If the admins have anything else to add, they'll chime in. Until then, we're locking this thread down.

Look, smart, you know I’ve got love for you, but don't give me that crap. You know exactly which side you're on.

It’s becoming pretty obvious why Sash stepped down from his position at Supermodel. He probably wasn't interested in being the one left holding the bag while everyone else looked the other way—and honestly, I wouldn't blame him. Why take the fall for everyone else?

If you're foolish enough to reach into that guy's greedy pocket, don't be surprised when a snake bites you.
After six years—including three years spent being in the thick of it as a moderator for two subforums—it turns out you still can't say a single word without losing your head. Is that how this works now? One wrong move and it's straight to the chopping block?

So, you stripped my moderator status. Fine. Honestly, feel free to go ahead and ban me too if you want, since I already leaked what was happening behind the scenes in the mod lounge.

You guys did me a huge favor. Now I can finally get around to doing some serious deep cleaning around the house.

Screw you all.

Whose side? What are you even talking about? Are you getting pregnancy hormones through your monitor or something? 🙄

You haven't leaked a single thing yet, so maybe just hold off on that too.

Look, I never hid the fact that I was against this, you know? If we can't actually discuss things or disagree anymore without every different opinion being treated like straight-up rebellion, then honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if you guys hit me with something harsher than just a tiny little ban from the moderator section.

I won't get into the specifics because I don't want to drag innocent people into it, but it's pretty obvious to you all that I see exactly what you're aiming for and how I feel about it.

Anyway, I'll just wish you guys the best, maybe while listening to "being in the thick of it." 👋

velvetgull9, I honestly don't know what kind of mood you've been in lately or where this sudden idea even came from. You would've laughed at this exact same thing months ago. Fine, you wrote what you wrote here, but it doesn't change reality.

So that basically means you can't go around demanding people shut down threads that aren't yours. Doesn't matter which sub-forum you're on.

Andrew Foster20 I can't even begin to process this. Seriously. It's like people just stop thinking the second they open their mouths. I was sitting there yesterday, just trying to enjoy my coffee, and I overheard this guy going on about the exact same nonsense. It’s exhausting. Honestly, it makes me want to just walk away from the whole conversation. People need to get it together.
Why hasn't anyone even bothered to reply to that banned guy?

The moderator finally hit him back.

Andrew Foster20 I can't even begin to deal with this right now. Honestly, just looking at what they're saying makes my blood boil. It’s like nobody actually thinks before they open their mouths anymore. I was sitting there earlier, just trying to have a decent morning with my coffee, and then I see this absolute nonsense. It's exhausting. Seriously, how does anyone get anything done with this much noise going on? It's just constant, mindless garbage. Typical.
So, why didn't you, like, just give him an answer?

Look, I don't deal with individual messages or complaints. My only job here is making sure this sub stays organized and follows the rules.

Look, it’s pretty straightforward. Nothing more, nothing less. It really is that simple.

The guy is asking a question, looking for an answer, but nobody responds except for the judge who condemned him.

This is a perfect example of what isn't going to be tolerated on the Governor's platform anymore. Lawyers playing judge and debating other people's complaints is officially off-limits. Thanks for understanding.
Quick question about credit cards in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Tyler Castillo96 said:Thanks for the reply...
I tried digging for an explanation on the JPMorgan Chase website, but honestly, the info over at Visa isn't exactly crystal clear...
Like I said, when I walked into the branch, I told them I wanted a credit card and they didn't even bother asking me what kind I wanted—so I just assumed I was getting some sort of "basic" one. Does anyone actually know what the "standard" card is that you get when they don't ask a single question?🙄I don't have my contracts handy right now, which is why I'm asking here...
It would be great if the answer to point 3 wasn't pure sarcasm...😁But look, the reason I asked is because I know plenty of people who take out a loan and then just ghost everyone—they end up blacklisted at that bank and there's nothing anyone can do about it. So, I figured credit cards might work along those same lines...😛
And like unknown said, forums exist specifically so people can ask questions, and that’s exactly what I’m doing so I can actually learn something. I don't get why you see a problem with that? And for the record, I have zero intention of using this credit card until I know exactly how the whole thing works...:/
That's why I need advice from the pros on here—there are things you just can't ask a banker without looking stupid...
By the way, I was talking to a buddy today and he was telling me you can shop online using just a checking account...
As for transferring money onto a credit card, I think you're mistaken there—I actually asked at the bank and the woman working there told me I could transfer funds from my checking account to the credit card. I guess that's how you pay it off or bump up the limit.<.<;
Also, there's always that risk when you shop online because you're handing over your card number and all that sensitive info... I've heard way too many stories about people getting ripped off that way...

