I mostly keep things light on this forum, just joking around. I’ll drop a bit of truth here and there, but I generally avoid giving a full report on my actual life just to dodge the judgment. When I reply to someone with a joke, it usually ends up bothering me more than them, though maybe that's just me. There are so many trolls and clones floating around that it's impossible to tell who's actually being real. What is actually wrong with people like that? What kind of twisted hobby is it to fixate on someone, track their posts, and constantly tear them down when you don't even know them in real life and likely never will?
Could there be a connection to that psychological phenomenon where you can't stand someone in your actual life, so you project those traits onto a stranger online? You decide they remind you of that one person, and then you lash out at them as a way to vent all the pent-up frustration you've been suppressing from dealing with that person in reality—someone you're forced to tolerate far beyond your breaking point.
It happened to me once in a specific thread. I didn't like their posts or their perspective, and I realized I was subconsciously linking them to someone I know personally. I got so caught up in the urge to discredit them that I was practically hovering over my keyboard, waiting for their next post just so I could "put them in their place." Eventually, other users pointed out how aggressive I was being, and I had to admit I was overdoing it.
What are your thoughts on this? 😕

I'm the same way. I get the point of the story. I enjoy knocking someone down a notch... sometimes I feel like I'm going too far, but apparently not🤷 enough yet. Truth is, I use it to deal with some frustrations of my own... but nobody has volunteered to be my target yet. Guess I'm just a milder version of Brenda Cooper3.😲😂

I’m completely wiped out by every possible cold, infection, or virus going around. I just finished my third round of antibiotics in a row. First, it was Medazol for some inflammation downstairs, then Cephalexin because a tiny cut on my skin turned into a full-blown infection immediately, and most recently, I wrapped up Amoxicillin for a swollen lymph node in my neck. All of that on top of a constant cold—stuffy nose, sneezing, chills, headaches, and that low-grade fever. The ones hovering around 100 degrees are always the worst.😢...Now my throat is stinging again and my nose is running like clockwork every single morning. I'm burning through boxes of tissues at this rate.😢
I need to find something to boost my immune system because clearly, it's hit zero.☕

Just noticed some tiny black specks on the toilet paper after peeing. Looks like sand or maybe little stones. Went to see my doctor, but she didn't even bother giving me an exam—just handed over a referral for a CBC, metabolic panel, urinalysis, and a physical urine test. It’s going to be an interesting day tomorrow. Can't wait to see what the results say.☕

Thanks so much. I'm heading to my doctor tomorrow to get a lab referral. I want to check everything through bloodwork first, then maybe ask about scheduling an ultrasound to see what's actually going on.
I had some routine screening done about four months ago, and everything came back fine, including my urine test... except for urobilinogen, which was slightly elevated at 3.2 u/mol. When I mentioned it to my doctor, she brushed it off like it was nothing. But I was reading online that it shouldn't really show up in healthy people—that it could point toward stones or even liver issues.

Hey everyone,
I’m currently on amoxicillin for some swollen lymph nodes in my parotid area. Right before this, I finished a course of Medrol and Keflex. The thing that’s tripping me up is this pain I get on the left side of my abdomen when I go to the bathroom. Basically, as soon as I start to urinate, there’s this immediate discomfort on my left side. I saw my primary care doctor on Monday, and after a quick physical exam, they ruled out a bladder infection since there’s no stinging sensation and no blood.
I also went to my OBGYN the same day just to make sure it wasn't an ovarian issue. Everything checked out fine there.
What’s confusing me is that since I'm taking amoxicillin to treat inflammation in the urogenital system, I can't figure out what this specific left-sided pain means when I try to pee. I'm almost done with the amoxicillin. Any thoughts or advice?

My period usually comes every 25 days. I figure that’s still within the normal range. But a 21-day cycle? That starts looking suspicious when you think about fertility. It could be that the luteal phase is just too short, or maybe there’s a progesterone deficiency.🤷

I had some spotting on day 26 of my cycle🙄 then it stopped Sunday night and hasn't come back since. It lasted maybe a day and a half🙄 It’s annoying because I have no idea what's going on. It isn't pregnancy, and it wasn't even a heavy flow🤷 just that day and a half😕

To figure out how late you are, just count from when you expected it this month. When you see your OBGYN, though, they'll want to know the date of your last period. Hopefully you're keeping track of those dates. False positives on tests are rare, but they do happen. Just get to the doctor ASAP. Have you taken a test yet?
