I've got my checkup at 12:00 today for some new meds and blood work. 😁I’m definitely gonna grill the doc about those coagulation levels. Not saying I'm totally panicking or anything, but I really need answers!
They actually offered me this surgery when I was little, but back then it wasn't nearly as routine as it is now, so everyone was super nervous... we were all worried my eye wouldn't stay straight. My mom ended up deciding it was better to just skip it. Luckily, everything cleared up for me just by doing some eye exercises at the clinic!
But my cousin did go through with it, and while it helped her out a lot, she was still so young when she had it that it didn't fully fix everything. I guess she might have better luck if she goes back for it once she's older...
So here’s the deal 1. if you start on Yasmin today, you stick with Yasmin all month, then switch to Diane next month 2. if you don't start anything today, just wait until your next period starts and kick off with Yasmin then
And that's my whole expert philosophy right there!
Honestly, that first box of Triqular was a total disaster for me... like a complete washout. But things totally leveled out by the next month and everything’s been awesome since! 🙂
I honestly barely feel the pill on my tongue—it’s gone in a second, just enough time to take a sip of water... I learned this the hard way after one got stuck once, so I had to find my own little hack!
Try taking a gulp of water first, then pop the pill so it just floats right down your throat without even touching your tongue...
Ugh, this whole debate about soaking tampons in water has already popped up in a similar thread before 😵
I mean, it makes sense to me that some water gets in, since nothing down there is exactly airtight, right? 🤷 I haven't actually had to test out a tampon while swimming yet, though—thankfully!
Yeah, I’m totally skipping the Raid stuff too. I’ve been using those Bygone sprays instead and honestly, they work wonders! I did notice though, that there just hasn't been a huge mosquito problem around my place this year... I've only dealt with like two bites total so far!
I use one of those liquid plug-ins and honestly, I don't deal with mosquitoes at all—no annoying buzzing in my room! But even when they actually get me, I still have no clue how to fix it... everything stays itchy as heck
I'm actually looking to get my new health insurance card too, and they told me I don't even have to swing by the office—they're just gonna mail it to me via USPS! 🤷
They actually mailed me my new health insurance card a couple weeks before the old one even expired... such a weird move on their part! 🤷
And from what I know, you have to request the new one through the same office listed on your ID... so basically wherever your current home address is registered.
When I was a little kid, my right eye used to drift inward—my parents caught it early on. I actually did those eye exercises where you focus on things like soldiers, cats, or kids carrying buckets, all while keeping the other eye covered (which was tricky since I wear glasses for farsightedness!). It ended up working, and now my eye only drifts a tiny bit when I’m totally wiped out.
Seriously though, don't freak out, it's really not that big of a deal... just see what your ophthalmologist says...
