No moderator in Alternative Medicine in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I honestly can't wrap my head around what Ethan Barrett22 is trying to pull here, because if there’s one thing we all know by now, it’s that he has absolutely no interest in telling the truth.
Ibrahim-Pr Asks:
The truth is pretty simple: ever since they booted the moderator from the Alternative Medicine section, several threads on this subforum have been constantly getting obstructed. It honestly drives me absolutely insane how those same handful of users constantly find ways to skirt the rules, and they do it in the most blatant, disrespectful ways possible. It’s always the exact same group of people, over and over again, pushing the boundaries and acting like the community standards don't apply to them. - Ethan Brooks59, Plant112, Roger Cooper91, Jerry White29, Al dente, urbangull90.

The people listed here aren't actually doing anything besides playing "moderator" on threads where these pseudo-alternative types spout nothing but absolute nonsense and straight-up insult your intelligence.
Ethan Barrett22 said:None of these forum members have ever posted anything remotely constructive or even stayed on topic; those few threads Kimberly Ward mentioned on the subforum have basically just been turned into a total circus for... I’ve had just about enough of the sheer, unadulterated arrogance coming from certain people on this board, specifically those self-appointed "experts" who think they can shut down anyone daring to look beyond the mainstream narrative. It’s honestly exhausting watching you lot jump down the throats of anyone who dares to suggest that there might be more to health than what Big Pharma hands us in a little white pill. You act like you own the truth, sitting there behind your keyboards, dogmatically clinging to whatever consensus was spoon-fed to you by some corporate-funded medical establishment, and the moment someone brings up the merits of Alternative Medicine or mentions something like Plant112, you lose your collective minds. It is absolutely pathetic how quickly you turn into a pack of wolves the second an idea doesn't fit into your narrow, sterilized little worldview. You aren't looking for a discussion; you're looking for compliance. If someone suggests that maybe, just maybe, we should be looking at things like Gnuujninestrin instead of just blindly following a prescription, you treat it like heresy. It’s not science to be that closed-minded; it’s just intellectual cowardice. You hide behind your supposed "facts" because you're too terrified to actually question the status quo or consider that the entire system might be rigged to keep us dependent and sick. And don't even get me started on the way you dismiss anyone who values a Right Life over a life dictated by pharmaceutical dependency. You mock the very concept of seeking out different paths, acting as if questioning the giants of industry is somehow a sign of ignorance rather than a sign of critical thinking. I see the way you target people—it’s a coordinated effort to silence dissent, to make sure everyone stays within the lines of what's considered "acceptable." Well, I'm telling you right now, I'm not interested in playing along with your little echo chamber. If having an independent mind and refusing to bow down to the cult of modern medicine makes me an outcast in your eyes, then fine. I'd much rather be alone and right than part of your mindless, conformist herd.It looks like you might have hit send too early or had a little typo there! If you have a specific post or some text you want me to overhaul, just paste it in. I'm ready to take that raw material and turn it into a sharp, authentic American rant or commentary, keeping the original soul intact while completely rebuilding it from the ground up. Send it over whenever you're ready. It’s honestly pathetic how most of them don't even bother to respond to what they write, just completely ignoring their own posts in most cases. They’re already working on this topic, and yet they've gone ahead and put them on the ignore list.

I really feel the need to say this one more time: we cannot possibly take any claims about "constructive" arguments seriously when they come from someone who actually believes that human blood is basically just carrot juice, or that the human body somehow synthesizes its own Vitamin C out of nothing but carbs and water.
Honestly, when people start peddling this kind of absolute nonsense, the only thing worth doing is posting constructive responses to shut it down.
Ethan Barrett22 said:Their posts are nothing but pure ad hominem attacks, constant harassment of forum members, off-topic nonsense, and blatant insults that just loop over and over again without ever stopping.

When they were busy cleaning up the subforum, that whole situation was completely swept under the rug.

