Awesome! John Doe! You seriously just made my night, and hey, I really hope your colleagues are on the same page too!👍
I'm totally on board with this suggestion 👍
Honestly, larger avatars would be such a relief so I don't have to strain my eyes just to see who's posting, plus they'd actually look decent! These tiny ones feel like we're all still rocking 15-inch monitors from the stone age, when literally everyone is using 19-inch screens or bigger these days.
Rachel Reed2 said:It’s 2011, not 2000. Monitors are huge and high-res now...
Does it even make sense to stick to 50x50 pixel avatars? 🤷
Increasing them to 100x100, or at least 75x75, wouldn't hurt the Reddit layout.
And don't just claim it would ruin the look of the site...
🤦 😁

It would be awesome if one of the moderators could jump in here and let us know if there's any hope for this, or if we should just stop holding our breath.

Right now, all I'm seeing on the torrent sites are those crappy TS and Cam rips, so honestly, I think I'll just hold out for something actually watchable once the first MPEG version finally drops.
I am 100% watching this just because the gorgeous, absolutely stunning, and totally sexy Maggie Gyllenhaal is in it 😉

I was honestly kind of shocked that nobody had jumped in to make a dedicated thread for this yet, so I figured I’d just take the initiative and get things moving myself! 😁
Just so we're all on the same page here,
Tom Cruise actually already has his own separate discussion thread 😉
going on elsewhere.
Dolphin Tale (2011)
September 23 Release Date
TrailerThe latest flick starring Morgan Freeman, and get this—he’s joined by an awesome cast including Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, and Harry Connick Jr.
A "fairy tale about a dolphin" featuring a prosthetic tail
It's an unbelievable story about a dolphin who ends up with an artificial tail, and honestly, with Morgan Freeman leading the charge, I don't think anyone can stay indifferent because that dolphin is basically a "real actor," and the whole story is just so moving and heartfelt.
So, Dolphin Winter is five years old now, but he actually lost his tail when he was just two months old after getting caught in a trap near a beach. To pull off the surgery for this dolphin—who is pretty much on the verge of becoming a major Hollywood star—they actually raised $125,000, and in "Dolphin Tale," Morgan plays a scientist named Kevin who's the one behind Winter's life-saving operation.
Director Charles Martin Smith mentioned how incredibly easy it was to work with Winter, even though this is the little guy's first movie, and he thinks the dolphin's future in Hollywood is totally set.
"Winter behaved like a total movie star on set, and it was unbelievably easy to capture him looking both happy and sad."
The movie started hitting theaters across the US this weekend, and critics are already calling it a "beautiful and touching love story."

I'm really hoping this movie turns out to be good without being too cheesy, you know? I seriously hope I don't end up disappointed.
Wait, so we're getting two different Snow White movies in such a short span of time? Like, what is actually happening lately? 🤷
Honestly, I’m not even mad about it—I just really hope they both turn out to be solid flicks.
Can you believe it? In less than two months, the Muppets are finally coming back! 🙂
I am seriously buzzing about this, honestly. I’m just sitting here hoping they can actually pull off that magic and transport me right back to my childhood, full of all those laughs and good times.

I just added all four movies from the Shrek animated film series to my IMDb watchlist, so I'm basically planning a massive marathon over the next few days!
So, I just stumbled upon some DivX stuff popping up on the torrent sites, and hey, if you're into that, go nuts!
I’m actually throwing it into my download queue right now so I can mess around with it over the next few days.
And check out this new poster I found:

Man, it looks absolutely killer, honestly just as badass as the original one.
Drew Sanchez82 said:Honestly, the only reason I'd even bother sitting through this one is for Alexa Vega and Jessica Alba 😁

So yeah, I'm basically just sitting here waiting for a decent digital copy to drop so I can actually get a good look at them! 😁
Nicholas Chavez7 said:Does anyone happen to know where I can download this movie?
What do you mean "where" 😕 lol, just hit up the usual torrent sites 😉
It looks like it’s still only available as a cam rip right now, but honestly, the quality isn't half bad! Check out these screenshots and see for yourself:

.

Seems alright, we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.
Frank Moore4 said:And I totally forgot to mention the biggest kicker—it's being directed by Roland Emmerich. 😁
Thanks, Frank Moore4
e.
So, I just checked out the trailer after Frank Moore4ed me to watch it, and man, the promises being made in there make me think the movie might actually be decent, but hey, who knows right? We'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.
Frank Moore4 said:Nope.
Seriously, man, just watch the trailer and actually click through the links before dropping "questions" like that. 🙄
Alright, alright.
Fair point—I'll definitely check out the trailer and dig through those links before giving any more "answers" like that one. 🙄
Is this something along the lines of Alien/Aliens?
Man, can we just take a second to talk about *Scarface*? I mean, seriously, how much of an absolute powerhouse is this movie? You sit down to watch it and you're immediately hit with that raw, unfiltered energy that only 1983 could deliver. It’s just such a wild ride from start to finish, isn't it? I was thinking about it the other day—is there any other era where crime dramas felt this visceral, or was it just the magic of this specific cast and crew coming together at the perfect moment? You've got Al Pacino giving what might be one of the most iconic, high-octane performances in cinema history, and honestly, I don't think anyone else could have captured that specific kind of manic, desperate ambition quite like him. He makes you feel every single heartbeat of Tony Montana's rise and his inevitable, crashing fall. And let's be real, the style of this movie is just legendary. The neon, the excess, the sheer unapologetic swagger of it all... it’s basically a masterclass in visual storytelling. It doesn't hold your hand, and it certainly doesn't play nice, which is exactly why it works so well. It’s gritty, it’s loud, and it’s totally unforgettable. Do you ever find yourself rewatching it just to catch those tiny details in the background that you missed the first ten times? Because I definitely do. It’s one of those rare films that stays with you long after the credits roll, leaving you wondering just how far someone will go when they finally get everything they ever dreamed of. What a trip! Hands down the absolute best—we're talking a straight-up masterpiece here! 👍
Honestly, if I had to rank them, *Carlito's Way* would be right up there at the top with *Carrie*, and then everything else just follows behind them!
Angry Men (1957) — absolute masterpiece! 🙏
Buried (2010) — honestly, probably the best one out of all the recent stuff.
The Machine (2013)It’s basically about this kid who ends up becoming buddies with a robot that the U.S. military actually developed in secret way back in the day.
So, yeah, this is an action-comedy flick starring Vin Diesel, though honestly, besides him, I don't really know much about the rest of the cast.
