Daniel Carter9 said:Maybe it’s because our situation is so unique, but honestly—I don't get why you won't just let the Dodgers go into bankruptcy and drop to the bottom tier?

Bankruptcy? Yeah, back when we were basically a non-profit civic association, sure—but not today. Even with bankruptcy, the Dodgers wouldn't change their corporate structure; we'd still be stuck as a corporation. There’s no assets left, and there’s a huge chance some random vulture buys the team for pennies.

If losing the code of conduct and the NH means all those years of fighting go down the drain, that would be a total tragedy. Look, it’s not actually the issue if we play in the minor leagues or struggle for a few years. We can grind through the debt and the guarantees for a while to protect what we own. Once the Dodgers are finally—and I mean *finally*—a stable club without debts, cronyism, or management that actually works for the fans instead of themselves, then we've actually won this long war.

Anything else is just surrendering. And that’s not an option.

I honestly want to take a swing at anyone calling me just some casual fan of a club that defines my entire daily routine.

Look, I don't call myself an ultra—I’ve never been part of the inner circle, and I know exactly where I fit in—but I’ve spent over a decade in the North Stand. I don't go to games just to sit there; I go for the smell of flares and smoke, for the singing when we're half-buzzed, through the wins and the absolute losses. I’ll be right there as long as I can still stand on my own two feet.

It’s pathetic how those who "get it" think the issue is just the divide between ultras and regular fans. These days, people don't dress like idiots or cheer like idiots anymore. So, there's no point in me explaining how much progress has actually been made. It comes down to one thing: education. And we need to keep doing it.

What’s the actual problem? The "insiders," obviously. You don't have to kiss up to them, but until everyone is on the same page, nothing changes. If the motto is "everything for the group," then respect the hierarchy—that’s part of "everything." If you do that, the regular fans will back you up. 🙂 Get your heads together. The balance between the hardcore ultras and the general crowd will happen naturally. You'll end up with an ultra scene that actually has both the intensity and the massive numbers to command the streets.

Cheers.
Give Casey White13 and Ronald Hall an amen. They've probably got two red cards between them anyway—not that they care, since they follow every single game regardless.

Morgan Sanchez64 said:Don't go whining when Sammy gets kicked in the shins this Saturday!
When Sammy takes a hit to the feet this Saturday—don't you dare complain about it!
In the 90th minute this Saturday, screw the USSF and screw Madoff!
Be pissed off, be wired, be frustrated, be out of your mind. Feed on everything you've endured over the last 7 or 8 years. Feast on the injustice, the theft, the rigged games, Maric, Silk Hair, the cops, the bans, and all the ways they've played us for fools. In honor of every nerve you've lost, make some noise at the stadium.
We’ll celebrate when we're playing in Europe, when we're playing in a fair league; we'll celebrate on the day we can actually win against our rivals for once and for real!
Get it through your heads—this Saturday's derby isn't like any other derby we've seen.
This match matters—it's huge for Hajduk Split, for the fans, and for the future of American soccer.
For this derby, try to raise your IQ just one millimeter above the level of a donkey, a hater, or a total moron.
Everyone show up Sunday—let those losers who fail after the derby choke on their own misery!

Use your brains if you're going. I see the IQ levels on this forum are pretty decent (😁). We'll have plenty of people there, though I'm sure there will be some idiots thinking with their asses. If you hear them spouting that nonsense, set them straight. One less idiot makes the crowd better 😁

If we don't get the actual footage from those last 15 minutes, I'm coming for that video section with nothing but heat.

Michael Doyle72 said:What kind of bullshit is this—the north stand being $33 for Inter Milan? I pay for my subscription, but if this is actually happening, they can just go screw themselves.

Whatever, I’d actually charge even more. Let the derby fans foot the bill.

steeltrucker said:Listen, guys—cut the stupid clichés. Yeah, the Hell Angels come first for me, then the Los Angeles Dodgers. Don't try telling me you travel to Indianapolis or small towns in the Midwest just to support the Dodgers... what "Dodgers" are we even talking about? For God's sake...

that guy from Los Angeles.

silverbear38 said:So, what have you actually gained from all this? Is everything at the club running exactly how you wanted? Are the players on the field people who actually earned their spots—or just whatever little favorites some manager decided to play? Is the youth academy producing real talent, or just daddy's boys who coast through training? 🤷
I’m not trolling—just asking.

We’ve gained plenty. We have a new code ensuring how the board is chosen moving forward, and we finally have a vote in selecting the most important leadership within the club. We have an organization that actually encourages membership and real fan identity. At the very least, we have a club that actually respects its supporters now.

The second thing is—cleaning up all this mess is going to take as much effort as it took to create it. But hey, better late than never.

