They hide behind foreign flags, adopting weird nicknames and suffixes like xxx-pasha, complete with jihadist slogans in their signatures and some sort of Hamas-inspired hieroglyphic gibberish, all while pretending to seek justice with a hypocritical smirk... totally denying the obvious truth right in front of them (not that anyone bothers to point it out). People like William Gonzalez, that other guy, Justin Allen17, Tahvil Pasha.... all these loudmouths who try to prove their importance by measuring their uncircumcised junk in every single post just to assert some kind of "fatal presence" on this board... 🙄 they are absolutely lobotomizing this entire forum, which any decent reader will purposefully avoid, and once they walk away, they NEVER come back.

Why don't they just take their little shows over to those extremist fringe sites? Their posts, their language, their customs... none of it belongs in a discussion about the history of the former America anyway!!!
Who exactly appointed you as the editor??? 😵

Rules about nicknames. Look, give me some actual recommendations for what a username should be. It doesn't say anywhere that we can't use whatever random stuff you guys on this forum feel like using. As for those comments about the Politics section in the PDF—honestly, you're all kind of overestimating yourselves while underestimating each other at the same time. You clearly know the rules well enough. And look, I’m really not going to get into a debate about who's being sneaky or dishonest, at least not here. If someone has something to say, they should just say it themselves, without everyone else jumping in to stir the pot or throw gasoline on the fire.

Look, it's entirely up to you if you want to be here or not. Nobody is forcing anyone's hand or dragging anyone along, so... yeah.

There was honestly no need to drag this discussion out over three whole pages; all anyone needed to do was answer the questions he laid out at the very start of the thread.

Frank, you claim you’re handing out sanctions just because people are complaining about terms like "Turks" or "converts," but listen—my buddy Frank usually has a good head on his shoulders, so maybe ask yourself this: how can the exact same person be celebrating the Turks and their supposed "Golden Age" in Canada on one thread, yet suddenly take offense at those very same labels on another? 😕

I think we all settled this a long time ago—the users here don't need a spokesperson, a lawyer, a guardian, or whatever else you want to call them...

Credit Bureau - US Credit Report & Debt Records in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Whether she actually had anything to do with that person or if she was even involved with the debt doesn't even matter at this point. The bottom line is the court froze that account. And look, until the court lifts that freeze—meaning until the company actually pays off what they owe—she’s stuck with this restriction. Since she holds the Power of Attorney for the account, she’s basically the one responsible for managing the firm's funds. It’s just simple and honestly pretty pathetic.

It seems like you all find it way more fun to just bicker, insult, and tear each other down instead of actually reporting stuff... and honestly, who can even blame you?

Quote:They say it's impossible to convince a fool, even with facts right in front of them.

Look, sorry, but even a fool can be proven wrong sometimes. They might actually grasp certain things sooner than you guys will. For real, you spend the whole damn day messing around on this fuckin' forum, tossing insults, belittling people, making up names you should be ashamed of, and acting like the world's worst grammarians—but the second things don't go your way, suddenly someone else is at fault. If I've got this right, this is Forum.hr, but people from all over the country can hop on here and join the debate, regardless of their politics, religion, or sexual orientation. So, look, you chose to engage with them, so deal with it yourselves... without the insults and the bullshit. Because if you keep it up, the bans are still coming, and you'll just end up blaming someone else again.

Emily Jackson46 said:What’s the fee if I receive about $1,500 via western union? How much is the commission?

Well, you’ll probably just receive it in dollars and then have to deal with the conversion if you want local cash, so I guess just factor in the exchange rate spread.
Western Union in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Don't forget about that "control number" the sender gets when they wire the cash. They have to pass that along to the recipient so it can be entered on the "money pickup" form.

wiredlynx28 said:To get a Diners Club revolving line, you have to be using their standard card for at least six months. They don't care about your Hrok or any other debts you might have out there; they only care if you've been paying your specific card bills on time. You should see an approval pretty quickly, too—it only took two days for mine to go through after I applied.

