Use your head and your keyboard... please don't tell me you're just going to let some local cinephile drag you to the theater. Or maybe "The Walls," for that matter.😁 😉
You're welcome! Let me know if you have anything else you need help with. Man, you don't even need to look at this. It’s honestly like comparing the Himalayas to the absolute mess Ogresta has been making up until now. So you're saying you got to see a Murakami film? Man, you're lucky... last summer we only had Mike Leigh playing in New York City. We just get the scraps down here, like a bunch of former John Malkovich fans. Cheers, blue eyes.😉
Hey, what was the deal with those American films heading over to New York City? Was it specifically for this festival, or has that happened before? Or is it just rare for any of our stuff to make the cut?😕
Hey there I see you're passing down some wisdom to the younger generation 😉 Nice work, really nice
Regarding Spielberg, sure, he definitely chased the money at one point, but I caught him on a talk show recently and watched a bit If only today's Hollywood blockbusters had even 5% of that kind of soul... (I think Witness was actually one of the biggest hits of that year)
Norris said:Basically, the idea is that Space (God, a higher intelligence) supports everything we hold true, almost as if "whatever we believe in becomes true for us."
In other words, through our thoughts, attitudes, emotions, words, and actions, every single one of us is essentially architecting our own reality.
Man, if I just sit here believing in God, that’s not how life works in my experience. It only happens if I actually set goals for myself and pour real passion into what I'm trying to achieve. At that point, things manifest. To me, God finished His part a long time ago; He did what He intended to do. Now, we’re left to our own devices to chase down our own visions—call it a mission or whatever you want. I honestly don't get why God would step in to help us reach a specific goal. Why would He? You can't see Him or hear Him. Instead of looking for outside help, why shouldn't we just trust our own potential and go out there and make things happen ourselves?
Bolkovac in Petrinja over at that Chinese Hotel Ali but since you'll be out that way toward the end of the month your best bet is just to call the hotel directly and ask
In a way, the whole thing actually works. Visualization and affirmations are incredibly powerful tools. They can help you navigate through problems and manifest exactly what you want while filtering out the noise. I use these techniques quite a bit, and honestly, the results sometimes catch me off guard—even though I fully understand the mechanics behind it. It isn’t magic. It’s just that we attract experiences that align with our core beliefs. Whatever we hold as truth in our minds tends to bleed into our reality. Like attracts like. How much success we actually see from using this "ability" (if we even want to call it that) really comes down to our own internal limitations. If we secretly believe we aren't capable or don't deserve something, we could practice positive thinking, visualize, pray to God, or grind for years, and still see zero results. The conviction that something is both real and achievable is the ultimate key. This method doesn't require you to stress over the "how" or figure out the logistics of how your goals will manifest. It’s simply the conscious use of your imagination to shape your life. 🙂 After all, we are constantly creating our experiences on autopilot based on what we accept as truth. Our personal reality always finds a way to materialize. But here’s the catch... none of this is easy if the experience you’re chasing clashes with your deep-seated views of the world, life, or yourself. The bigger the mental block, the harder—or even impossible—it becomes to manifest your intentions. That’s why one of the absolute requirements for making this "ability" work effectively is doing the inner work. The better we know ourselves, the more we live authentically, and the more honest we are with ourselves, the easier it becomes to attract things that truly resonate with who we are. 🙂 Until we recognize and overcome those negative subconscious blueprints about the world and ourselves, we won't be able to create positive experiences for ourselves or anyone else. It sounds simple enough, but let's be real—it’s definitely not. 😉
Kenneth Sullivan58 said:So, I decided to head over to Kings Corner today. It’s been five years since I last bought a pair of jeans, so I figured with all those shops there, I’d definitely find something.
But oh my god, what a disaster!!!!😠 I tried some stuff at Replay, Gap, Benetton... the denim quality is actually amazing, and I really don't want to be too picky, but the cuts... I mean, who on earth can even wear these things???😲 The rises are so shallow that you basically have to be a skeleton just to get them on!!!! You need a waistline of about 15 inches to pull them off, plus legs like a giraffe!!! It's a total joke!!! And I only weigh 110 lbs and I'm 5'3"!😁
Does anyone know if there are any "normal" jean cuts left out there?? Something with a low rise (but not ridiculously shallow) in a slight bootcut. I'm going to keep browsing downtown later today, so hopefully, I'll strike gold. Fingers crossed!!!! 😉
Just finished watching I was pretty disappointed, though not totally crushed It felt way too short for my liking Fans should definitely give it a look, though A sequel is almost certainly coming😁
I get hit with those sudden downpours whenever I step out into the intense Phoenix heat, but it only happens once or twice, and even then, it's pretty rare..
Madlib (Jaylib, Madvillain) and Jay Dee (Jaylib) absolutely crushed the production on this one. Honestly, it’s about time too—after eight years and two total flops in between, they finally realized they should team up with these two (among a bunch of other names I’ve never even heard of) to pair those heavy beats with lyrics that make them sound seasoned and wise. It turned out to be a killer album. The only real letdown is that corny, stereotypical R&B hook on "It's Like That," which just makes him look like he lacks any real grit, but it's such a minor flaw that it doesn't ruin the overall vibe. The standout track, and easily my song of the week, has to be "Church," especially with that intro by Spike Lee.
At this rate, even the Terminator might end up in the Oval Office. Just wait until the next election cycle rolls around... 😁
I saw that poster myself.
It feels wrong that Sir Humphrey dies. Honestly, I’d rather see that rebel leader get taken out—you know, that cop turned criminal from back in the day—get frozen over again, while Humphrey takes over as Emperor and starts rocking some red boots. 😁
I’ve actually got an old VHS tape from back in the nineties. I recorded it straight off PBS... (or whatever they were calling it back then...) And right in the middle of the movie, this text just pops up at the top of the screen: "Air strikes on cities: ..." 😁
