Honestly, I’ve never given a damn about those charts. If you can't figure out what sounds good without looking at a ranking, you're doing it wrong—especially now that everything is basically at your fingertips. And yeah, he earned his spot 😁. Besides, I totally agree that music is getting stale lately, and I'm not just talking about the mainstream garbage.

The EPs I was spinning back then were those 7'' records at 33—different vibe entirely—but yeah, this one’s definitely got a fancier format 🙂I checked out Dead or Alive, but honestly, nothing beats the original for me.

Look, I don't think being a punk is some badge of honor worth bragging about—if anything, it’s the opposite. Heh. Punks are just outcasts in their own way; you can put in the effort, but at the end of the day, you’re still just doing your own thing. That’s what real punks are to me. Then you've got the posers who try way too hard to "be" punk, only to eventually realize they never actually were, and then they move on. Whatever. Good luck to 'em.

And look, I didn't just stick to those basic entry-level punk bands for long—I dove straight into the deep end pretty quick—but I still think they're solid, even with thousands of obscure acts out there.
