Alright, fine, but why am I the only target? There are plenty of other posts in there nitpicking the moderation team. Why weren't those deleted if mine are getting wiped?

For instance, why aren't you guys deleting posts where people claim you completely tanked the Travel subforum? Or comments saying things would have been better before you guys took over?

There are endless possibilities here. Don't throw in the towel yet. Shine that light on them and dig deep! If it worked before yesterday and doesn't now, someone definitely tinkered with it.

And honestly, maybe someone downloaded some malware from some shady site. That could have trashed the settings. But again, that would be "someone" making a mistake.

Why would anyone give you a task like this? It's pretty obvious you don't know JavaScript, let alone how to build anything with it.
And why are you even attempting this in JavaScript when you know you're out of your depth? Who are you trying to prove anything to? What does passing this "test" even accomplish?
If you knew JavaScript? You don't. When an employer hands you a job later on and gives you a real task, are you going to show up on an American forum begging others to do your work for you?
Let's be clear: you haven't even started working. You didn't get stuck and look for guidance; you immediately went looking to scavenge someone else's project online, and now you want a third party to help you commit the theft.
While I'm sitting here typing this out, there's someone else right now actually coding in JavaScript, hoping to pass the very same kind of test you're praying someone will solve for you. They didn't go online, grab a stranger's project, and come to a forum whining for help to fix SOMEONE ELSE'S WORK just to claim it as their own.

Do yourself a favor: go to whoever gave you this JavaScript task on Friday and just tell them the truth: I don't know JavaScript, and I'm not going to learn it.

It’s a real shame things have reached this point. If she actually decides to walk away, that PDF is going to take the biggest hit.

Just slap a number at the start of the filename and sort alphabetically.
Once you set it up that way, it stays exactly how you want it.

Nah, the issue is that his logo is actually an image file, not plain text. That's where it gets annoying because you can't just type over an image directly in Microsoft Word. Well, at least not the way you would with regular text.

Don't sweat it. Just throw something like "how to change file extension?" into Google. You could even get more specific and type "Windows 10 How to change file extension" or whatever.

You can also just hit up YouTube; you'll find a mountain of tutorials, something like this:


Honestly, it’s basically two clicks. Right-click the file you want to tweak and hit "Rename."
Type in the new one you want and hit enter.

Honestly, there’s no magic trick required—just change the extension to .ppt and everything should work fine.
I probably could have found another workaround, but I didn't bother trying.

You can actually handle all that string manipulation right in Excel using basic text functions—no need to go downloading shady add-ons or messing around with complex scripts.

Let’s say you’ve got a column, Column A, filled with those movie titles.
Just pop this formula into cell B1: "=RIGHT(A1,6)"
No quotes needed, obviously. This just grabs the last six characters from whatever is sitting in cell A1.
Then, just grab the corner of cell B1 and drag it all the way down to cover your whole list, whether that's 1,200 rows or whatever mess you're working with.

Once that's done, just sort the whole sheet based on Column B.
After everything is organized, you can just delete Column B if it's useless to you now. Or hide it. Whatever.

There you go.