I am so done with them and their approval process. I paid my bills religiously for nine months straight, and I never missed a single $667, yet they still rejected me flat out.
I don't have any major beef with them otherwise, but if this is how they handle people, then screw them!

shadowpuma75 said:And when I want to pick up some cash from overseas, what’s the actual process? Do I just head down to the local Post Office, sign up there, and show them a code or something?

You can hit up a post office or just go to a bank somewhere.
Basically, you show up and tell them you're expecting money sent via Western Union. You'll need the sender's full legal name and their address too. And seriously, don't forget that control number the sender gives you—if you don't have that number, you aren't getting a cent.
You fill out their paperwork, wait a bit while they check things over at the branch in San Francisco, and if everything clears, they'll send back a confirmation with the amount you're grabbing. If someone is sending you Euros, you'll probably only be able to withdraw US Dollars here, so then you'd have to exchange them into Euros later... you're gonna lose a little on the exchange rate; it's not huge, but yeah, you lose money. That's pretty much it.

Yeah, okay, sure, but she's basically just assuming you have a foreign currency checking account open (not some weird business account thing).

I gave JPMorgan Chase a call earlier today, and they informed me that I could go ahead and open an account as long as I bring my ID and a document showing my Social Security number
I believe they mentioned there would be a fee of approximately $10
Does anyone happen to know roughly how long the wait is before the account is fully active and ready for use...?

Well, your account is open right then and there, so you can start using it immediately. I guess you might have to wait a bit for the debit card to arrive in the mail, but you should be able to handle transactions right away.

Anonymous said:Back when I turned 18, I opened both my USD and foreign currency accounts without any hassle—paid the $13 fee and just waited for the cards to show up in the mail. I signed up for Online banking back then too. It wasn't until recently that I actually needed a checking account; I didn't have much use for one before.

I don't own any apartments or run a business or anything.

I mean, I'm pretty sure you actually have a foreign currency checking account. There's no way they'd be stupid enough to open a basic foreign currency giro account for you instead. 🤔

I guess I'm just saying... it’s about housing. It’s about where you live. People need places to stay, right? But honestly, the whole situation feels totally broken. Maybe it's just me, but it's frustrating as hell. kaže:
Foreign currency accounts. Seriously. So, I've got it, but... I don't actually have a business license or an LLC set up or anything. I guess. 🙂

🙂

How on earth did you pull that off?! Seriously, what kind of trick was that? 🤔
Because I know they don't just let regular people open those kinds of accounts out of nowhere. 🤷

So, uh, you got some apartments you're renting out or something like that?

Anonymous said:Your best bet is to head over to JPMorgan Chase. You can set up both a domestic dollar account and a foreign currency account—for each one, you'll get a $6.75 Visa Electron card with a PIN. There's also the option to open a standard checking account where you'd receive a Maestro card. All of these cards will work perfectly fine at any ATM.

Yep, all five points are right, just a tiny correction; you can open a USD checking account and a foreign currency account.

@Mary — wasn't intentional, just an old habit from work, I guess. 🙂

David Rogers18 said:So, what’s even the deal with someone showing up to a Thompson concert wearing some extremist hat? Like, what does Tony or any of those other guys have to do with that one girl? It's like seeing someone wear a weird political slogan at a Metallica show—it doesn't really reflect on the band itself, right?
Nothing at all.
So, why even bother putting that out there? Honestly, it just feels like you're being a total hypocrite.☕

Honestly, why on earth would I ever judge someone just because they wanted to pay their final respects to Tony? It seems pretty unnecessary to me, really. 🤷I mean, let's be real, Arkan didn't exactly show up to his funeral.🤷
I mean, honestly, Tony's mom really should have just swatted his hand away when he was acting like that—it's like, come on, what are you even talking about? Since when is being a total jerk something people should be getting a pass for instead of facing the music?
Honestly, I really have no clue what's going on with you.🙄

