Anaconda 3: Offspring (2008) in Movies ·
Leave Hoffman alone 😂🤣
I'm only watching this because of Mitch 🙏
Conan: Red Nails (2009) in Movies ·
Anthony Smith3 said:Milius's movie is great for me... regardless of whether it stays true to the book or not, it's the version of Conan I actually want to see...

Look, you have to give him credit for what he pulled off🙏
I’m just saying, compared to the original stories, it falls short.😉
Originally, Edward Summer was supposed to direct this. He spent years developing the initial concept for a six-film series that stayed faithful to REH's original tales. They eventually scrapped that and handed the keys over to Milius.

See, that's exactly why I can't wait for Red Nails to build up the hype for the new Conan(2010)
Conan: Red Nails (2009) in Movies ·
What do you guys actually know? This is how it should look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_t605Th-QI 🤣

Jerry Martin19, maybe that "old school" Conan has prettier animation, but it completely misses that R. E. Howard vibe. On the flip side, Red Nails was made strictly from his story, which is exactly why it feels special and high-quality. 😉

That’s like saying Milius's "Conan the Barbarian" is good.
True, if you haven't read Howard's Conan, that movie will seem great. But anyone who actually read the books knows Milius's version is totally off base 😂 and that the entire plot, story, and character backstory were basically rewritten from scratch. 🤣
Not to mention Thulsa Doom, who was clearly just pulled out of thin air, roughed up a bit, and slapped onto the page.
He’s essentially a disastrously butchered hybrid of the original Thulsa Doom (the main villain in the Kull stories) and the actual big bad from Stygia, Thoth-Amon (who pops up in the second movie—Conan the Destroyer—and has nothing to do with this guy). 😂 It's a mess.
Sandkings (1995) in Movies ·
Laura Palmer25 said:Thanks, briskbison41. Seriously, you can find just about anything on IMDb if you look hard enough.

Who says it's not there?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0667945/ 😉

By the way, The Outer Limits was the series, and Sandkings was just one episode. 😉
The Descent in Movies ·
Then the movie just isn't your thing. You either dig it or you don't. It’s not rocket science; it’s just a matter of taste. 😉
Postal in Movies ·
And let's not forget the silencer 😂🤣
Postal in Movies ·
I won't bother quoting mellowtrucker44 right now, because they pretty much nailed it 😂🤣👍
The movie is pure genius. I actually sat through it four times on my first day after picking it up 😂🤣
Outlander (2008) in Movies ·
Anthony Smith3 said:Man, what a joke... I don't get their move. The movie basically pulled mostly good or solid reviews, so why bother?🤷

Sci-fi doesn't really catch on here, probably for that exact reason. 😢
Outlander (2008) in Movies ·
Anthony Smith3 said:Even better example—it was delayed and barely even hit theaters... honestly wouldn't be surprised if Outlander ends up being late too LOL

If I recall correctly, Domino was delayed pretty much everywhere, not just here. As for Outlander, I doubt it’ll be late, but there's a good chance it skips theaters and goes straight to digital, just like Pathfinder did. I'm hoping that's not the case, but I guess we just wait and see.
Outlander (2008) in Movies ·
Yeah, except Domino was three years late to the party. 😉
Outlander (2008) in Movies ·
JC isn't exactly a Viking in this flick 😂🤣
JC is an Outlander hunting aliens during the Viking era—it’s literally right there in the description. Plus, you can see he's rocking some kind of power armor and high-tech gear 🙏
It's basically 13th Warrior meets The Relic—this is going to be absolutely brilliant, I can't wait 🎉
Warhammer 40,000 in Movies ·
Good, fun trash? 😕
wtf?! Do you even know what defines a trash movie? 👎

I thought the movie was fine—it’s basically a mix of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Blade 2, and stuff like that... maybe even Aliens if you consider the vibe. The acting holds up, especially since the whole thing was shot on a green screen, but I'm pretty sure you missed that. 🙄
Plus, they made this for just $8 million. Honestly, that makes it better in my book.
If you're looking for something massive like The Chronicles of Riddick, you might be disappointed. This isn't that kind of movie. 😉
Hitchcock, Carpenter & Craven in Movies ·
It’s always a bit of a hunt trying to track down their movies, especially if you're looking for an English sub
anyway, feel free to drop every cast list in this thread 🙏
Who says Zagor has never been filmed? There’s actually a Turkish version 🤣
. The same goes for d. Dog (Italian) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109592/
. Btw, there are tons of those Turkish adaptations out there 😂.
DVD subtitles in Movies ·
I've got a bunch of Blu Ray movies (some have American subtitles), but I honestly have no clue if they can actually be ripped 🤷
To be fair, I haven't even bothered looking since I don't really need them, but if something comes to mind, I'll give it a shot
School of Rock in Movies ·
Joshua Doyle192 said:He was basically born to play this part..

That role—and honestly, the whole script—was practically written with him in mind.😉
Lost Boy (1987) in Movies ·
Yeah, a sequel is actually coming out http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1031254/ 😈
It probably won't live up to the original, but hey, at least Corey Haim and Corey Feldman are back 🙏
Where can I find old movies? in Movies ·
stormylynx14 said:I'm only looking for the legal options here.

So, I'm looking for... The Godfather. A classic, though I still think the pacing feels a bit slow by today's standards. Still worth the watch if you haven't seen it.
It's not on Amazon. Not even close. www.bol.chAny other way to track down movies like this?

I can't make heads or tails of this link. It looks like some broken URL from a defunct movie site. Not exactly a great way to spend my afternoon.
Domino's Sucks in Movies ·
It’s a decent enough movie; I don't get why everyone is hating on it so much. Sure, it drags a bit, but it’s definitely worth your time if you actually want to watch something.
Of course, that doesn't apply to people with the attention span of a caffeinated sparrow who can't focus on a single thing for more than five seconds.
I was wondering the same thing. Personally, I think Waterworld was great, and The Postman wasn't half bad either.