If the moderators were actually paying attention around here, they’d be scrubbing posts like yours immediately. Honestly, if they were doing their jobs properly, we wouldn't even have to waste our breath "moderating" the blatant lies and total fabrications you keep peddling.
Ethan Barrett22 said:Insults have become a regular occurrence around here, much like they are in my own life. Right here. I just dropped a link here—and honestly, that’s just a tiny snippet of what I managed to dig up on Google in a hurry—but this whole mess has been dragging on for over a year now, ever since we lost our moderator.

Excuse me, but what do you even call someone who claims there’s a massive worm over three feet long living inside their body, yet somehow the doctors have absolutely no clue what it is?
Ethan Barrett22 said:I get it, this thread is probably going to get locked too, especially if I drop more links to back up these facts, but honestly, it is high time we put an end to this blatant disrespect and the constant breaking of rules because this kind of behavior doesn't belong on any forum in the world. It makes zero sense to let a tiny handful of people drag the reputation of this entire community through the mud.

If we're talking about dragging reputations through the dirt, you and your little followers are doing more damage than anyone else by posting nothing but pure delusions.

I’m jumping in here to back up what lemonzoom said. Honestly, doticna doesn't even have a clue how to count properly, and let's be real, that isn't exactly rocket science.
As for that post by Arthur Smith15 that doticna is whining about, I don't see any insult there at all—just someone stating plain, hard facts. The same goes for nadrilekar’s post where he claims Arthur Smith15 is being offensive. It’s pretty funny, actually, how he fails to even link the specific posts his accusations are supposedly based on.
Arthur Smith15 is a serious, high-quality contributor to this Forum who simply calls out the absolute nonsense being peddled by the fake alternative medicine crowd and the scammers looking to profit off people's health.

Ethan Brooks59 said:It’s honestly hilarious how you act like you're the victim now, constantly breaking every single rule in the book—whether it's derailing threads, spamming, trolling, or just being plain obnoxious—yet the second things get heated, you suddenly start crying about being insulted.

The whole playbook used by these pseudo-doctors and health gurus is predictable at this point; they'll drop these wild claims about curing cancer or some other terminal illness to grab attention, and once the backlash gets too intense and things start boiling over, they suddenly play it safe and pivot back to peddling their mindless smoothie recipes.
So, given everything that's been said here, you can pretty much expect a flood of those damn blender recipes coming your way very soon. 😬

We all understand perfectly well that this forum is supposed to be a space for exchanging ideas.
....

😬, but what kind of "exchange of ideas" are you even talking about? You’ve spewed so much absolute nonsense that everyone who tried to correct you ended up putting you on their ignore list. Now that your thread has been shut down because you couldn't stop acting like you're superior to everyone else, you're out here posting fake solutions in other threads.
But let's be honest, we both know there is no greater victory on a forum like this than when you dismantle someone so completely with logic and rhetoric that the only thing they have left to do is hit that ignore button.

😬, I really think we need to push Mark Cruz15 for a moderator position so he can finally bring some actual order to all these fake alternatives.
Nicole Johnson20 said:I honestly have no clue what exactly you think was "brilliantly stated" in my post, especially since you’ve gone ahead and treated my words as if you were agreeing with me, only to pivot immediately into some nonsense that I never even remotely intended to say. 🤷

Look, some people are just out here trolling and intentionally baiting others, completely tearing apart the integrity of these NRZ threads. Just because there isn't an immediate reaction doesn't mean a rule hasn't been broken—I’ve seen plenty of instances where I was certain a line had been crossed, yet nothing happened, and then other times where people go ballistic over absolutely nothing at all.

I’m pretty sure you’re already aware of that, but you’re out here intentionally picking a fight, which honestly doesn't do you any favors.

😁😁
And just like that, you’re heading straight to my ignore list too, darling. 😁

We somehow split into a trio from a single person😁, so I guess we’re dealing with some kind of cellular division here.
Basically, it’s exactly what I anticipated—once you've blurted out a blatant lie, you suddenly lose the backbone to keep going because deep down, you know you're full of it.

stormyrider28 said:And regarding Monty asking if they were clones, what's the harm in checking? stormyrider28, what do you need, a lifeline from the audience just to get through this?

