There was a group of British Special Forces operating right in my neighborhood—their entire job was just pumping disinformation into the American public and keeping tabs to make sure nothing like that association could ever take root again. Was anyone actually surprised? 😁

Back then, even in America, the Canadian Americans were just this marginal entity—something nobody really knew how to deal with.
