Haven't watched it yet, but from what I can tell, that's exactly what they were aiming for.☕

Rating: 1, worst comedy of the year. You're better off watching Britta

LOL... just another masochist🤣🤣

Starship Troopers 3: Marauder 1/5 - TRAILER
Look, I know plenty of people think the second movie was total trash regardless of whether I or anyone else tries to defend it, but trust me, the sequel is (once again) a masterpiece compared to this third one. I honestly don't even have the words for how bad this is... everything about it just sucks. We’re talking pathetic directing (I mean, Edward Neumeier might have written decent scripts once, but he should definitely stay away from the director's chair), even worse action (it looks like they just strapped a camera to a tripod, hit record, and let the crew shoot at each other while changing angles every few seconds), plus the acting is laughable and the CGI is bottom-tier. To make matters worse, they actually had a bigger budget than the second film—a whopping $20 million—and "better" actors (Casper van Dien is back, along with Jolene Blalock from Star Trek : Enterprise), but it's all wasted. The plot is stupid, the acting is abysmal, and the characters are just as bad (we've got a singing marshal, a pissed-off sergeant, a lieutenant who can barely speak English, and some annoying broad on the ship constantly rambling about faith and God that I'd love to just shut up). The only bright spot is a tiny bit of nudity, but since it isn't a naked Jolene Blalock, it's hardly worth mentioning.
In short—a complete disaster!!!

Andrew Roberts3 said:This totally reminds me of an episode of "Las Vegas" where Van Damme actually played himself. Basically, he was supposed to pull off some crazy stunt for a movie—I think it involved jumping a motorcycle off the top of a hotel—and... well, he dies. It cracked me up! I mean, seriously, Van Damme kills himself off in a TV series? That actually caught me totally off guard...

Yup... that was in one of those "Las Vegas" episodes, which was actually titled "Fast & Furious" (LOL), and it was hilarious... like, he's this huge star, goes out to do his own stunts, and just dies lol. The best part was everyone in the hotel mourning him hahaha... man, what a trip.🙏🤣

I, Stallone was also a guest on that show, but his cameo wasn't nearly as funny hehe...
Kill Bill in Movies ·
Sadly, the early reviews for the movie are pretty much a disaster...😢😢

http://www.joblo.com/review-righteous-kill

Writing this review feels incredibly depressing. I’ve known the hype surrounding this one has been trash for months, but I honestly thought the crew behind Kill Bill might actually knock it out of the park. I mean—come on—you've got Robert De Niro and Al Pacino teaming up for a cop movie. How bad could it possibly be? Unfortunately, the answer is: pretty damn bad.

They're giving it a 5.5/10

This movie absolutely crushed it at the Sundance Film Festival too...

http://twitchfilm.net/site/view/jcvd-review/

Quote : that JCVD is able to show you a new face to its star and subject at all makes it a major accomplishment. That it does so with such an incredible sense of style, insight, and pure entertainment value makes it a revelation. Ladies and gentlemen, after spending decades turning out lowest-common-denominator action pictures Jean-Claude Van Damme has just made a truly great film. No matter what criteria you may use to judge it - scripting, cinematography, humour, action, even dramatic performance - JCVD is one remarkable piece of work. Yes, I flat out love this film.

Why did you even bother finishing it? It’s hilarious watching people force themselves through stuff they clearly hate or that was trash from the jump lol🤣

Appaloosa (2008) in Movies ·
Westerns have become a pretty rare breed over the last 15 years or so. You can literally count the titles from that era on one hand—"3:10 to Yuma", "The Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford", "The Proposition",
"Blueberry", "The Missing", "open range", and "American ******s". A few of those actually hit the mark according to critics, especially "3:10 to Yuma", "The Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford"
,
"The Proposition", and image"open range", while others like "Seraphim Falls"image kind of flopped. The next potential hit might be the western image"Appaloosa", directed by none other than Ed Harrisimage, who also stars alongside Viggo Mortensen, imageRenée Zellweger, and
Jeremy Irons
. I don't know about you guys, but based on the trailer and stills, this looks promising. It actually reminds me a bit of "Deadwood", which was a phenomenal series and easily one of the few high-quality western projects we've seen lately.

Heh, I’m actually pretty curious about that too, since I've got my own entry in the Sundance Film Festival...😁
In a perfect world, someone would just hand Mathieu Kassovitz all of the BABYLON A.D. footage and let him tighten up the edit himself. We'd probably end up with something way more impactful than this messy patchwork. As it stands, All of The BABYLON A.D. felt too diluted, choppy, and just plain clumsy. It's like think a bubble Gum version of Children of Men cut together by an ADHD Apa. Still, thanks Zeus above or is IT below that the pacing was fast and furious, the cast was solid, and I actually found it pretty entertaining. I'm seriously crossing my fingers for a Director’s Cut on Blu-ray. I'd drop some cash on that in a heartbeat. Just make it happen!

We don't have to, because a movie is a movie and this is a film forum—it's not like we're breaking any laws by going off-topic... but fine, whatever. Actually, scratch that, we already are.👍

briskbison41 said:T-Bag playing the villain in transporter?😁...cool.
Looks solid based on the trailer.
We'll see how it performs at the US box office during opening weekend.🙂

btw is that an Audi S8 in the movie?

Look... if you've got the face for a villain, you're in. hehe...😁

If it pulls in what the first two did (the 1st made $25M, the 2nd made $43M) and considering the budget is low—around $30M—it'll be a win.

As for the car... some forums are saying it's an S8... I wouldn't know for sure though... I don't know much about cars, lol.

briskbison41 said:So you're saying the third one sucks?
hm... the trailer looks pretty solid, but we all know trailers don't always tell the whole story.

Look... 80% of the audience and critics say it's good, but honestly, I can't even wrap my head around why because I barely made it to the end. Between the shaky cam, the frantic editing, and that disappointing finale that doesn't reveal anything we didn't already learn in parts one and two—it was a struggle. And I'm usually pretty easygoing and not as picky as most viewers... but part two was miles better. There’s really just one part in the third movie I actually liked: that scene at the station where Warren tells someone over the phone how to dodge the agents... that was cool. Everything else? Just irritating...
But hey, take the risk and check it out... maybe it'll click for you.😉
Iconic movie fight scenes in Movies ·
Justin Smith21 said:Well, there are a few cult classics out there, but I’d definitely vote for the "Nada vs. Frank" scene in They Live. Unlike most of the other suggestions, this one has TONS of style—mostly because it's just a guy trying to force his buddy to put on sunglasses... hilarious, and it feels like the longest recorded moment ever. Probably isn't true, I just can't remember anything longer...

Alright then... personally, I wouldn't say it has much style at all... actually, quite the opposite... it's got zero style, it's just raw, gritty... brutal, and obviously hilarious lol... and as for the length... yeah, I'm pretty sure there are longer ones... but it's legendary regardless, haha.😁👍