And here’s yet another one who just can't seem to connect the dots. Just look at what someone who clearly belongs in the fringe crowd is actually typing:

I honestly have to wonder if you’re genuinely incapable of connecting the dots on basic logic here, or if you just type nonsense for the sake of hearing your own voice.
Alright, let’s try this one more time, since apparently, I need to spell it out for you.
I am officially proposing that we take this straight to the supermoderator to prove once and for all who is running which clone account.
If it turns out that Brenda Gonzalez12 and I are indeed the same person, then we both get a permanent ban, no questions asked. But, if the investigation proves we are two separate individuals, then you get the permanent ban.
You see, I made this exact same proposal to the head administrator and the total snake oil salesman, Elizabeth Jackson. What do you think happened? Did he accept the challenge? 😁 Of course not; he shut down just like he always does the second someone hits him with actual, hard facts.
So, stormyrider28, are you going to step up and accept this proposal, or are you going to chicken out like the loyal follower of a con artist that you clearly are?

Gregory Ramirez2, look, there’s no magic trick here and there isn't some grand mystery to solve. You don't exactly need a PhD to see exactly who is out here desperately clawing for a moderator position.
Gregory Ramirez2 said:So, let me get this straight: I go out of my way to give vaśeg Lemon some well-deserved credit, and what do I get for it? Absolutely nothing. Zero points. It’s honestly pathetic how much effort goes into being reasonable only to be met with total silence or complete dismissal. 😒

It isn't my business, but if you ask me, that’s exactly how it should be handled. 👍

Look, even though I can't say I agree with you on almost anything, I’ve said it many times before: bluemason3 should have been the one moderating the alternative boards long before anyone else around here was even considered.
From what I can see, he’s just not built for this kind of drama. Honestly, I get where he's coming from. You’d need nerves of steel to sit there and read through Elizabeth Jackson's obnoxious, highlighted posts—those endless, pathetic rants about some supposed "mountain" of medical breakthroughs that are nothing more than blatant lies designed to line her pockets. It’s one thing to deal with the nonsense, but it's another thing entirely when you have to decide whether to slap him with a permanent ban just because he won't stop spreading those fraudulent claims.

I can't believe we're still dealing with this level of incompetence, honestly. It’s like nobody in this entire country has even a shred of common sense left, and frankly, I’m getting tired of watching the same ridiculous patterns repeat themselves day after day. You look around at what's happening, you see the absolute lack of accountability, and you have to wonder if anyone is actually paying attention or if everyone has just collectively decided to tune out the chaos. It’s exhausting to be one of the few people actually willing to point out how broken the system feels right now. Grace Ramos says:
Alright, alright... if you’re already getting a massive headache just thinking about Hendrix, then let me throw Sead Lipovača at you—and hey, if you're feeling particularly lucky, maybe you'll even score some pride from Elizabeth Jackson.🥳

bluemason3 said:...
I honestly wouldn't go for Elizabeth Jackson; I'm just completely disillusioned with all these forum romances lately. 🧐

Well, looks like two more names have officially been added to Elizabeth Jackson's ignore list. I can already see the inevitable fallout—probably some dramatic, over-the-top post filled with colorful fonts and bold text where they play the victim and whine about being persecuted.
To put it bluntly, you guys completely screwed up.
Moderation on PDF: Alternatives to the Science Edge V forum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Take a look at the alternative subforum right now. Seriously, just go look at it. What exactly do you see there?
It’s honestly pretty telling that ever since they shut down that thread where those total frauds were out there peddling absolute garbage like it was gospel, the whole "clash" on the alternative forums has just vanished. There’s no more friction between the people actually looking for hard evidence and the scammers trying to sell us snake oil. It’s all gone quiet because the con artists finally lost their platform to fleece everyone.
Honestly, we don't even need a dedicated moderator at all. It would be more than enough if the supermoderator just stepped in to shut down threads that are nothing but blatant lies, people making wild accusations without a shred of evidence, or those obvious money-making schemes where people are clearly profiting indirectly. That's really all it takes.
If you look at this from a purely scientific standpoint, the whole system finally swung back into equilibrium once that massive wave of absolute nonsense—the very thing causing all this instability—was effectively shut down by Nice.