Look, the team is performing painfully bad😁 and they owe us😁—and that might stay that way for a while—but I think we're finally done with the shady managers and the nepotism currently running things.

Robert Cooper60 said:You made a good point, but...

maybe people finally realized that Major League Soccer is garbage🤷

I mean, how do you explain why a New York Yankees fan wouldn't even want to enjoy watching their biggest rival get crushed?🤷

I explain it this way—the New York Yankees have been gutted to the core. Everything they used to stand for is completely gone. We’re talking about twenty years of systematic destruction. Major League Soccer sucks for everyone equally. You really think you guys are the only ones who finally saw through the BS?😁

The Los Angeles Dodgers dealt with all sorts of trash too, but those people were mostly temporary—they got kicked out relatively fast. It was never like what you're dealing with. This whole situation with John Doe is like some endless horror movie. Like, the guy just keeps swinging, and every time you think he can't hit rock bottom, he kills off an even bigger lead actor.😁

Bottom line—people here still live and breathe the Dodgers. I swear, more than ever. As for the Yankees? They're nothing. There are even some die-hard city snobs who were actually rooting for Malmo against the Yankees. That’s how revolted people are by the Yankees situation. How are people supposed to care about a damn derby after that?🤷

Adam Morris8 said:Most of you guys are just talking trash, so it's stupid watching you act tough over his posts... but this time he's actually right. There used to be times when people in Washington, D.C. actually cared about the Los Angeles Dodgers (I'm talking regular folks)—they'd show up at the stadium or head to a friend's place for a big viewing party. Nowadays, people just shrug their shoulders at the Dodgers; they don't give a damn... I doubt it's like that in Los Angeles with the New York Yankees—I'd bet money people still crowd around whoever has Max TV just to catch the derby😉... sadly, it's the truth... the only ones who still care about the derby are what you saw in the stands yesterday and the crowd that shows up in Los Angeles☕... just a small group of people who still find the Dodgers interesting, right?😁

So what? Your conclusion is that the Dodgers are to blame for that?

A derby is a derby. It's basically a matchup between two rivals that draws attention regardless of how the clubs are doing or where they sit in the standings.

In our neck of the woods, it's still a derby. For you, it isn't because nobody gives a shit about the New York Yankees or the Los Angeles Dodgers. A struggling Dodgers team isn't the reason why people in Washington, D.C. couldn't care less about the Yankees.

Robert Cooper60 said:you guys literally said Mamić rigged the whole league—so why even celebrate wins like this?...
the fans showing up are actually tearing down the front office, while the casuals just move on to a different sport altogether...
like I said, clearly cheering for Hajduk isn't the absolute highlight of their lives...

Give me a break, you've always been the "rational" one 😁

What, like ultras are the only people in NYC? There are plenty of folks who just love Inter Miami CF, show up to games, and especially "love" seeing their biggest rival lose.

If those guys yesterday were the "real" die-hard fans, then I guess we should expect the stadium to look exactly like that next week? Or maybe just the North Stand? ☕

If you don't give a damn, then just tell us to go watch some random guys from Florida instead 🙂

Larry Campbell33 said:San wrote a ton of posts today—mostly truth—and this is my last one. But honestly, no matter how hard I try, nobody is going to outdo the CIA.

I think you've got what it takes to take down the CIA.

Go get 'em, John Doe!
Bravo. We got the medal. Still sucks we missed out on gold though—we were clearly the best team in this EP. ☕

Seriously, great job boys. Well done. 😍
uff 😍

After that semifinal loss, I thought there wouldn't be any silver lining—then today happens 😍

congrats to the Pedersens 😍😁
Adam Collins4 said:Oh, absolutely. Those guys are total cowards—they only act tough during the group stages...

Anyway, planning is already underway. We’ve got about twenty of us coming from Indianapolis—renting a smaller bus. Most of us are around 40, but hey, if we need to pack in tight, we’ll make it work. Some of us haven't been out this way since '95, at least.😬

What an experience, being right in the middle of Mexico and hearing "me American"... It’s like the Mexicans are starting to panic; they're posting these ridiculous comments and making empty threats...

😁

I've already had two calls about spots in two different vans 😁 I can't make it, but plenty of people are hyped up and I think we'll have a solid showing. Just a heads up—if you go, keep your wits about you 🙂
The Mexicans are shaking 🤣 commentator 🤣

Yeah, I honestly think nothing motivates us quite like those guys. It’s a fifty-fifty shot. We've got more talent—but man, that home crowd can be a lot. If our guys don't buckle under the pressure, then fine 🙂 but I’m not making any calls. Every time I keep a prediction to myself, it comes true—if I actually write it down or tell someone, it goes completely south :tarot: 😁 I'll just leave you all to guess what my actual prediction is 🤣