You aren't increasing your limit; you're just paying off what you already spent on the card. Look, if I have an account at the Royal Bank of Canada and a Diners Club card, and I don't feel like driving down to the Diners Club office or the post office or dealing with the IRS to pay cash, I can just use my banking app to transfer the amount I owe directly to their account to settle the bill.

The whole point of a credit card is that the bank or the credit company lends you money—basically letting you go into a hole.

But don't get cocky or think you can just blow through cash without paying it back. It’ll bite you... man, it's gonna cost you big time.
Are former mods getting special treatment? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Nicole Mitchell said:And honestly, this whole thread that everyone's making such a massive deal out of isn't even an original topic. It serves absolutely zero purpose; it's just pure trolling...

What makes it trolling? This was started by a full-fledged member who we all know isn't some random troll. And what do you mean by "original"? Since when did you become a lie detector or some high-brow literary critic? What's this supposed to mean, that it "serves no purpose"? What's the point of a forum if not to talk? What kind of deep, philosophical meaning are you looking for in these random threads?

Nicole Mitchell said:I can't believe people are actually falling for this crap. Seriously, what are we even doing here? It’s like everyone just collectively decided to stop using their brains at the same time. I saw this guy yesterday—just some dude at a Starbucks in Chicago—trying to argue about politics with someone who clearly didn't know the difference between a senator and a mailman. It was painful to watch. And don't even get me started on what **Gary Patel** is saying. Honestly, man, give it a rest. You're reaching so hard you're gonna pull a muscle. It’s pure nonsense. People like him just love the sound of their own voices, regardless of whether they're making sense or not. It's the same old story every single day. Everyone thinks they've got the ultimate truth, but half the time, they can't even handle basic facts. It's exhausting. Just total exhaustion.

This is straight-up hate speech targeting our national identity, and honestly, it deserves at least a 30-day suspension... maybe even a permanent ban if we're being real. But since the mod is actually playing the game, I guess we aren't seeing any consequences. Typical. 🙏🙏🙏

Give me a break. Seriously, stop talking nonsense. Nobody is actually going to get banned over some random post like that, so quit being such a drama queen.

Is this some kind of nationalistic provocation? Seriously?

🤣

I’m just now seeing this. Are you kidding me right now? Seriously. Her eyes weren't smiling? What, should she have done a little happy dance for you too? Look, I get what you're trying to do—you want to point out that her smile wasn't "genuine"—but it's not her job to be your best friend or radiate pure joy. It's all just professional courtesy. She's at work. Get it? Work. She doesn't owe you some soul-searching, heartfelt grin when you can't even handle being responsible enough to bring two basic things she actually needs. Maybe if you had actually brought them, she would've been real with you. 🤷
Rachel Brooks63 said:Look, if it were me, I’d probably just kick you out on the street and tell you to come back when you actually have a referral and your medical history ready. But hey, I’m not exactly known for being polite. Those people over at the Agency? They're the ones who are actually nice and professional.

Later.
Can we get back to the main point though—how do we actually find a moderator who actually fits the vibe of the users here? 😁
Rachel Sanchez11 said:Personally, I’m throwing my hat in the ring for Smart to handle Politics, maybe even stepping in as a super mod.
Let them "oversee" the regular mods and step in to clean up those messy situations that go way beyond their pay grade...

(I mean, there’s been this suggestion floating around for ages that for Politics, we should probably appoint an Admin alongside the mods just to give things some actual weight.)

I knew you didn't like me, but damn, this much?....😬