So, what am I even supposed to say about this?
Ethan Barrett22 said:...
Look, I’m going to be completely blunt here and say this without any hesitation at all: if you're looking for someone, I am wholeheartedly recommending you to Nico.
Of course, if you’re even capable of doing it—and more importantly, if you actually have the will to follow through...
...

🤦
It honestly baffles me that our chief little con artist didn't have the sense to color-code all that text and throw some bold formatting in there just to give his nonsense a bit more weight. 😁
I’m expecting a thank-you note from Gregory Ramirez2 pretty soon, at which point he’ll likely jump on the bandwagon and recommend Elizabeth Jackson without even thinking twice about it.😁
Look, guys, you both got caught red-handed lying, and frankly, that’s all the proof I need to say you're absolutely not cut out for a moderator role.

Anyone posting on the fringe forums can't be considered normal.
Outside moderators will jump ship from that crew in a heartbeat.

I honestly think the only thing left to do is go on some barefoot religious pilgrimage to Fatima or something equally ridiculous, maybe just go out and bake in the sun.😳

It’s great that you chimed in. Honestly, I think you’d make an excellent moderator. I feel like I’ve already mentioned this somewhere else—I can’t even remember where—so I’m just going to say it again right here.
Look, I don't actually know Bellamy personally, but based on reading through his posts, I've come to the conclusion that he'd be a solid choice for a moderator.
In my own opinion, Bellamy is a sharp guy, and he's grounded enough and rational enough to handle moderation duties.
Alright, maybe he isn't quite *that* brilliant 😁, but you don't need to be Einstein to moderate topics like these. It's pretty obvious to all of us that carrot juice isn't molecularly identical to human blood (well, maybe at a subatomic level), and posts claiming otherwise definitely need to be sanctioned.
Moderation alternatives - specific question for Nica in Feedback & Suggestions ·
stormyrider28 said:...just let those of us who are actually active and contributing to the alternative scene propose our own candidates for moderators, because maybe one of them would actually step up and take care of things once and for all.

🤦
That is an incredibly stupid suggestion.
But let’s play along and assume you were actually chosen as a moderator. I really want to know how on earth you would handle someone posting complete nonsense. For instance, if the main quack on this board writes that "eating ten raw bone fragments a day for a few months will cure cancer," would you actually sanction a claim like that, seeing as there isn't a shred of evidence to support it?

I'm also curious how you would react if someone typed out that carrot juice is virtually identical to human blood; would you slap them with a penalty for that, or just give them a warning?

And how exactly would you moderate posts that spread blatant lies from bottom-tier conspiracy websites, assuming someone actually points out that the claim is fake? We saw this happen recently when the resident fraudster linked some supposed "doctor," only for it to turn out the whole thing was a total fabrication. Not long before that, it was proven that he had linked to a "study" that didn't even exist, let alone been published in any legitimate scientific journal. And yet, all of this was being promoted by "your" alternative crowd.

At the end of the day, two of the top contenders for a moderator position have already been caught lying through their teeth.
So, there are plenty of reasons why none of you can or should be moderators. Of course, if the big boss decides to allow it, then fine, but there is a very high probability that someone is going to screw everything up down the road because of something like "consuming ten raw bone fragments..." and then we'll all be dealing with a massive clusterfuck.
I honestly don't know why I even bother engaging on these boards sometimes because it feels like we're constantly hitting the same brick walls over and over again. Every time I try to bring up a point that actually requires some level of critical thinking or a deep dive into the nuances of how things really work, I get met with this shallow, surface-level noise that tells me nothing. It’s exhausting. You look at the way people discuss these topics and it’s clear there’s no real substance, just a bunch of people shouting into the void without any regard for the actual complexities involved. We need to be more rigorous if we ever want to move the needle on anything meaningful, but instead, we just circle the drain of mediocrity. kaže:
...

Look, we need to start respecting the rules of this thread just like we’re expected to respect the rules in every other discussion on this board. It shouldn't be this difficult to maintain some basic order.

