The movie was mindless, but it served its purpose by launching her career. Even though she started out in obscure indie films, this project pushed her straight into Hollywood stardom, and now she's playing a Bond girl.

What absolute garbage. Honestly, was this the worst movie I've seen all year?

A 150 MB HEVC file works perfectly fine on my phone. But for the TV? I have to download an entire 2 GB episode! Why is that? Given my internet speed, a single story takes me 45 minutes to load. At least when I watch on my phone, which has a 6000 mAh battery, it lasts forever through any movie or series.

Bad movie, bad story, even the supporting cast was off. And the ending? The absolute icing on a terrible cake. Why did I waste my time? 3/10. This actor will be back at Marvel before you know it...

Kudos to whoever thought to open a dedicated thread for the two greatest sagas of all time. Is it fair to draw parallels between the Avengers saga and the modern Star Wars? Perhaps. I feel lucky to have witnessed these films during their golden age, and I wonder how the Avengers saga will be remembered twenty years from now.
Basically, I haven't become immune either. The Avengers saga undoubtedly defined a decade of cinema. Suddenly, third-rate franchises were being treated as synonyms for quality because today, when people head to the theater, they check first to see if there's a Marvel movie playing. They simply have everything that makes a great film—soul, substance, charismatic actors, and a real story.
Even though everyone expected the quality to drop over time, the opposite happened; Marvel movies just kept drawing bigger crowds. Honestly, a Marvel film is what forced me to follow tens of thousands of characters just for a thirty-second post-credits scene. Or that feeling of anxiously waiting for nothing but a trailer or a title—it’s wild.
It’s no wonder they were embraced by critics, audiences, and the box office alike...

I think I'm done, not just with Endgame, but with DC superhero films too. The newer titles don't grab me. I can't stomach anything that feels overly "new" right now; we've already seen it all—the individual heroes, the R-rated stuff, the comedies...
I'm curious which saga will define the next decade. I almost wish it would be Avatar, because aside from those special effects, they didn't really have much else to offer.
I hold Star Wars responsible for not having more substance in its films. They just didn't have the courage to launch a brand-new saga.

You have a point. The first 40 minutes are practically a sedative! Since the movie is only about 90 minutes long excluding the credits, one has to ask: are the audiences being cheated? Does the actual plot even begin until the 40-minute mark, running only until 1:27? Thank goodness I didn't pay for a theater ticket, otherwise I would be left with such a bitter taste in my mouth. If there are only 30 minutes of actual entertainment worth watching, where on earth was that $100 million budget spent?

Wouldn't it be ideal if this were a high-budget production, perhaps reaching the $200 million mark?

Does anyone know which software I should use to convert a series episode into a 350 MB AVI file? I am trying to replicate that specific look from those old Xvid torrents. I have already tried various tools like Adobe and Handbrake, but the quality just isn't there. Why does my footage end up so blurry during fast-paced scenes compared to the high-quality encodes found online? I am aiming for something similar to the specs below—roughly 1100 kbps, totaling about 350 MB in AVI format, but without that terrible motion blur. Can anyone assist me with this?
