Taken 2 (2012) in Movies ·
I only sat through this movie because the first one was actually incredible. This sequel? It doesn't even come close. It’s just predictable, exhausting, and riddled with a massive pile of plot holes...

I'm based out of Indianapolis and I’d love to go, but I don't have anyone to go with 😢. Is there any way to just buy a ticket through one of our local agencies that handles organized group travel? Because honestly, I can't make heads or tails of these Canadian hieroglyphics on this site.
Hey everyone. So, I’ve finally been hit by this stupid Ureaplasma nonsense too. Got a positive swab back about two weeks ago. I knocked back some Doxycycline for a week, but honestly? Nothing. I’m still dealing with all the same symptoms... intense lower abdominal pain, that constant burning when I pee, and occasional discharge. I'm at my wit's end here, I just don't know what else to do 😢.

Richard Wilson4 said:The only good parts are how much it looks like the comic and the hot British actress. Everything else sucks, even for a mindless summer blockbuster.

Captain America: The First Avenger deserves better

It definitely could've been handled better. Personally, I thought Thor hit a bit harder, but hey, that's just how I see it...🙂.
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) in Movies ·
The movie was decent enough, I guess, but nothing to write home about. It’s packed with action, the cast actually puts in some work, and the plot holds up okay... there are definitely some logic gaps here and there, but honestly, who cares? It’s not like it ruins everything. The ending is left wide open, just like pretty much every other Marvel flick, so you know they're already cooking up a sequel. Now we're all just sitting around waiting for The Avengers 🙂.
Joshua Ramirez2 said:hey guys, what else can we talk about?🙏

my absolute favorite part has to be when BAM holds his phone right by his crotch and films himself peeing on people🙏🙏

it’s honestly such a shame this is their final movie😢

never say never🙂.
This movie is basically just pure brain rot, perfect if you want to switch off your thinking and just laugh at how much of an idiot these guys are. It’s definitely one of those flicks you can put on over and over again... The absolute highlight for me had to be that chaotic brawl with the mussels in the bar 😂🤣
Faster (2010) in Movies ·
Alright, look, it’s an action flick. If you’re into that kind of thing, fine, but it isn't exactly breaking any ground. I’ll be honest though... I actually expected it to be a total train wreck, but somehow, against all odds, it turned out to be pretty decent.

Yeah, I'm with you there. I've lost count of how many times I've blasted that track on repeat after finishing the film. And man, that movie is pure genius 👍. Seriously, if you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and go watch it.
Etude - An Epic Love Story (2011) in Movies ·
Caught this one the other day and figured I’d throw my two cents into the ring too 😁. Honestly? This thing was a blast. It’s easily one of the most enjoyable movies I’ve seen in a long time from our side of the pond. The atmosphere is spot on—they really nailed the vibe for each historical era, right down to the costumes and the sets... The cast is entertaining, the dialogue actually lands, and the music fits perfectly. For me, the absolute highlight was that sequence in the Submarine 🙂. That Western segment and the whole bit with Mozart were played surprisingly well; you could almost feel the tension like you would in a massive Hollywood blockbuster. When you consider they weren't working with big-name A-listers or massive studio directors, and considering this was put together on a fraction of the budget used for those overrated pieces of trash produced by major US studios, it’s a seriously impressive feat. If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and watch it. Massive props to Anthony Smith3 and the rest of the crew—keep doing what you're doing.
The life and work of Mel Gibson in Movies ·
Even after all these years, Mel Gibson still holds the title of the best actor in my book. It honestly kills me that he isn't showing up in movies much lately—I mean, > was okay, but that’s about it—and I really hope things change. I don't want him stuck behind the camera as just a director... his acting and his films are just freaking fantastic. You can't watch his body of work and not love him as an actor. Just look at the run he had: >, >, >, >, >, >, >, and so on. What else is there to say? He was truly incredible 🙂.
What's the best David Fincher movie? in Movies ·
Look, don't get me wrong, Seven is an absolute masterpiece, but when I actually had to sit down and pick just one... it’s Fight Club, hands down. A total, unrepeatable work of art 🙂.
Frankenstein (2011) in Movies ·
Total waste of time. Just finished watching it today. I mean, sure, there’s plenty of action, the cast isn't even terrible, and you can tell the production value was high... but still. That main villainess—you know, the one from Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries—was just gross. Honestly, I thought the first movie was better, though this one wasn't a complete disaster either. If you live for mindless action, I guess it's a hit for you 🙂. Oh, and regarding that comparison between Joan Allen and the driver... there is absolutely zero connection there. Near the end, the villain (September Jones) says she’s going to call Joan Allen to be the manager (she even shows a photo), so it hasn't been that long, maybe a few years at most. I really don't get why people are trying to link those two, but whatever...

She’s actually done horror before...
I haven't actually sat down to watch the original one yet, but honestly? This version hits way harder. That whole setup with the lightbulb and that twisted "deadly game" they play... man, it's just intense. And then it's over 👍. Definitely worth checking out if you have the time 🙂.
Frankenstein (2011) in Movies ·
I’m telling you, it’s going to be total garbage. Especially since they didn't even bring Statha back for the sequel. They are seriously overdoing it with these constant "prequels" lately... just non-stop nonsense.
Knight & Day (2010) in Movies ·
Caught this one last night. Honestly? It’s a blast. Just non-stop action and laughs from start to finish... really solid entertainment. And man, Tom Cruise gets absolutely roasted in this thing. If you're into those high-energy action comedies, you definitely need to check it out 🙂.

Now we just need briskhound2 to confirm...

BTW, was everything okay with the shipment?? Nothing got trashed during transit? I'm asking because when I got my package about two weeks ago—some steelbook edition—it looked like someone had taken a hammer to the envelope when I finally opened it!!!

Nah, everything's fine. It obviously gets beat up on the way here because who knows what those idiots at the border are doing...

Jerry Sanders96 said:Man... let's be real, the fourth installment is already a total disaster, so I seriously doubt anyone’s going to lose sleep over having the same actor back again. Honestly, what bugs me way more is seeing Reynolds juggling both Deadpool and Green Lantern at the same time; it feels like we're stuck in this endless waiting game for Deadpool just because he's busy playing Green Lantern first.

But personally, I feel like Green Lantern actually has the potential to be a decent movie, so I'm not really sweating it.