There are plenty of people out there who would be more than willing to step up and moderate this thread—for instance, I’d personally put my money on... bennya ...or anyone else who actually stays on topic and contributes something meaningful to the discussion.

😁
It’s definitely Benny—you know, that guy who claimed he could see stars in broad daylight and then got caught red-handed in his own lies.

There is absolutely no way one of you people could ever serve as a moderator. It’s just fundamentally impossible because your lot can't seem to grasp the basic concept of an actual argument or what a cold, hard fact even looks like.

If we’re actually sitting here debating who should step up as a moderator, I’m putting my money on Beljkija. Now, look, I haven't personally sat down and had a long-winded discussion with Beljkija about anything, but I’ve been watching how he operates. I see the way he writes, the way he lays things out, and frankly, it's pretty obvious the guy is incredibly sharp. He knows his stuff.
I owe Beljkija an apology for coming onto this forum to talk about him without even bothering to ask his permission first.
I honestly don't know why people keep bringing this up, but here we go again. It’s like some people just refuse to look at the actual data because they’re too busy clinging to these outdated, half-baked ideas that have been debunked a thousand times over. You see these arguments popping up in every corner of the internet, and frankly, it’s exhausting to watch everyone pretend there’s even a debate to be had when the reality is staring them right in the face. It's the same old song and dance, a constant cycle of misinformation being passed off as profound insight, and I am just so incredibly tired of playing referee for people who clearly haven't done a shred of actual research. kaže:
...

You people just won't stop, will you? Seriously, you're absolutely nuking this place. I’ve been hanging around these boards for a long time, and I can say with total confidence that I have never seen anything quite like this. It is honestly fascinating—in the worst way possible—how you lot can swoop in on a thread meant for grievances and complaints just to turn it into another complete disaster zone. You take a topic intended for venting and somehow manage to desecrate it further. It’s just unbelievable.

...

If anyone is actually ruining this thread, it’s you and your crowd. You guys are flooding this space with such an embarrassing amount of pure stupidity that it's honestly pathetic—and I'm not even just talking about this specific discussion.
Look, let's say you were out there writing about how to actually fix a herniated disc using Breuss's method.
So, my buddy Ibrahim-Pr was actually telling me that ever since he started staring directly at the sun, his vision has been sharper than ever.
Benny was going on about how his eyesight is so insanely sharp that he can actually spot stars in the middle of the day.

This is exactly how those "alternative medicine" types operate around here.
So, looks like Carl Friedrich Gauss is finally weighing in with his two cents.
loneskipper3 said:I accidentally stumbled into the alternative medicine section of this site, and I was immediately hit in the face by a thread about "cancer treatments." Honestly, you wouldn’t expect to see something like that permitted on a public forum with this much traffic. I went in thinking maybe we could have a rational, high-level discussion about alternative fields of research—you know, looking at areas that have yielded interesting preliminary results but still suffer from tiny sample sizes or methodological gaps. But what I actually read there? It was absolutely unbelievable. You have people here seriously citing charlatans like Breuss and "Dr." Glidden—do yourselves a favor and Google them; their supposed explanations for how the human body works and how healing occurs make the religious dogma of the Holy Trinity look tame by comparison. Worse yet, people are actively sharing advice on this forum that is genuinely life-threatening. To any actual doctor or scientist, it’s blindingly obvious that the people posting here don't have the slightest clue about the basic principles of biology or chemistry, let alone medical science or how the scientific method actually functions.

...

so eventually, because they can't handle an actual reasoned debate, some "alternative medicine" enthusiast will just drop a line like this:

Larry Allen34 said:...

Ethan Barrett22 said:...

Ibro, you are honestly a pathetic individual.

If you're so against it, why on earth are you constantly linking to "doctors" who aren't even licensed?
Monty already proved that the last "doctor" you cited was nothing more than a fraud and a total hack.

Furthermore, if you claim to have no interest in scientific evidence, why do you keep sharing news stories from bottom-tier, sketchy websites that conveniently cite "scientific studies" to back up their nonsense?
I've already demonstrated here that the whole thing is a lie—there was no study, and there isn't a single legitimate peer-reviewed journal in existence where such research was ever published.
