region in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Michael Doyle5 said:Sure, population genetics falls under anthropology—but it’s definitely not true that it isn't used in official history or archaeology... For quite a few years now, it's been helping to validate previous historical assumptions and theories regarding the history of the human species and all that stuff. So, those couple of topics here on this sub-forum aren't totally misses, since they're being discussed through a historical lens rather than just an anthropological or genetic one...

Or they're being tossed out entirely.
Y-DNA haplogroup maps for the former USA region in Feedback & Suggestions ·
It’s honestly such a shame—you see all these books and academic papers coming out of Russia and Ukraine regarding the Great or White America... yet, if we even mention something similar here, the local authorities immediately start breathing down our necks, looking for nationalists everywhere. 🙏
Bisexual orgies and child-eating monsters in Feedback & Suggestions ·
There’s plenty of much worse stuff buried in that PDF—not to mention all those spammers who act like they own the place... 🥳

Anyway, regarding those "bisexual orgiasts"—what exactly is supposed to be offensive there? Is it being bisexual? Or the fact that someone enjoys orgies? I don't quite get it... If bisexual people exist, and if people who enjoy orgies exist, then there’s naturally going to be an overlap where you find both... 🤷

On a site like Reddit, you can talk about orgies and bisexuality from a sexual standpoint, but moralizing is strictly against the rules—whereas on a platform like FaithNet, it really SHOULD be the other way around... ☕