Snowy, you total hypocrite, that girl in the photo wearing the extremist cap definitely didn't build an empire on blood and crimes the way Ceca did, all thanks to her husband who was proven to have carried out ethnic cleansing.
Hey Snowy, just so you know, Tony and Ceca were actually total best buds.☕

You hit the nail on the head there. I mean, Tony was a friend to everyone, really. No matter where he went, nobody could deny him; nobody hated him or cast him aside. He just sang about love—whether it was going well or falling apart—and life in general. He was a friend to all because he actually valued people for who they were, regardless of their background or where they came from. He didn't pick sides or judge anyone. ☕

Come on, give me a different argument already; you haven't brought up anything else in the last fifteen posts besides that whole Toše-Ceca-Arkan parallel. ☕

As for my choice, I'm going with Thompson. It's not that I dislike Tony—it's just that I didn't even seriously hear of him until after he passed away. Everyone was like, "Tony Proeski is gone."; and I was just like, "Who?" I didn't care back then, and honestly, I care even less today.

No, I haven't. I'm actually kind of terrified that someone near me is out there predicting the future... 🙂 🤣

Setting aside all the humanitarian stuff or how much they actually cared about people... One guy vanished for ages, but he'll be remembered forever; the other might just disappear overnight, and people will forget him way faster.
It's pretty sad for both of them, honestly, considering how many fans they both have.

Brandon Myers said:Trust me, Thompson has put way more into charity than people give him credit for. A huge chunk of his concerts during the war were actually fundraisers, and he kept that energy going later on with stuff like those Derbi actions to support firefighters. He even did some work recently helping out with student housing over in Herzegovina and things like that. There's just so much he does behind the scenes, it's just that he isn't the type to go around bragging about it. 😛

I think you got your wires crossed a bit; Tosh didn't need his agents to hype up his charity work—everyone just knew who he was.
Not that I'm questioning who did more for the good of others, though.

Harold Torres4 said:True, though I did skim those first two pages, and honestly, the rest of it felt like a complete tangent. Besides, what they’re talking about isn't even particularly budget-friendly or accessible to everyone—I mean, let's be realistic, not everyone has a massive cushion sitting in their checking account at all times...
anyway, my main point is that I just can't wrap my head around how certain companies, like PayPal or Moneybookers, can facilitate transfers for basically nothing, yet my bank hits me with a massive $67 fee for a simple transaction...

For Moneybookers, you'll be paying $10 in ESB. As for PayPal, if you want to use them, you need to have one of those cards, right? So why not just open a foreign currency account? There's usually no monthly fee for those anyway. You get a card you can register via NET to pay for stuff, shop, or receive funds directly onto your VISA Electron debit card from that account. If I'm following you correctly, that pretty much solves your "problems."

The king hired his crazy nephew,
his cousin's kid and his dog, God bless 'em.
Then he grabs his sisters and uncles,
plus his godparents and three neighbors too.
The King gave them houses and official cars,
and for the holidays, they’d roast a whole bull.
Happy Americans, living the dream,
with one lunatic for every person in the scheme.
Everyone has an office. You walk through the door,
and they laugh in your face. They say: "Come back tomorrow!"
Tomorrow means you start at the end of the line again.
They just laugh and say: "Hey, pay the processing fee!"
So you go back, and the lunatic tells you:
"The boss isn't in today!" — yeah, right.
Then you show up again, feeling totally miserable:
"There's a new law now, come back in two weeks!"
Two weeks later you swing by, and there's a new lunatic sitting there:
"It's expired!" — they laugh — "That fee doesn't count anymore!"

Look, no matter how insulting that poem is, I actually have to address this part specifically, because I've dealt with it firsthand.
Nowadays, everyone acts like their own boss. Everyone plays at being some big shot, charging you for useless crap over and over... it just goes to show how we function as a legal and social nation.
It's honestly pathetic that people get jobs based on who they know (which isn't even news) and how thick their envelope is, instead of hiring competent, capable people that the US actually needs to move forward.
