Well, I guess... 😛
Megan Rodriguez44 said:But seriously... THE COPS. They actually pulled us over right as we were leaving Central Park! Right at the exit! Just two innocent girls—well, two girls and a friend—being targeted by three huge guys in front and one more trailing behind us... I mean, what is even the problem here?! They had clearly had a few too many of those cheap light beers 🙄 themselves, but the two of us were stone-cold sober. They harassed us for half an hour straight. My friend was blowing up her phone, the music was blaring from the car, and we were just sitting there getting grilled... Meanwhile, all the absolute maniacs rolling out of Central Park, totally wasted or high as kites—I didn't see them specifically, but I'm certain they were 😁—they don't get stopped by any single blue suit! 😠 And then to top it all off: a parking violation, a $700 fine, and the whole ordeal of deciding whether we’re taking an Uber home or trying to squeeze onto the subway... just...

Give me a break 😲
I honestly have no clue what you all are getting at with this whole debate over wristbands and meetings.
Is wearing a festival wristband actually some kind of disgrace or an embarrassment?

And for those of you who were parked out on the grass—did anyone actually get hit with a fine?
Best nasal spray for congestion? in Health ·
I used Visine for years—right up until my surgery.
Lately, I’ve only reached for it twice, and that was strictly because I came down with a nasty cold.

Visine never really caused me issues, aside from the occasional nosebleed when it irritated my nasal lining a bit too much...
Sure, they tell you not to use it long-term, but I made my own choices. Honestly, if they tallied up how much Visine I’ve bought over the last decade, they’d probably have to build me a monument...
Vitamin B injections in Health ·
So, I was scrolling through the New York City news today and saw this bit about the Los Angeles show in Washington, D.C.:
"Mick Jagger ended up asking for a Vitamin B injection because he was feeling worn out."

Since when does a single injection just magically fix exhaustion?... 😬
Vitamin B injections in Health ·
I’ve often found myself telling people that they might need to step away—just to take care of themselves—because they’re simply drowning in work, running out of time, or lacking the sheer stamina and energy required just to function... chronic fatigue being a major culprit.

I am curious, though—what does a Vitamin B injection actually entail?
My right wrist is killing me in Health ·
I’ve been dealing with this chronic pain in my right arm—it actually stems from how I hold myself during long services at church.
First and foremost—I apply ice to the area several times a day. The pain eventually subsides, but the catch is that you have to be incredibly disciplined about icing it every single time it flares up.
I’ve already posted long threads here detailing my various issues and the mountain of different treatments I’ve cycled through for this arm... but honestly, I just don't have the energy to sit down and type all of that out again.

So, yeah... ice!
Adam Moore said:Word is there will be four stages—which implies four headliners. We've got Sonic Youth, maybe two slots for the Dollse (let's be generous), and then two more big names. Assuming one of those headliners ends up being an American act... that makes another one. We'll see how it plays out...

That third stage is likely just going to be a VEEEEEELIKIIIII American band like Lollapalooza, which they're acting like can actually hold its own alongside those other two acts...🙄
Honestly, forget Lake Tahoe. It was a total disaster.

Good grief, how on earth am I supposed to upload a video without everything turning into a complete disaster 😁

Bye bye boldeagle3 - I had a feeling you’d be hitting the floor pretty quickly once this thread went live 👋
I wouldn't go so far as to give you a compliment, but I might consider banning you... 🙂

This happens to everyone eventually. Your period is likely just late because of stress...

But just buy a test so you can stop worrying. Once you relax, your cycle will probably reset.

Don't mislead her.
A single gentleman making his way toward the flower is more than enough. 🥳
Daniel Robinson6 said:thanks... honestly, being pregnant isn't exactly how I pictured my life right now. I'm only 22, still grinding through college, and I'm not even in a serious relationship... God only knows how he'd even react to this news. Ugh...

I find this whole thing somewhat amusing.
Why wasn't this a consideration before things got physical? It seems we're only contemplating the consequences now that the fear has actually set in...😁
Of course it’s possible. Just go out and buy a test...
Car loans in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
They’re essentially just trying to guarantee they get their loan repayment back.
From their perspective—and let's be honest, it's purely a numbers game—it's much safer to just pull the funds directly from your account rather than sitting around waiting for you to actually send the payment...
For some people, having that direct access is even a prerequisite just to get approved for the loan in the first place.

coppercobra2 said:Instead of offering those venues to bands or singers who can't even fill up Madison Square Garden, the city just hands them over to those mainstream pop-country types.

It’s honestly ridiculous—Mexico has two major rock festivals, meanwhile, in Chicago, there hasn't been a decent concert in years, and the few clubs left basically cater exclusively to that mainstream crowd.
...
By all accounts, it looks like I’ll be heading out this summer to catch my favorite artists in some other major European metropolis again.

Look, venues should be available to anyone who actually wants to play here.
We've had plenty of massive acts over the last few years, and nobody actually sold out their shows (except maybe DM)—in fact, most of our arenas are way too large even for some of the biggest names—so don't even get me started on the idea of filling a stadium in this country.

When Metallica came to visit us, we bought so few tickets that they basically gave us the middle finger and canceled the show because ticket sales were sitting at a pathetic 10,000.

At the end of the day, we have no one to blame for being bypassed than ourselves.
